The Bartender and the Beer Good… Food over priced & low quality, would have been better off walking to the IHOP in front of the Hotel

The service here used to be good. Used to be. The wait staff is clueless and kinda lazy. Waited 5 minutes to be seated by a hostess. Finally just picked a table and sat. That took a while as most of the tables that weren’t seated hadn’t been bussed. They still hadn’t been bussed when I left. Food service was S.L.O.W! Especially considering most of the patrons seemed to be eating off the buffet rather than eating off the menu. I heard one server try and explain the slow service to another table claiming they were busy but that hardly seemed the case. I will probably try it again because I like the hotel but with as many good places to eat that are close to here if you are in a rush don’t waste your time. Side note I asked for some jelly for my toast when my food came. Took five minutes for the waitress to get me some jelly.

Not the greatest place, but considering it’s inside the Holiday Inn, not bad at all to grab a beer and dinner if your staying here. Food is ok, service is good.

Located in the first floor of the Holiday Inn, the Sporting News Grill is a generic sports bar. Several TVs, a bar in the back with an ok selection of draft beer, and a menu of the usual suspects(buffalo wings; burgers) executed with competence if not panache. An ok place to get some drinks or a meal.
