Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport – Terminal B

They have new food options!
The bathrooms are clean!
My connecting flight was just next door so that was awesome — which also means I didn’t roam much.
There’s a decent amount of scattered charging ports and free wifi!

Unilocal took down my original review for inappropriate content but I still claim this terminal is a complete piece of shit and I have an obligation to the people of the Unilocal community to let them know this. Therefore I am reposting as I need to offset the 4 star review of the lady who is happy about there being a McDonalds here so…

This terminal is shit. Just one restaurant with an abysmal line. There’s also a shitty little stand with some $ 9 wraps that are drenched in mayo. Skittles from the Hudson market will make a great dinner tonight.

Cava here is finally opened, so they just got the bump up from 1-​Star to 2-​Stars. As far as airport terminals go still one of the worst.

This place is pretty awful if you have a tight connecting flight in a different terminal. This was our situation but we made it just in time to our gate.
As we sat in our plane after flying in from Phoenix almost hour after we should have arrived –
Our pilot forgot his ID badge at home so he had drove all the way to the airport just to have to turn around and get it at home so he was almost 45 minutes late in turn making our flight late.
So while pulling up to our gate our flight attendant made it a point if you don’t have a connection then please wait for people that do so they can get to their flights in other words SIT DOWN. This next part my fiancé didn’t hear –you have to go back through security to get to other terminals/​gates not in this terminal. So as we made our way to our next gate we noticed we were leaving security? –oh yeah! This is what she was talking about now! Then we realized we had to book it to our next flight.
I’ve been to a lot of airports all around the country and usually you never have to go back through security since it’s usually connected some how for passengers.
We finally got in a winding line of well dressed men and women and curiously a whole bunch of little kids which was perfect since they didn’t have ID’s to get checked. Security was the typical procedure and we actually got through in record time to our gate which was located next to Fuddruckers. If we got here any earlier we would have reeked of burgers and fries. Yuck.
We didn’t really get to explore the place since our connection was really tight but the first word I heard getting off the plane was Filibuster. Lol.

I’m in this terminal and gate area a lot when traveling for work. This place used to suck. The whole area smelt like greasy fried food from the one fast food place, and then there was this HUGE gift shop off to the side that took up so much room and had so many overpriced useless gifts that it was hard to find a seat. Basically if you wanted coffee or any real food you had to get it before you entered this terminal at the security point. It was really bad. Fast forward one year…
The lame seafood restaurant is GONE and replaced with a nicer place and menu. They got rid of the grease machine eatery and they’re going to put something else in there, meanwhile there’s a Starbucks (woohoo), an updated Hudson News, there’s a McDonald’s around the corner that I honestly only noticed today, and they got rid of the gift shop to add more seating with plugs, and two pop up food stations on the seating floor for coffee and quick grab food items. MUCH better improvements. Before, all you could get of quality was the Dunkin Doughnuts right outside the Terminal entrance and good luck getting that through security…
It’s still a bit of a bottle neck of all the Delta gates and it gets crowded pretty fast, but at least there’s more place to escape to now to eat.
