Can I say consistency, this is the place to go for Tex Mex and we do it with frequency. In fact, this our Date night headquarters. The staff out out of this world and the atmosphere is excellent. Great vibe and love the mariachi’s.

I never been to Papasito’s before and one of my friend suggested we go check it out so I was like sure always wanted to try it out but never had a chance before. As soon as we walk up to the hostess there were about 4 women hanging out there which I find it was a waste of man power. We told them we were a party of 4 and wanted to seat outside since it was a nice day. It took them a minute looking at their ipad and then talking to each others then finally we were pointed to follow one of the women. So we did she walked us to a tiny table that can yes seat 4 people but after our waiter brought us out the salsa and chips it was pretty full. So how are you expecting to seat 4 to a table that small? So then we order one of their soups, the appetizer sample and 2 dishes one was the Rosa and the other was fish with 3 shrimp with wrapped in bacon. By the way the salsa it is one of the worst salsa I ever had. When they start bring out our dishes we have to start moving things around to fit stuff on the little kid table. Since we ran out of space we had to tell the waiter to remove the chips basket to make space for our dishes. All those dishes we tried were just bland and unappealing. So then the bill came out and we spend $ 100 bucks for way under par food. While we were seating there my brother was telling me he would have been happier eating at taco bell. LOL let me just say a big fail of a dinner. One star is for the service our waiter was very nice and patient but everything else was so blah.

I can not BELIEVE the service I received at this place. I attended a graduation dinner which was originally set for 20ppl but it’s a celebration for someone who conquered something so about a extra 10 ppl came mostly all adults and about 5 kids. Our first yes first meaning more than one waitress didn’t even greet us she watched us sit down and went to the mother of the graduate to say«this is more than expected/I didn’t agree to wait a table this big/there are too many people» and walked off not hey this is more than expected but I’ll do my best to serve please bear with me yada yada. After 45mins of sitting there Our second waiter had the audacity to tap almost each person on the shoulder with his pen and say«your drink? What is it?» And rolled his eyes the whole time I think his name was Edison. one of the guest asked the waiter to return before the 4pm lunch special was over as the menu was overpriced for Mexican food and the girl acted like we were bothering her and said with a attitude«it’s all day» to which the guest replied then why would the Menu say mon-sun 11−4pm if it were all day? The girl then responded«it’s all day just listen to me» after that another waiter came back to the table after someone complained and said to me «what do you want? I heard y’all was ready so what do you want?» I refuse to spend my hard earned money on pitiful service so I said I wasn’t eating and the guy huffed and puffed rolled his eyes and left. Another waiter came took our orders and after another 45mins without food or refills only bland chips they finally came back with the food in which most of it was only called out once/low/on one end of the table and left there until someone discovered it. I’ve never ever been treated like this did I mention it was a slow Sunday? People standing around doing nothing? Oh and to top it off I was sitting near the waiter bar I guess and heard nothing but complaints from the staff and a smaller party in the back even got yelled at by a staff member because his tip wasn’t as much as he’d like to where the manager Brent had to step in all this happened in front of us oh and at 5 they expected us to be done after our food didn’t arrive at a decent time most of the orders were incomplete and we had about 4 waitress/waiter changes. I feel bad for the party that was after us. Oh how did I know there was a party after us? Because while our bags were still there and pictures were taken the staff pulled the party in and had them huddle around the table watching us and cleaning off the table without asking if we were taking it to go

We love going here but service is definitely a hit or miss. We came last night and service was just okay. Took forever for them to bring out chips and salsa. Brahne(sp?) our waiter was very attentive though. The Sour Cream Chicken Tinga enchiladas are . The chicken is seasoned really well. The sour cream sauce is really good and the enchiladas are topped with tons of cheese which is yummy. The crispy beef tacos are really good here as well. The watermelon margarita is good here along with the skinny margarita. Their Tres Leche cake is so good which is accompanied with fresh fruits(usually strawberries and mango). We’re definitely a fan of Pappasitos even when they’re always super busy.

This star rating is solely based on the group of young hostesses and their lack of service and poor demeanor. They seem to have better things to do than tend to waiting guests like play around and giggle. We ended up sitting at the bar and had a great server there and delicious food. The Diablo shrimp is always a favorite. The food is great!

Good menu selection. Spanish rice was bland. Chicken fajita burrito overly salty. Service is generally average. Food is OK.

First of all, I want to give a shout out to one person, the bartender name Jonah! He made me feel right at home. Thank you! I ordered the lunch special, famosas Fajitas! They were very delicious! I complimented with a local IPA that hit the spot. If you ever in the area, stop by the bar and give Jonah a high five! I will stop again when I’m back in town. I totally recommend this restaurant. Enjoy! #SeñorFood

We came to Pappasito’s with a pretty big group of people with reservations on the patio at 7:30pm. Upon arrival, we were seated pretty quickly, and our server quickly came to the table. I’m pretty sure her name was Abby. Well, our server was great, and she was very attentive and accommodating for us. The kids were given crayons and paper to color while we waited, which is always great. Our drinks came pretty quickly — and they were consistently checked over the course of our meal. I think she forgot my drink once, but it was not the end of the world. As soon as I reminded her, my replacement came quickly. We ordered queso for the table, and while it did look suspect in its color — it actually was very good. Side note: it’s not queso blanco — it’s just a regular queso. The chips were good and the salsa was good. I don’t really know what everyone else ordered, but I got the cheese enchiladas, and I requested white queso on top. They were simply out of this world. I know, I know… cheese wrapped in a tortilla cannot be hard — but I’ve had my share of bad cheese enchiladas. These were sensational. I also liked the rice and beans. Great meal. Big portion. I could have taken some home for leftovers, but since I was traveling — I opted out. With my meal, I had some margaritas too. I really don’t know how strong the drinks were, but if I were to guess, they were on the weak side. If you’re going with intentions of getting a drink poured with a heavy-hand — then you won’t get that at Pappasito’s… but you know — to a novice drinker, you might be fine. ;) Anyway — Pappasito’s isn’t going to be this out-of-this-world restaurant experience. I secretly wish we had gone to a local, unknown, hole-in-the-wall restaurant, because chain restaurants aren’t normally my fave — BUT… this one was alright. No complaints. If I had to dine here again, I wouldn’t definitely wouldn’t be mad about it!

It may be a chain, but it’s some damn good Tex-Mex. Arrived at 2pm: –No wait. –Hostess should smile more! –Greeted right away with light crispy chips and salsa with JUST a teeny kick. -$ 2 frozen mimosas on Sunday! YASSS! Perfect for the patio! –Peyton is our server — she’s cute, sweet, knowledgable and has recommendations ready. Into it! –Queso blanco plus steak = awesome. Creamy. Flavorful, smokey taste. Peyton lit it on fire. Cool AND delicioso. — Ordered Brochette Shrimp and Large Steak fajitas. Came out in less than 20 minutes. Piping hot and tasty AF. Steak perfectly cooked and lean. –3 of us ate our fill for $ 110 Been here four times now(every time I’m in Dallas) and it never disappoints! Always clean. Always friendly staff. Always yummy. xoxo

I’ve always loved the food at Pappasito’s. Yesterday, I had lunch plans there but an upset stomach. Not great for Mexican food. The waiter recommended their chicken soup(different from the tortilla soup). It was one of the best soups I’ve ever had, and this is being written by someone who makes a homemade chicken soup that’s been requested from far and wide! It was a large enough bowl that I ended up taking half of it home, and just enjoyed it a second time. This was unexpected find that I’ll probably come back for again and again. Our waiter, Taylor(male), was excellent, and very attentive. All-in-all, it was another great experience with Pappasito’s!

Food is amazing! I had the Laredo. It was enough for my girlfriend and I. Chz enchilada is also great. It’s a little on the noisy side in the dining room but the patio seems like it would have been the best seat. The tables are small and crammed together, it seems like they are occupying as much real estate as possible with tables. Service tonight was just ok, the table wasn’t really pre-bussed through our meal. Everything came out correct and in a timely fashion. The building itself is aesthetically pleasing and their specialty drinks are great. Fun bar atmosphere, and happy hour

We love to eat at the location in Fort Worth. Had not been at this one in years. The hostess lied to us and told us we could not have a table by the window«because they are reserved.» Four tables were open and NEVER seated. I told a manager that I do not appreciate her lying to me. The server was not attentive(like the usual). He would not look us in the eye. He rushed around at the end. Very unhappy.

THis was decent. Atmosphere was super fun. Bartenders were awesome. Wait staff was a bit behind and we didnt get the things we needed and had to wait a long time for stuff like water refills and beer. No biggie since it was busy but since being busy is nothing new for this place-they should be used to it. Chips were ok. Salsa was not my favorite. Heavy on chipoltle. Good. But not what i like in my salsa w chips. On top of chicken-yes. Not plain chips. Drinks were solid when we could get them from our waiter. On a busy night just stay at the bar and eat. Better service up there! Hostess staff are sweet and helpful.

The chips have just enough salt but are a little greasy. They are thin but good enough to scoop salsa. The sour cream sauce is creamy and salty, with maybe a tad bit of buttery taste. We are here at lunch and i split an order of quesadillas and tacos with someone. I am STUFFED! The half orders came out on seperate plates but but looked like full orders. The quesadilla pieces came with alot of cheese and chicken. The taco was stuffed to the brim. The beans are whole, and mixed in with creamy refried beans. The rice is a little dry but edible. Service here is usually pretty quick. Someone in my party stayed on the phone for 10 minutes so that probably threw a wrench into the monkeyworks. At the end of the day, i DO recommend this. Come on wednesday. The fajita special feeds 3 – 4 people.

It’s a chain, thus I’m fully expecting to get a handful of «funny» clicks on this review, but I don’t care. I’ve tried enchiladas at at least 15 places around town(since moving here a year ago) and Pappasito’s has the best enchiladas I’ve had in the Metroplex. Like, mind-blowingly good. Granted, I have midwestern taste buds and haven’t been around tex mex my whole life, but I’m often confused as mexican so that’s gotta count for something, right? The margaritas are also pretty awesome.

I’ve loved this place since they opened. The food is GREAT, the service is normally good, and the beer is cold. Now what’s bad though is this place is about to start pricing me out. $ 25 for fajitas? $ 18 for a combo Mexican plate? Hey, this place is always packed and Tex-Mex is about the cheapest food that you can serve. I know you are a corporation and in the business of making money but it’s starting to get a little extreme. I realize as long as this place is packed that you will keep upping your prices but I’m about ready to find a good mom and pop place that has just as good of food for a fraction of the price. I know, an unusual review. I give them 4 stars but did not really say many nice things about them. Sorry about that.

I’ve been to this location of Papasito’s a few times for lunch with co-workers. To me, the only time Papasito’s is worth the money for what you get during their weekday lunch specials. Otherwise, it’s just a bit overpriced for the quality. $ 20 for one-person fajitas. no. I like their Friday special(chile rellano, taco, & tostado) and it’s only $ 8. They have a pretty good starter queso(of course overpriced). I’m intrigued by their margarita list, but since I probably will never go for dinner and am there during work hours, I’ll probably never try one! The service hasn’t always been very good. Part of the problem is it’s always super crowded, the tables are pushed very close together and it can get so loud you can’t hear who you’re sitting with. I’m not totally down on them; the food is pretty good. But I think the theme of this review is «meh.» I’m not wowed by it, but enough of my co-workers like it that I’ll continue to go and order the same thing that I know will be good and $ 8.

Pappasito’s is a well-known restaurant chain, famous for their fresh & tasty tex mex. The service is great, the hostesses are friendly and the atmosphere is fun and lively. The restaurant gets crowded on weekend nights & Sunday after church but it’s definitely worth the wait. I like to stop by on a weekend afternoon for a quick drink with friends. The bartenders are always fun and quick with the service. Pappasito’s has a broad glutten-free menu so everyone in your group can get what they like. The chips are not G-free, just FYI, but if you don’t want glutten, you should be able to get corn tortillas for dipping in the salsa. The fish is really good too and they’ll prepare it to you specifications.

The location has a sampler platter which is good for three or four to share with a large group. The missing quantities of guacamole and sour cream are the only real negatives. All the items are fried so this is not for the health conscious. The manager does combine quite well to greet everyone and the servers are friendly and upbeat. The price point for the sampler is well with most of their items is a bit high more commercially then authentic. This location is very very loud so if you’re looking for intimate conversation you’re in the wrong place. One true plus is there margaritas as they are made fresh, good flavor, and strong. And a new kind of build it yourself margaritas style, which is a nice product differentiator.

Super expensive but darned good. Love the chips and salsa and our waiter hooked me up with a nice set to go. Four friends and I went on Weds, for ½ priced combo fajitas for two. Since I was the odd man out, I splurged and spent $ 18 for my fave chicken and spinach quesadilla. It’s ridiculously overpriced and I normally only get it once a year because of that, so sadly, 2015 has seen the end of the goodness for me! Good service but just way too pricey to justify it. They added a ton of seafood entrees, most of which are $ 30 or so… insane!
