No Frills Grill & Sports Bar

Great bar to hang out and have a couple of drinks with friends, or to even make new ones. The atmosphere of the place is very relaxed and friendly. Drink prices are great and the daily specials are good. Staff is friendly and the food is good. The inside is non-​smoking but they do have an outdoor patio (Which is smoking) and indoor smoking area in the back. The place has plenty of TVs to watch the game on so you are not likely to miss any of the action.

My home away from home for draft beer and greasy bar food at rock bottom prices. You’re not going to find more bang for the buck than this place. Best value is their bean and cheese nachos, but if you want a meal go for the turkey bacon twister on a pretzel roll. Now if they would just bring back Killians I would be in heaven!

This place is okay if u don’t mind having to wait an incredibly long time for everything. And if u don’t want alcohol in your drinks. Then this is your place to be.

This place is exactly what the title says. No frills. This is not a swanky martini joint, this is the perfect place to come for a pitcher of beer and a good burger. Consistent food and a sports bar atmosphere. most importantly, great drink prices

Horrible customer service ok food. I asked the waiter about a good beverage and his reply was we have a full bar. When we finally received our drinks the waiter didn’t ask if we were ready to order, just put the drinks on the table and came back 15 min later to see if we wanted any food with our drinks. Definitely won’t be back.

Great space alot of room and you can bring friends or family and has a patio too! More importantly great price wells love it!

My home away from home. The people are hilarious, the wait staff remembers your face cause you are normally causing trouble or laughing at it. Its become my 2 – 3 times a week fix for cheap booze and a great spot to play some dominoes. It can get super busy on the weekends and is the perfect place to watch some sports they always have a game on. Crowd is diverse but makes for an awesome atmosphere at times. Good location, right next to a liquor store so you can go get a bottle, pregame then finish the night at no frills. Dont let the name fool you, there are plenty of frills at this place, you never know what you might see or do at the place. She is my lady

Good food, cheap drinks, lots of room for large groups. Family friendly with a game room. Try the Chipotle wings. Fresh homemade baked & worth the wait (about 20 mins).

If it’s Friday, you’ll find us here. We LOVE their appraisers and I can’t leave without having their chili; it’s the best I’ve had in the Arlington area. We often go to watch sports on the big screens. TIP: the place gets very busy after 6:30 pm on Fridays; lots of large groups and families go there on Friday nights.

Here, the name says it all! If you want to watch a game, get some inexpensive grub, and have a cheap, cold brew, this might be the place for you. On the other hand, if you are looking for a spinach salad with toasted pecans & a raspberry vinaigrette served in a pretty bowl by a waitress with a figure like a lollipop and named Reagan, this ain’t your joint.
No Frills is a seat-​yourself, take-​control-​of-​your-​own-​experience kind of place. If loud conversations, rambunctious kids, and lots of sports on the hundreds of TVs is not your thing, Chilis & Cheddars are not far away. On our most recent visit, we wanted a place to watch the women’s world cup & we were able to change the channel on the TV in our booth. I have to tell you, that is refreshing. We have been to competitors where we may be watching one game only to have it changed at the request of some rabid fan down the way.
The food is served either on plastic trays or aluminum pizza pans, and yes, the service can be slower than a Texas Rangers’ fan at a day game.
The bone-​in wings are unbreaded (a plus) and served fairly wet (lots of sauce). They could be more generous with the dipping sauce, but they will bring more if requested. Our favorite appetizer is the Jack Bites. These are little chunks of Pepper Jack cheese deep fried. Another favorite is the Crawfish Quesadilla. It’s interesting the Crawfish Nachos seem to be less seasoned than the Quesadilla.
They offer a $ 5.99 lunch deal which includes a choice of selected burgers/​sandwiches, fires, & a drink. I have tried the Melt and also the Chili Cheese Dog. Both were better than average.
They also have pool tables, daily drink specials, and a little arcade for the kiddos. They also have the TV trivia game… FYI the game units are also self-​serve, so jump up and help yourself. If you are waiting on a server, you missed the point of the name.
The place is big, so if the lot is crowded, fear not.

Will give you an extra star just for consistency! You always know what you are getting at Frills! Great little place!

The best sports bar in S. Arlington. Reminds me of cheers! They know your name if you come here enough. Not me. But the guys I come with are known by all the waitstaff. For me, this restaurant/​bar has changed a bunch since I started coming back in 2001. But, it’s still the best. They have added more frills. The menu has gotten better, but the service is always super nice.

You asked for date and time; it was Sunday November 9^th at approx 3:30 pm. I only stayed until half time because I was so tired of being ignored. I found a manager (female) at 5 pm. told her my story and left.

This is an excellent place to grab some great grill food. It is family friendly and non smoking in the restaurant area. They have buzz time triva and lots of TVS. They bar is FULL service and they have a separate smoking section. Good game room for the kids, so bring quarters.
The menu has a lot to choose from. From standard bar food, to seafood. Even if you are in a diet or trying to eat healthy you should be able to find something.
This is a great place to catch the local sports teams.
Grab some friends and grab some beers, you’ll have a blast.

Are u having a bad day… go to no frills… want to hang out w friends… head to no frills. Cold beer that we’ll priced and amazing food. They will even customize it to fit a 0 carb diet. The wait staff will remember u and treat u like your family. Want to throw a party… wow we held an event with 220 people and 102 jeeps and not one complaint from anoyone! Talk about accommodations… wow did they modify, work with us and make our event epic. Yep this is a 5 star neighborhood bar n grill… can I sum it up by saying… WOO HOO!!!

This is the place to go for cheap beer! Anytime I bring somebody new here, they are always amazed when they get their checks.

My favorite part… The main bar is non smoking. I can go hang out for hours, and leave and not stink like a cigarette! :) They do have a separate enclosed smoking section, and a patio in the back where you can smoke as well.

I thought everything we ordered was just «okay». I wasn’t expecting the best food ever, I know it’s just bar food. But my boyfriend ordered the Catfish Po Boy and had to force himself to eat it, and wasn’t feeling right all day after that.
I got the Club sandwich and it was alright, but not like normal club and it seemed like it was missing something.
So I probably wont be back even though it is super close to the house.
