Microtel Inn & Suites Dallas/Arlington

2 stars because the staff was helpful and friendly. The room had an odd setup with the entire wall against the bed covered with a huge mirror. Had to slam the door so it would lock (it was by accident i discovered this… kinda creeped me out). Found hairs on my towels (at least they were long hairs though), toilet was dirty and needed a good cleaning under the rim. Didn’t let my baby bathe in the bath because I had the heeby jeebies. Will not return. Room was cheap but not cheap enough for the quality.

The location was great but the room itself was pretty awful. The fridge was noisy (see other reviews), the hallway smelled of drugs, the room was out dated and overall… gross. I suggest staying elsewhere, even though it was cheap.

We chose this hotel because of all of the positive reviews, but the entire experience turned out to be a nightmare. We couldn’t check in on time even though they said we had a room, had to wait 3 hours, kids running up and down the halls screaming all night, and the bathroom by the check-​in looked like a truck stop bathroom. Couldn’t wait to leave, only stayed because we couldn’t get a refund. Fridge sounded like a woodpecker, heard every toilet for 4 rooms down the hall flushing, etc… I will stop here. If you are trying to choose a hotel pass this one by.

FABULOUS. I actually didn’t know what to expect from this place but I’m impressed enough to right a good review.
I got into Mircotel Hotel because my flight was canceled and the Airline put me up here for the night. They picked me up in a Shuttle and drove me here. The driver was a VERY pleasant fella who was equally welcoming and funny. I checked in No Problem with Kristy who is just the sweetest thing! She was so nice and helpful and even referred to me by name as if we were old friends.
The room was slightly stuffy but once I opened my window and turned the fan on, it became very comfortable. It’s not at the height of luxury but it sure was a VERY comfortable bed. If you like rock hard beds, go someplace else because the beds at Microtel Hotel are As Soft as a Cloud! I fell right to sleep.
The shower heads need to be changed to something more modern in my opinion but you’re hearing this from a spoiled lady who has a top-​notch shower head at home thank you very much.
All and all, if you’re just looking for a comfortable place to lay you head, FREE WIFI, GREAT cable selection and a warm and inviting atmosphere then this place is for you. Check it out for yourself but I’m a fan.
I mean, after my horrible ordeal with my flight it was VERY comforting to be welcomed and serviced properly. Thank you Kristy and the Microtel Hotel!

This hotel doesn’t look like all the other microtels I’ve stayed at. The room looked clean at first but the carpet looked dirty. The rooms need a serious make over. It looks like a very cheap hotel. Would not stay here again.

Horrible place. If you don’t like ghetto neighbors, mice/​rats in the walls, lack of upkeep, or lazy customer service, than don’t stay here. If you do like any of these things stay in this cigarette smoke riddled, «hotel». The tv in the upper corner of the room, which isn’t horrible but the remote doesn’t work either. This place makes you want to shower. So bad. Don’t stay here.

Availability of two queen beds and reasonable cost for Arlington attracted me to this hotel. That’s it for pluses. Minuses are old room décor, tv placed on top of wardrobe, dirty bathroom, smoke smell in hallways, and side entrance door that isn’t locked at night.
