Las Coronas

I went here for dinner with my parents, grandma, and husband. The chips were stale, the food was pretty bland, the sauce on the enchiladas wasn’t very good, and the service was so-​so. As far as service the waitress would come over ask if we wanted more water, and then only fill one glass (when more than one of us wanted more!). She seemed forgetful and not very observant. The free chips-​which were refillable, seemed pretty stale. My parents and I got fajitas, my husband had enchiladas, burrito, and a chimichanga (combo meal), and my grandma had a quesadilla. Both of my parent’s fajitas came with 3 tortillas, but mine only came with 2. I probably could have asked for more but didn’t bother. The portions of meat and vegetables were decent, but the food was not impressive. The chicken in the fajitas seemed to have a lot of seasoning on them due to it’s color, but I think more of the flavoring came from the pan that it came in. That it stuck to and burned a little from! My husband was not impressed with his meal. He thought it was very bland and the sauce was not very appetizing. Overall-​we will not return unless it isn’t our choice!

Not sure where all these other people were, I must have been there on a very bad day. We usually go to Paraiso for mexican, thought we would try another local place. We were the only customers, so you would think we would have been waited on, we weren’t, the service was almost nonexistent, we were welcomed, got a table, got water and chips/​salsa (runny salsa), the waitress came back in due time to take the order and we never saw her again, someone else brought the food, one refill on drinks, didn’t see anyone again until we had been done a while, needed napkins, refills, chips, I am not hard to please, been there done that, I am a very easy customer. The restaurant itself was overall mostly clean, BUT the ac vents were absolutely hanging with dirt, NOW for the important part, the food, YULK, I had three corn tacos with marinated pork (the pork was in tic tac size pieces not chunks, wish they would have cut all the nasty fat off before marinating the meat) any big chunks were actually fat (GROSS) I like everything! (not gross fat bits) it was just nasty. The refried beans were excellent, they were very flavorful, the rice was boring, it was just rice, avocado slices on top of the tacos were fresh and good. My boyfriend had asada burrito which was bland with the meat being tough. OVERALL ~ we aren’t gong back ~

Fantastic food. Bottomless chips and hot fresh salsa. The portions are hard to finish, so come hungry. Very flavourful entrees. Staff were very personable, smiling, and consistently coming by. The only thing that could have been better was to add a bit more atmosphere. Interior looked a little unfinished, but the food made it pretty much go away. Adiós
