When I read the reviews I was expecting the devil but did not want to go search high and low for another one and decided if he was awful I would leave. He was by no means warm and fuzzy but he spent a lot of time trying to get to the bottom of a relatively small injury and was very thorough. In no way was he mean or dismissive to me. I would absolutely recommend him to someone else.

If I were rating for efficiency at moving patients in and out quickly, I’d give him five stars. Sadly, the only person Dr. McConnell’s speed seems to benefit is himself.
My visit started with a 40 minute wait after my appointment time. Not horrible for a doctor’s office, but when I consider the speed with which I was rushed out the door, it’s mind boggling to imagine how he ever got behind.
When I got to the exam room to have my knee looked at a very nice assistant interviewed me for the relevant details. Then the Doc breezed in, glanced quickly at my chart, asked a couple of hurried questions, mumbled something about x-​Rays, and left.
After that I could hear him in the hall verbally berating some IT guy about the computers, then a tech showed up to get a couple x-​Rays. A few minutes later, I was back in the exam room as the doc perused my X-​rays. Once he decided that there was no surgery necessary, he became even less interested in me than before, which really buggers the imagination. He muttered something about bone spurs, and arthritis, patted me on the head and sent me on my way. Thanks for nothing, doc.
I went elsewhere to get a real diagnosis of patellar tendinitis, and I’m now healing nicely.

Very professional service, they were able to squeeze me in short notice. Place looked clean and the Doctors were very polite and informative. Provided me with a useful literature for my injure which was useful.

Came back for my check-​up. This times things were much more efficient. I was seen quickly. The doc was friendly and thorough (maybe b/​c they were less busy) — and I heard what I wanted to hear about getting better and being done with PT! :) All in all, a good experience, I got my shoulder taken care of all around as needed.

Doctor is hurried, arrogant, a poor listener, poor at explanations of treatments, and reluctant to answer questions. He may have sound medical judgment – how can a non-​medical person tell? – but his manner of dealing with people is terrible. There are better choices out there.
