Great food… cool people! I would recommend it to any one who loves burgers! I would not recommend the 7 patty burger however. …look at the pics.

I ordered the Thousand Island burger and sweet potato fries. Bf got the Jungle Burger and onion rings. We cut our burgers in half so we could try both lol and my sweet Jesus… it was ALL delicious! I loved the flavor of the Jungle Burger most — that spice is just right. Every synonym of huge applies to the size of the burgers, portions of fries & onion rings are proudly plentiful, and a serve yourself soda fountain as well as canned available. Burgers are bought separate. add $ 2.75 to make a combo. They also have a chalkboard with lunch combo specials. I will return :)

Don’t confuse this one with another one on Pioneer Pkwy in Grand Prairie. I think that one is missing the S on the end. This one though, is one of the best-kept secrets in Arlington. You’ll need to get on Cooper street and head South. Way south. It’s tucked in at the corner of a small strip mall. If not for the sign you’ll pass right by it. But for my money it has some of the best burgers in Arlington– including some very well-known, big-name players that you’ll drive by on the way down there. But this is not a place you go looking for great ambiance and décor. It’s the full«hole-in-the-wall» experience, right down to great food and enormous portions. You can spend a lot for a burger and fries on Cooper street. Here though, you’ll spend a more than reasonable amount for a great burger and fries that you probably won’t be able to finish.

A friend brought me a fat juicy burger from this restaurant sometime ago and my Oak Cliff tastebuds were finally satisfied by a suburban fat burger spot. We decided to go today and set a spell while taking in the sights and sounds of this quaint little burger joint. It is not quite a dive, but it has a down home feel. A few tables had chess and checker sets which made a great addition to the environment for a family of four, with two tween boys. The door opened often for new takers, it was the perfect scene on a Tuesday afternoon. Our waitress greeted us promptly, however, it was slightly peculiar since we asked for a moment and she simply stood at the table while we decided. My son was a bit flustered because as he perused his options, he was sternly directed to the children’s section of the menu by the waitress.(They are off the two chicken tender meals now.) We placed the order and played! We decided on appetizers to accompany our meal, this should have been a no, no, due to the size of the feast that awaited us. We ordered the fried mushrooms, however, they had all been eaten by previous patrons.(They were out.) These were replaced with fried jalapeños, coupled with our fried mozzarella cheese sticks. I know it is not the healthiest of meals, but who cares. Our burgers arrived and all of our eyeballs landed on our plates! The only word to describe these cows and vegetation between two saucers of bread is, supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! I began to cut the burger in half, this seemed to be the only way to achieve any success in devouring the fat burger. With each cut the crisp sound of delectable vegetables could be heard. I took a bite and sheer heaven engulfed my mouth! The tasty seasoned fries were cooked just right and served as a suitable bride with this heavy-weight burger. This is an adventure that awaits you and your family on a day with no activities that follow. It would be wrong if I failed to mention the variety of food Jimmy’s Big Burgers has tucked away in the corner of the menu. As we walked out of the door, a couple dined on what appeared to be abundant plates of Asian food. — Hmmm. Three stars, because I am a bit stingy, but know, «I’ll Be Back!»

Excellent burgers, great price. The double jungle burger comes in at 1 pound, loaded with cheese, bacon, mushrooms, jalapeño, and more for only $ 8.95,. The beer battered onion rings were light and delicious. We took a fried rice jumbalaya order to go. You have to try it,

I recommend you tell them take it easy on any mayonnaise or mustard, because, by default, they will add a whole bottle to each burger. The meat has very little after-taste, but it all tastes pretty good while you eat. The owners are really really nice, though, and they deliver. I believe this and Jimmy’s Jungle Burger are the same, or at least they taste identical and have Jimmy in the name.

Ordered take out from Jimmy’s on a rainy night during a burger craving my son had. We were surprised, after being burned by $ 12 burgers up and down 157, and mediocre burgers that try and hit the sweet spot on price but miss on taste — Jimmy’s hits one out of the park. We ordered three burgers, fries, and a salad and all of it was great. We’ll definitely go back, can’t believe this place was right under our nose all along.

fries are good, burgers(hickory cheese) good, clams strips are absolutely awesome! I’ve been a few times, place is consistent; you will leave full for the price. Fries could be better; but the burger is real and the clams are my fave.

Good menu selection of burgers and BYOB is always nice. Chipotle burger is good. Major downside — if you order your burger medium, you will be very disappointed. My second attempt to get a burger not cooked to the point of jerky, I even explained«medium.» It came out well done –very overcooked. The cook offered to cook another, but I opted to eat and make it my last visit.

5 stars for portions! 2 stars for flavor. Patty needs seasoning and is way over cooked.

Huge burger, not huge flavor. The burger was fine and pretty standard, but the patties could stand to be seasoned at least. With Chop House now in the area, they are going to have to step it up.

I’ve been to this place about twice now and each time the burgers have been absolutely delicious. The staff was incredibly patient and kind with my picky grandparents which is something I really appreciate, and they were able to get out everyone’s orders out quickly and correctly. You definitely get the bang for your buck here and I’ll be returning again very soon. This place is number two on my list of the best burgers in arlington/mansfield so if you love burgers, then this place is a must try!

Love these burgers! Very generous portions. They are very close to my residence AND they deliver, so that’s a dangerous combination.
