I would give less then one star if I could. I am Hilton Diamond and stay at Homewood Suites often. It is old, run down and dirty. Maid did not show for 2 days and when I called the front desk had an «oh well» attitude. By the looks of other reviews it is the norm. I will never stay here again and am surprised Hilton still allows them to carry the brand.

I am a diamond member and love the Hilton Brand but this by far was my worst stay at a Hilton Homewood Suites ever. The room was totally disgusting and the floors were not cleaned. The sheets had black spots on them gross. I will never stay here again.

The good: Walking distance to Six Flags. Go around the back through two parking lots, cross the street and you’re there, walking to the entrance is the longest part. It’s also a small driving distance to tons of fast food restaurants and there’s a Walmart down the street. This hotel has recycling bins in the rooms and in the halls; it’s nice they care about the environment. Good complimentary self serve breakfast: make it yourself Texas waffles, sausage, hash browns, eggs, cereal boxes, bagels, fresh fruit… but go early; I went thirty minutes before it closed one morning and nearly everything was gone. The bad: Noise. You have your typical hotel noise with people walking and talking in the halls but it’s also next to a sports bar type of restaurant. There were people talking in the parking lot late at night and motorcycles being turned on. It’s next to the freeway and you can hear constant traffic and cars racing by. Not the hotels fault just happens to be in a very good yet bad location. Despite this we slept well. If you’re going to be picky… it does seem a bit outdated, there’s a lot of cosmetic issues that are clearly noticeable but nothing that affected our stay in any way. As far as cleanness goes, one of our bed spreads had a coffee stain on it and the pull out sofa bed had food crumbs on it, everything else was clean so I can see how the other stuff could have been missed. I never saw any bugs anywhere. The sofa bed was only good for one person because it sank at the center. The complimentary WiFi was not very good, at times it did not work at all so we ended up using our cell phone service. The pool is indoors and heated but it was very outdated; it did not stop my kids from enjoying it. Overall: We were looking for a hotel that was walking distance to Six Flags for my roller coaster fanatic teens. We wanted a hotel that had a good complimentary breakfast. We also wanted an indoor heated pool for our smaller child that burns fast in the sun and gets cold easy. This suited us well. The staff was very nice and the final charge was a good value. Advice for families: Take your own toiletries, the ones offered are extremely tiny. Laundry room if I remember correctly is $ 1.50 to use each washer and dryer. Pack your own detergent, they have some for $ 4. Have breakfast early. I saw many families struggling with the waffle machine; there’s batter next to the waffle machine, you pour it on the cup and then on the waffle machine and wait for timer to go off then pull off. This hotel is very noisy; for our kids to get a good night sleep we used Youtube fan white noise on our devices at it worked like a charm.

I must start out by saying the staff were very pleasant! Other then that I have nothing good to say about this hotel. We always stay at Hilton properties my husband and I are both Diamond members. I can say this is the worse hotel stay ever. I’ve been to super 8 hotels in the 90’s better then this place. The odor of the room was horrible it smelt like mildew which maybe my husband and I woke up with allergies bothering us. The bed was very soft as was all the furniture that is not a good think as your literally sink into the furniture. The décor was obviously very old. The carpet was ripped in various areas and filthy. The chairs were all mixed match not in a trendy way and that wasn’t only in our room but the breakfast area. When I sat down for breakfast I almost went flying off my seat backwards as the chair had no cushion in it and was so low. If I wasn’t about good hygiene I wouldn’t have showered here. There were cracks in the grout as well as mildew visible. I wish I had old flip flops from my college dorm days. The toilet seat even was worn out. The location is convenient to two restaurants in walking distance which I thought was nice. Humberdinks had great food, atmosphere, staff and we were able to shoot some pool. Redneck Heaven makes Hooters look conservative. I’m not a prude in anyway but these girls serving & bartending in their underwear or skimpy bathing suits was disgusting. The drinks were super cheap and the bartenders were very generous with pouring. Food made both my husband & I sick. It’s not the hotels fault about the restaurant but I felt the need to mention it. We still have two more nights at this hotel I wish we could switch hotels unfortunately there is nothing available in the area.

Maid service is terrible. Room was dirty. Daughters bed had mud, at least we hope it’s mud, on the sheets. Toilet did not work. I had to fix myself. Totally handicap unfriendly. Front doors not even automatic. It’s a maze to get to your room. Room was large but could stand a rehab. Closet doors broken. A/c so loud it keeps you up all night. Walls so thin you hear the neighbors and traffic. Seemed nice but not. Pool is a running joke. Sad for a Hilton. I will be contacting corporate with these pictures. Then I get a note this am from the Gm asking me to leave a review and hope all is well. I told them I did leave one. Check Unilocal! You were told what was wrong. You won’t fix. Poor management!

Plenty of room for a family of 4 to stay comfortably. Room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Kitchen has all needed utensils, plates and pans. Great location near Six Flags, Cowboy stadium and Ranger ballpark. Took a star because the breakfast is kind of lacking. I’d definitely stay again :)

Booked double queen beds for four people, upon arrival told no double beds left. Arrived in the room no pillows for pull out bed, when we went down to get the pillows front desk said they didn’t have any pillows left. After arriving to our room from being out all day, we discovered little tiny ants all over the floor in the bathroom. The HVAC runs all night, we couldnt get the room to cool down, the fan noise would not shut off, very loud. The rooms are small and outdated. We stayed here last year for the Thanksgiving football game and thought we would try it again. The only advantage is that its close to the cowboys stadium. We will not stay here again.

Love staying at Homewood suites. So much as easier having a full kitchen with kids and and infant. Just perfect for my family of 6! Love having the free trolley service to the ranger stadium and hurricane harbor. Saved money on parking! Will stay here again on our next trip to Arlington.

It’s a decent Homewood Suites but here it goes: My Problems: –Rooms are smaller then expected. The only desk is in the bedroom and it’s too small to do any real work anyways. I used the kitchen table. –My HVAC died the night I checked in. They had their HVAC tech there the next day and it was fixed. It could have been done a bit sooner but I was working most of the day and not there. –It’s right next to Six Flags. Great if that is your plan but I see why the hotel is in the condition it is. Thank good it was closed for the winter while I was there. –My Breakfast counter top was cracked in half and sagged. –dinners seemed to be mostly salads… It sounds like I had a bad time but it was OK and not bad enough to complain.

Great stay. Nice King Suite room, comfortable bed, couch, flat screens in bedroom & sitting room. Kitchen with full fridge, 2 burner stove, microwave & sink. Large mirror & bathroom countertop. Plenty of drawers, closet space & hangers. Small work desk in bedroom(share desk with TV) & kitchen table. Good amount of outlets. Not the most, not the least. We don’t eat at the hotel, but near plenty of restaurants, Whole Foods, gas stations. Amazing that this place is in such good condition, considering it is right by wet & wild, six flags & family friendly. We were here off season(I don’t think the parks are open yet) & during the week. Plenty of other quiet business travelers staying this visit. Great place to stay for business.

Checked in, saw the room and checked out ten minutes later. Was on my honeymoon and had stayed at a very nice Homewood Suites in Waco, but I should have paid more attention to the photos. The suite was nice, but the furniture was really dated and there was hardly anywhere to put a suitcase. It felt small and smelled old. Fine for business travelers or small families, but wasn’t what I wanted on my honeymoon. The staff was very, very nice and allowed us to check out with no problem(mostly because we had made our reservation that morning probably).
