Great Clips

I hadn’t been here in a few years but decided to give it a try after moving back to that side of Arlington. It definitely did not disappoint! I do recommend the online check in because they were short staffed (granted it was a monday) but I was very happy with my haircut!

Brought my mother in who suffers from psoriasis. Explained to hair dressers its not contagious. Still acted so very insensitive. Took my business somewhere else.

JR is the person to see!!! He is the one mentioned in a comment below, Erasmo, he goes by JR though. I have very curly hair and visiting this great clips and had a lady cut my hair. She did a horrible job and blamed it on me telling me I didn’t tell her what I wanted. I don’t know hair terms! I did my best to tell her what I was looking for. Then I met JR and my life changed! Turns out he had cut my sister’s hair before, she has very curly hair as well, and very long! I was amazed by the cut!!! It is hard to find someone who actually knows what they are doing with curly hair! He is also really fun to talk to! Visiting him is a very pleasant experience. Now that I no longer live in Texas I always make sure to visit JR and get my hair cut while in Arlington. My whole family with curly hair also only goes to JR! Next time will upload pictures.

545 on a Sunday. Most places when you walk in 15 minutes to close they’re too busy, no new appointments, and no desire to extend themselves beyond the minimum. They not only took the appointment, but did a fantastic job meeting my criteria for a great haircut. Part one asks good questions, ask for clarification, and delivers what is requested. Part two when you show up to work the next day no one’s making smart Alec remarks about your ears being lowered. In other words, you look clean and sharp but not just like you came out of the barbershop.
The staff of three at the time were all greeting people as they came in and maintain an overall clean work environment. The hairstylist that work on me engaged and great conversation had a pleasant and professional demeanor throughout the appointment. If they can maintain this level of standard for quality of cut, reasonable price ($ 14), quality of service, and overall customer satisfaction I will definitely be a regular customer.

I still do not understand why nobody does the online check-​in at this place! I usually go to the Great Clips in Carrollton off of Belt Line. Both here and at the Arlington location I will never go without doing my online check-​in first.
My first visit to the Arlington location I checked in online and then actually arrived within ten minutes to the place. Right when I walked in I was called back to a chair and surpassed two gentlemen waiting to get their hair cuts (although I don’t think they were very happy about it).
My hair cut is fairly simple — A #4 on top, #2 on the sides and box the back. At locations like Knockouts and Sports Clips this hair cut will run me between $ 20-​$ 30 but at Great Clips it only costs $ 14! The staff is very friendly and they will all greet you when you walk in. The location is also very clean and well kept. I was in and out within 10 minutes and had a great, inexpensive hair cut. I plan on going back many times in the near future!

I’ve been getting my hair cut here for years, the mother of one of my son’s friends owned it for a long time. Since the new ownership took over a few years back, service has been inconsistent and there are often only two stylists working which can make for a long wait. Most of the staff do a decent job cutting hair but a couple of them have left mine looking somewhat butchered. I try to go there when Ashley is there, she seems to do the best job. On the plus side, they are very close to me, the prices are quite reasonable and it is always very clean inside. Just wish they could improve the staffing levels and weed out the couple there that aren’t all that good at cutting hair..
