Recommended! Cash-Only & Limited seating. The best Chinese food place to visit! Don’t do the buffet– this place might not have the looks & is kind of a hole in the wall place– But it is the best! Ordered the orange chicken & Hot/sour soup, the servings are family size so expect to share! Will be coming back– authentic Chinese food here!

This is the real deal. There are roast docs hanging in the window. It is owned and operated by a Vietnamese family. There was not much English being spoken by the guests dining here. The food was fantastic. The menu is so diverse I will need to come here many times to truly appreciate it. There are lots of exotic choices.

This used to be our go to place for Chinese food but lately I noticed the service has deteriorated. The wait staff is not friendly and they treat you like they want you outta there as soon as possible. The food has gone downhill too. But I still haven’t found one that’s better so it will have to do for now.

This is one of the better Chinese food restaurants in town. With relatively cheap prices I would recommend this place as a solid restaurant to go to especially for family style dinners. I went with a group of 10 friends and were full with 5⁄6 dishes. The main dishes I like here would be the roasted duck, BBQ pork, salt and pepper squid and orange chicken. I’ve been here multiple times and the quality of food is very consistent. Will be back any time I have a group of people that want Chinese food.

A very inexpensive and delicious chinese restaurant. The food was very tasty and decently priced. I had a half roasted duck for $ 10.95. They also had a very good wonton and duck noodle soup. Be aware they are a CASHONLY establishment.

This is my to go place for Chinese barbecue. I came again after many years to find that the rice + barbecue pork/duck is not as good. The rice was warm but the meat cold, like it was just defrosted from the fridge. Not happy :( Today I came again but ordered beef flat noodle.

This place is CASHONLY. Sorry but really? The food is excellent and in the belly of China Town, but not taking debit cards now-a-days in America is just a plain’ pain in the ass. Genuine Chinese food made by a group of real(lol).Chinese people from scratch. Everything here is different from other common Chinese food places because it’s authentic. With authentic there may be some real scary things for the regular American palate. For instance their wontons are extremely gamey/fishy tasting, however with big pieces of shrimp & pork in there. They also don’t bother taking bones or little things like heads out of dishes.. YAY lol! Otherwise, the beef flat noodle is to die for. The pork BBQ is also just delish and oh so inexpensive. 7.95 all the time, which me love long time. The interior is freshly renovated and clean with bright calm colors. No speakee much English though, so point to your order or use the number system. I love Chinese food & people so this is on my top 3 in Arlington. Arlington has the 8th largest Asian community in America(last time I checked) but it’s funny how few traditional Chinese restaurants their are. Mostly all Phở, Vietnamese, Thai. So this spot rises up to the top in terms of tasty Chinese :)! Please start taking cards for payment!

The food was good however, I couldn’t believe that I witnessed the whole thing. Apparently the elderly owner/manager was helping coworkers with filling up the wontons, I was disgusted that he didn’t even bother to care about not washing his hands before AND after making wontons. He even touched cash money and other things. Ugh so gross!!! Why can’t they just use disposable gloves!!! It’s not that hard. They need to be checked out by the food inspectors ASAP.

When I get a craving for Chinese food, my go too is the pan fried beef noodle. When done well it is fantastic combination of savory beef and chewy noodles. Unfortunately, these guys missed the mark. My food came up smelling slightly burnt and the noodles weren’t completed coated in sauce. Fortunately the food wasn’t sorched, but it definitely lacked some flavor. I’ve had this dish here before and I know they are capable of doing better, but this time just wasn’t their best showing. The Mongolian beef that my friend ordered however saved this review from being something less than 3 stars. The beef was moist, tender, well seasoned, and very generously portioned.

Yesterday I ordered to go food & it was perfect. Shrimp wonton soup, shrimp fried rice, & orange chicken. Everything tastes so much better in this part of Arlington. However I am very white & do get the stare down when I walk in with my family & the restaurant is busy. Everyone is nice & they always bring us forks which always makes me laugh. Portions are large, our family of 2 adults &3 children had leftovers. I love that this food is so great while being so cheap.

There is this place in Arlington, Texas that I have been going to for years and I can’t believe I have never written about it. I thank my Dad for introducing me to it. One of the best Chinese food joints I have been to. I wish I had one at home. I wish their air conditioning worked on hot days. I wish they took more than just cash as the only accepted form of payment. So I visited the Metroplex last month and got the chance to eat at 1st two times. Once in their original Arlington location and a second time a few days later in their more chi-chi looking Plano location. The name suggests Chinese BBQ. Funny thing is I don’t think I’ve ever ordered the BBQ when I go there. Always been the traditional dishes. So I ordered the Cha Sui pork(red BBQ sauce) this time. I liked how their sauce was a little runnier, less pasty and less intense than other places that serve this. It showcases the pork that you are eating better(sorry Wilbur). Served room temperature like it should be. A cold dish to snack on before the hot dishes come out. We also got the wonton soup like we always order. Big meaty wontons that have a mixture of pork, veggies and shrimp. You get a big bowl to share. Broth is good but not phenomenal. Forget the broth. You order this for the wontons. We got a chicken and eggplant dish. Pan fried tender chicken and small cut Chinese eggplant in a brown sauce(none of that dark brown corn starch sauce you see in most suburban Chinese restaurants) that complements but does not overpower the ingredients. Put some on your rice and even when the chicken and eggplant are gone, you will still be savoring the sauce on the rice. Only down side is it is greasy. Try to ignore the leftover oil on the plate when you get to the bottom. Next up is the combination clay pot that is kind of like a Chinese beef stew minus the beef, potatoes and carrots. What you get in their version is chicken, other animal parts, squid, deep fried tofu chunks, mushrooms, bamboo and other stuff(I really don’t remember what was all in it) that is stewed in a hot clay pot and served in heaping portions. The sauce that it comes with is another great sauce to coat your rice with. We also got some deep fried breaded shrimp. I usually avoid getting deep fried dishes at Chinese restaurants because in most cases it is not really Chinese food. We got this dish at the recommendation of the server but didn’t realize it was deep fried. It wasn’t bad at all. No nuclear sauce to coat it. You get a plate full of shrimp in a lighter tempura breading. Good but I probably wouldn’t order again. I have had many other dishes there over the years. I have not been disappointed with any of them. This is one of those places that I have to hit when I’m in town. They probably will never accept anything other than cash. I will have to make sure I have enough cash on hand.

This is my childhood restaurant tbh. It still looks how it did way back then, haha. I always order the same thing whenever I come here during evening dinner times. #402 on the menu, it’s stir fried noodles with pork bbq, onion, bean sprouts, and veggies served on a teardrop shaped plate. Faveeee! :D The serving size should be enough for 2 people to share, unless you eat a lot. Then I suggest you go Han Solo ;) There is a waitress that works here who says«Ok» really fast and she usually makes our ordering really quick and efficient. Unfortunately, she wasn’t there when I came today so we had to wait a bit longer than usual to order but that’s okay. Chinese food here is authentic, in my opinion, and comes out fairly quick. The workers also speak fluent Chinese. If you don’t like greasy food, then maybe this place isn’t for you, but I love it. Tastes delish P; It’s not even bad greasy lol. It’s kind of like the grease from pizza and burgers. Y’know? Yeh. Yeh. Yeh. Other yummy dishes here would be their wonton soup and their ducks. I’m sad they don’t have Peking duck which is one of my favorite Chinese dishes, but no matter. #402 is always worth it for me. Every. Single. Time.

Best whole roast duck in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I haven’t had roast duck this good since I left San Francisco’s China Town 5 years ago. $ 20 per duck.

Some of my FAVORITE Chinese food ever. Love it all. Never have I had a bad dish. Giving this a 3 though because service is just so incredibly awful. They do not even acknowledge your presence at all. Been coming here for over 10 years still though because the food is so superb! Get the Crispy Noodle Shrimp

Authentic Chinese food located in Arlington. We love coming here because the food is always fresh. Only thing though is that they only take cash. They always have duck and crispy pork which is always good. Their fried rice is very good and really all the items are reasonably priced including the seafood dishes. Highly recommend stopping here if you get the opportunity.

This place is typically busy. While they have tables for large parties of 8 or more, it is best to come in a smaller party so you get seated quicker. As for their food: Large portions that’s perfect for family or large party sharing. My favorites are the fried shrimp and orange beef. I’ve been here about three times and have not been disappointed.

We were meeting some friends for dinner and were promised authentic Chinese food. It didn’t disappoint. We had tofu, salt and pepper squid and a beef dish that were all very good. The waitstaff leaves something to be desired but that’s pretty typical for Chinese restaurants, IMO. Cash only!

Extremely dislike the service but the food is good and prices fitting. You know that saying«you don’t come for the service?» Well this is the poster child for that terrible justification of eating at restaurants with delicious food that causes people to forgive the service. I would give the food 4 stars but because ratings are holistic I generously gave 2 stars to account for the abysmal service. I believe the dining experience is just as important as the food you eat. Personally I never come here on my own accord but my parents wanted to eat here so that’s the reason for this visit. Now that I’ve abundantly covered off on my strong opinions about the«service» let’s get to the food. We ordered the crispy beef noodles, pork flat noodles, Peking duck and this hot stewed beef dish(not quite sure what to call it in english). I love crispy noodles and this one with beef, bok choy, carrots and delicious sauce is one of my favorites. The Peking duck here is good but this time it was ice cold(an exaggeration I know) and when asked to heat it up the waitress reluctantly did so. The stewed beef is one that I don’t particularly like because of the way it’s seasoned but this dish includes tofu and a variety of veggies. If you can tolerate staff that is rude, inattentive, messy/lazy with placing/bringing items to the table and annoyed with everything you say(even placing an order) then you can come here for the good food.

My family and I have been going here since way back in the day, through my high school and college years, and it has always been crispy noodles, duck, and BBQ pork. Over the years the crispy noodles haven’t changed, although I’d recommend just getting shrimp only since they’re pretty big. The seafood one has terrible quality squid and tentacles and probably only two or three pieces of shrimp. Can you even get imitation squid? I feel like that’s what they are! I’ve had better char siu pork. It comes out drenched in that red food coloring sauce, but edible. A few fatty pieces but I can manage eating around it. I like char siu anyway so it’s a must when I go here. As for the duck, I feel like the quality has decreased over the years. Either I’ve been eating healthier and I’m not used to it anymore or the duck is just too oily and bony. They look good hanging there on the counter but my last visit was yucky and too fatty. Service is as expected from a Chinese restaurant. Friendliness is extraneous, take the order and bring the food is the mantra. Still, this will be my place for crispy noodles when I’m in town. A lot of UTA folks visit here as well since it’s fairly cheap. However it is CASHONLY. I pity the fool with only a plastic card!
