Great place to go skating when they have public skate, the snack bar has great food. And the staff is great. All around fun time!

Bless them for being the only rink I could find in the whole Boston metro area that was(1) indoors on a rainy afternoon and(2) open to the public on a Thursday afternoon of school vacation. Crowded, but so what? Inexpensive, great retro music selections, sweet natured helpful staff. Like being back in High School if I had grown up in New England and played hockey. BTW, it’s now called Ed Burns Arena.

kind of cheesy, but not a bad option for ice skating. it reminds me of back in the day(think grade school) ice skating at the mall(i lived in dallas). mostly families and kids here. $ 6 to skate, $ 4 for rentals. limited public skating hours(check the website), but it happened to work out perfectly. i liked it because it wasn’t super crowded and since it’s indoors, it wasn’t freezing cold– i’m talking about you, frog pond. you don’t get the atmosphere though, so it depends on what you’re looking for.
