Really wonderful food! We had lamb Samosa, Butter chicken, and eggplant and they were all marvelously tasty. The garlic naan was perfect. We recommend that you come here once a week.

this is our go to place in clarendon as long as Indian Food is concerned! Its a nice cozy place with really authentic indian food WITHOUT a very expensive bill… A dinner for two is around $ 45 – 50. The menu is very well sorted and every section has something or the other that will surprise you for sure. The overall quality of food and the quality of service is impeccable and you will often find the owners walking around, serving food, shoulder to shoulder with the very humble and polite service staff. Yet to try their buffet and I am sure it will be as delicious as the Ala Carte. If you are around clarendon metro station and looking for a fine dining top dollar dining experience that is cost effective, quick and still very healthy and delicious, check them out!

We came here during prime dinner time and it was a full house. A table got up and we were able to quickly get seated. We ordered the Keenan samosas, butter chicken, and two different types of naan. The service and food was great.

I found this place to be sort of average. They were perfectly friendly and the food was fine, but didn’t stand out compared to other Indian restaurants in the area. I rank everything against Indaroma, and Delhi Club’s butter chicken was a little sweet in comparison. I will say it’s really nice to have a non-fancy, non-chain type restaurant in the area, so I will go back if I’m in Clarendon and wanting Indian.

Good little Indian restaurant. 14 tables that could seat about 50 people. I ordered the butter chicken and it was pretty good, a little tomatoey, and a little light on chicken, but tasty. I also had the regular nan and it came out hot and fresh! Also, the original serving of rice was small but they will bring you more no charge.

Delhi Club is an Indian restaurant RIGHT next to the Clarendon Metro. My dad came over and I wanted to go somewhere close. Delhi Club has good Unilocal reviews, so why not? My dad eats early, so we got to Delhi Club at 4:45pm and the restaurant opens at 5pm, so we waited outside near an open space at the Clarendon Metro. We were the first dinner customers of the night. The restaurant is pretty small, but there are maybe a dozen or so tables. The décor is very(stereo)typical Indian colors and fabrics. What we got: — Mattar paneer, $ 12 — Mango lassi, $ 3.50 — Chicken tikka, $ 13.50 — Garlic naan, $ 2.95 What we thought I love matar paneer, which is a north Indian dish with big green peas and Indian-style cheese in a tomato sauce. I ate plenty of it during my trip to India this year. Many NOVA/DC restaurants don’t serve this, such as Rasika, Le Merch, etc, so I was happy to find it here. The dish was really good — creamy and a lot of peas. Just how I like it! However, it doesn’t beat the dishes I had in India, but I know that’s really difficult. The mango lassi was awesome. I’m not sure how they make it though. I want to ask them when I go back. I’m curious if it’s fresh mangos or not, or if they use mango flavoring. The garlic naan was nice, but small. It comes in four small pieces — my dad and I shared the bread, but it would have been better to have two orders, if you are hungry. Delhi Club is a good place for Indian food. I want to come back and try more!

Typical Indian options but I truly enjoyed the entrees we decided on! We were in the Clarendon area and trying to choose where to dine for a weekend night dinner, and we decided on Indian-and I’m glad we did! We decided to forgo appetizers and move right to dinner. We ordered the garlic naan, the paneer mahkni, and the chicken Chettinad. Prices were quite reasonable and we shared the two entrees happily. The paneer had a TON of cheese cubes while the chicken dish had considerably less chicken. Both dishes, though, were amazingly flavored! I loved how after we were finished with the served rice, the naan, easily mopped up the remaining sauce! If I’m ever feeling my Indian food craving and find myself in this area, I will surely stop back in for a bite! I also had a glass of Pinot and it was $ 6.50 and a rather large portion so I was impressed with that too. I’m looking forward to returning and indulging in the samosas and other curry specialties!

This is my go-to place for Indian food in Arlington. The staff are wonderfully friendly to families with children. Our daughter usually gets a mini mango Lassi on the house when we arrive, which helps tame the hunger. Chicken chettinad is our favorite, along with the lamb chops.

Food– Very good. Loved the tandoori chicken. A must have. The butter chicken and shrimp curry was also very good. I food has a very good taste is not very oily as in a few other restaurants. The nan breads are also very soft. I loved the food here. The chat papari and samosa were average. Menu– has a lot of options for everyone like any other Indian restaurant. Ambience/restaurant style– it’s at a very nice location close to the metro and located at a street turn, you cannot miss it. The service was good. The food came in quick. Overall– Definitely will come back. Great food!

I find that it is easy to find bad Indian food, and really hard to find outstanding Indian food because so many places are good. This is one of the good places. Ate here with my daughter for dinner on a weeknight. Daughter has friends who come from far away to eat here, so we had to try it. We ate vegetarian only, and all was good. Small place, maybe 20 tables, and good service. Food was solid, I would return.

This review is for the lunch buffet only. At $ 10 bucks for lunch, this is a delicious low cost indian meal. I find the food reasonably authentic. A lot of your standard indian buffet items including your paneers, dal, tandoori chicken etc. They also have lamb which is a nice addition. butter chicken is a bit dry in my opinion. i don’t recall samosas for the buffet. Service is good and they bring you fresh naan. I’ve been here at least a half dozen times for lunch. Enough patrons come such that the turnover of dishes is high ensuring fresh selection.

For the lunch buffet. They’ve re-opened for Mondays, and for May the lunch buffet is ½ price on Mondays. A decent selection of protein and vegetables, some of the items had a nice mild kick. They bring naan, and I saw one guy getting a 2nd helping of that too. The people there are friendly, helpful and accommodating. Nothing fancy in terms of décor, layout or food, but quite nice for what it is. I don’t eat Indian that often, but think I’ll be back from time to time.

Best Indian food. I easily crave Delhi Club’s butter chicken at least once a week. It’s amazing. I hadn’t been an Indian food fan but I was introduced to butter chicken at this place and it’s changed my perspective completely. Other good options are the Lamb Rogan Josh and Lamb Biryani. The buffet lunch is every day and is worth it. I have ordered pick-up multiple times and always ask for the samosa chaat but they will not allow that to be a pick up item as the steam in the box will make it soggy. It’s disappointing but I really commend them for their commitment to the quality of the food.

I actually give this place 4 star only based on trying their appetizers, and service. Next time, I’ll try a dish and see if I was right. The wings were the star of appetizers. We also shared Samosa Chat and Spinach Pakoda. Chat Papri was the least favorite dish. it didn’t taste fresh and was chewy. The Really tender and juicy and well spiced. The manager and server were really nice and helpful in recommending dishes and we did not wait too long to have the appetizers. The prices are reasonable and I will go back again to try the main dishes.

Decent food, been here once over the summer since it’s across the street from my friend’s place. Indoor and outdoor seating. Food was mediocre, nothing i would feel very excited about but wasn’t bad either. We had Paneer Makhni, Aloo Gobhi and Kishmiri Naan, the naan wasn’t very warm and the curries didn’t seem too flavorful either. Might give them another try, food at most restaurants is always inconsistent, perhaps the chef was having a off day.

This place deserves the high praise that it gets. My person Indian-food expert(he’s from the UK where all they eat is Indian) swears by this place and they know him and his order by name. He got me hooked on the tikka masala(not sure if it’s actually on the menu) and I haven’t looked back at the butter chicken since. Forget carb-watching because you will need some rice and naan to soak this delicious sauce up with. Also, in theory, the giant servings will cover at least three meals. But if you are like me you will lick the plate. However, if you do practice good self control order the chicken tikka — comes on a bed of salad and deliciously Kabob’ed to perfection. Side note: actual Indians eat here too. So you know it’s damn good!

Spinach Pakoda $ 4(3⁄5 NOMs) Crunchies munchies dipping. Its the little batter fried balls of spinach, onion and potatoes. its an interesting texture combination with a mix crunchy and gooshy. Predominately it consist of potatoes with spinach leaves. By it self it tasted a bit bland, but combine it with the spicy dipping sauce and its a whole new flavor. Its all about the dipping. Great way to start your Indian noming adventure.
