Customer service is horrible, spent 20 mins waiting to order cause the person at the register is on the phone. When I finally got someone to take my order, I go to pay and I can’t pay with a card cause that same person is still on the phone and the card machine they use needs a phone line. The person starts to use the card machine and says«not working» since I didn’t have cash I wasted most my lunch standing there. If they change how they are with customers or upgrade to the 21st century in technology I might go back.

I’ve been going on and off for years because the sandwiches are really good, chicken or carne. The only problem is that they sometimes don’t listen. For example, they put sauce on my sandwich when I requested sauce on the side. Be sure to check your order and make sure they prepare it properly.

Great food, but the employees are so rude here I will never go back. They sit behind the counter and say rude things about their customers in Spanish. This has happened on multiple occasions!

Love the food here; Absolutely can’t go wrong with the«Latino chicken» and the spicy sauce they have is simply amazing! Definitely worth a try if you haven’t done so.

I love peruvian chicken. While this is conveniently located less than a mile from my house, the price makes it hard to live up to it’s competitors like Pollo Rico or Super Pollo. There are still some aspects that make Crisp & Juicy an interesting option. The standouts about this Peruvian chicken location are their spicy white sauce and their prima vera rice. Most pollo shops have green and yellow sauce options. Crisp and Juicy offers a seemingly mayonnaise based white sauce that is pretty great as well as a green sauce which i think is some kind of pickled jalepeno and garlic combo. The prima vera rice is their take on spanish rice with green bean and carrot pieces throughout. While a side of prima vera rice will run you a steep $ 5, for me it’s worth it. The shop here is VERY small and the wait is always at least 15 minutes. The parking is ample but pretty much all of it is hard to actually take advantage of. All in all, Crisp & Juicy is probably my second favorite Peruvian chicken place in Arlington, tied with El Pollo Rico and second to Super Pollo in Clarendon.

The owner is such an ass. Now if you want to purchase sauce you must buy chicken. I did today even though I didn’t want any. Goodbye CJ I am moving on without you

I’ve always loved Crisp and Juicy. Used to be a restaurant near us on route 7, but no more. We have to go a little further now but it’s always worth it. The chicken is always tender and juicy and I love the flavor, and the spicy sauce is delicious. I like the salad and beans. You cannot beat this place for a quick dinner. Yummy! They never disappoint.

Located at the end of the strip mall on the corner of where N. Woodrow St. and Lee HWY meet, this Zagat rated chicken place is the real deal. Weather you come for lunch or dinner you won’t be disappointed. You can grab a chicken platter with two sides for $ 8.91! You get plenty of food and best of all it’s delicious! I am lucky enough to work less than a mile away from this restaurant so I am glad to have discovered it as I will make many trips here.

I had the Mexican chicken sandwich and the horchata. The sandwich was delicious and the horchata was very good as well, though sweeter than I’m used to! Definitely a great place to go!

the food is good but the service is awful. I’ve been 3 times. The first time was great. The second time was ok, they were out of plantains. The 3rd time they were out of plantains(again), Cesar salad and fries. When I asked what sides they did still have since the three I chose were out someone in the background spoke in Spanish to the cashier and asked what my problem was. I’m never going back because of that alone. Super Pollo might be further from my house, but I’ve never been treated as I was at Crisp & Juicy. Plus I like their spinach, and that’s not even an option at Crisp & Juicy.

staff wasn’t friendly. went on a sunday. not busy but had to wait for food and there isnt any space to wait. some food seemed precooked. had to basically beg for items like napkins and a cup for water. not sure how this restaurant stays in business. with all of the other options i dont think i will ever come back here.

This is my favorite Peruvian chicken spot in all of Arlington. With rivals like Caribbean Grill, El Pollo Rico, and Super Pollo, this one always takes the cake for honestly one reason: their hot sauce. I have, embarrassingly enough, bought tubs of this Peruvian Pepper sauce. It’s just so good, and that’s why I keep coming back. Otherwise, I probably would rate this a lot lower. The chicken is tasty, but inconsistent. One day it will be moist and juicy, and another it will be dry and charred. The customer service drives me insane. They are never welcoming, and usually short with you. I feel as if I’m an inconvenience whenever I come in. Because of this, I would go out of my way to go to their other location on route 7 to avoid the evil eye. Unfortunately, this location recently closed. The prices continue to rise as well. Maybe 3 years ago, I remember the prices being at least $ 1 cheaper. And every time I go in I feel like it’s 10 cents more than my previous visit. The layout of the restaurant is also awkward. There’s limited space for more than say, 6 customers, including a line. There is a separate space for outdoor seating, but it’s usually cluttered as a makeshift storage space, and definitely not insulated for any type of comfortable temperature. All in all, food is worth it, but is the hassle? Up to you.

This was my first foray into Peruvian chicken and it’s a worthy stop if you’re in the area. It’s not the healthiest food but my go-to is the aloha chicken sandwich with a side of fried plantains. The flan is also delicious and enough to share.

DELICIOUS chicken, great choice of sides, reasonable prices. I would highly recommend their to-go service. It was hot as he$$ in the place, a dead bug was hanging from the counter molding where you order, so only 3 stars since they post as a restaurant. I would not eat there and expect a restaurant service.

I was worried since the last few recent reviews were meh, but we were in the area(and we never are) and had been wanting to try this place forever so we figured what the hell. The chicken was moist and flavorful, though what gives Super Pollo the edge is their sauces. You get 2 sauces but will be charged for more and they are good, not great. Not sure where the ‘crisp’ comes from, as others have mentioned. I saw ‘fried sweet potato’ on their menu and thought it was going to be something different, but it turned out to be just sweet potato fries.

Peruvian chicken and yucca are delicious! The rest of the sides are underwhelming and pretty greasy… They also charge like 50 cents for extra sauces. Lame! I’d still eat here though from time to time because it is all about that Peruvian chicken ;)

This review is based completely on the service of crispy and juicy. Not to argue that the food here is great most of the time. I come to this place frequently but they refuse to make or sell anything other than chicken an hour before they close. According to the cashier french fries don’t include sauce which is very inconvenient when you pay by card. Sometimes i don’t have change to pay for sauce if thats the case no need to give attitude about it. Their«covered patio» might as well double as a freezer since they never turn on or refuse to turn on the heater. So space is very limited.

I like this place. Not a huge fan of the counter service though. They have consistently good chicken, at a really great price point and portion. The chicken is always juicy and flavorful, although one might argue against the crisp part. I’m not a big skin person anyway. The spicy sauce is legit. The rice and beans are subpar, as is potato salad and coleslaw. The fried yuca is on point. Additionally, I’ve tried the chorizo sandwich. It is kind of bland(for chorizo), but it is only 5 bucks. The bad is the counter service. They definitely prioritize certain customers over others. I’m not sure if it is a familiarity thing or something else. But it stinks to be told that there is no more yuca, and the lady behind you(who didn’t call ahead), gets two large orders. If it hadn’t been done right in front of my face, maybe I would have been so mad. This place would easily be 4 stars(for a carry out) if the counter wasn’t terrible. Some stuff comes up short, but there is a reason this place usually has a line. P. S. I’m aware that the Spanish word for yuca is «yuca». You aren’t exactly pulling a fast one.

Crisp and Juicy is uh, not so crisp and not so juicy. What a blah experience. Service first of all is horrendous. Somehow this fast food joint is snooty, and the staff is rude and ignores you. Ordered the Latino sandwich with friend plantains. The sandwich features a mayo based chipotle sauce– eh. With bland chicken, two slices of tomato, and«marinated onions»(tasted the same to me)… Nothing I couldn’t have made at home, and made better. The fried plantains were soggy and saccharine sweet. I spit mine out. Whomp whomp. Mom ordered the chicken Caesar salad. While lettuce was super fresh, the dressing as well was blah and the chicken again, was dry. We won’t be back.
