Little pricey. Burgers were good. Fries nothing special. Salad with chicken decent. Grilled chicken sandwich was pretty good. Was expecting more on the menu because it is a café but burgers, dogs, salads & chicken fried.

I have several Chapp’s locations in close proximity to my house and I periodically stop in for snacks(their delicious fried mushrooms with ranch dipping sauce, cheese fries and pies) but I wanted to finally give their burgers a try. We called our order in and it was ready on time, around 10−15mins. My bag/food was still hot. The service was pleasant and with a smile. My husband ordered the Chapp’s Cheeseburger(½lb burger) and an order of fries, I ordered the Mini Chapp’s(¼lb burger) that came with fries. Our meal came out to $ 15 bucks and I certainly like that! The food was hot and made just as we ordered. I especially like that they had a wheat bun option. The burger meat was the same size as the bun(I’m not pleased when the meat size is smaller than the size of the bread b/c it make me feel like I got cheated) was well seasoned. The only drawback I would say is that I ordered cheddar cheese on my burger and the cheese was finely shredded vs a slice of cheese but it sure didn’t stop the taste from being good! We both enjoyed the burgers and will visit Chapp’s again.

The lady that own’s the business is very rude. The burger was only good the first time I went to this location, but the last 2 times the taste has been inconsistent and bland. When I went there to order a burger, the owner was wiping down some tables in an empty restaurant as I stood at the counter waiting for someone to assist me. I stood at the counter for awhile before she addressed me and inquired if I was ready to order. I replied yes. Then she said give me a few minutes and she continued to wipe down every dirty table in the restaurant again as I waited in the empty restaurant for her to come to the register and take my order. She acted like she didn’t need my business. When she finally walked over after 10 minutes to place my order in her empty restaurant, after I watched her wipe down every table, she was rude when I asked her if she had placed the ranch i requested in the bag. I don’t know if she was having a bad day, but she had an extremely nasty attitude with bad customer service and I haven’t really eaten here since. There’s no point when I don’t like this locations burgers or the owner’s attitude. I wanted to complain to management, but I found out she was management. So that would be pointless.

I LOVE the food here. The burgers are great! My favorites are the fried mushrooms and fried mozzarella sticks. Service is always friendly and quick. I almost always call ahead and pick up to eat at home.

1st time here. I like this place. It’s comfort food. I couldn’t think of any thing else but one of my usual to eat. BURGER. I said to myself– self eat at least at a different spot. So I Unilocaled and saw that this place was kind of close to where I was. GPS myself here and got exactly what I had last night for dinner and warmed up for breakfast.(Hot Mess but true) * It’s a casual spot with a counter to walk up to– to order and they bring your food to you. The young lady that took my order was nice. * I ordered a cheeseburger with fries that came on a bigger plate than it should have but it’s all good. I also ordered a sweet tea. They only have that in a bottle. * The food itself was good. The burger had a good taste. The bread was really good. I like toasted bread and I didn’t have to ask for it. The grilled onions was a added touch. The fries were fries– to me– but good. * They have a door to the doors of the men &ladies restroom. Thats different(Like). The dining room consists of tables and booths. It’s spaces-so you won’t feel crowded. I would come here again.

My boyfriend and I came here spontaneously, and we left highly pleased with our experience. Atmosphere: This location is in one of the more unpleasant parts of Arlington, but I did feel secure when entering the restaurant. There was a lot more space than I anticipated, with several booths and tables available. It really wasn’t anything spectacular looking, but I have seen worse from other burger chains. Service: The service was what really pushed me to give this location a 5 star rating. The employee who helped us, Erica, did an excellent job of making us feel welcome and did a great job of informing us about the menu. Since it was a spontaneous trip(and we already had groceries in the car to make ourselves dinner), we asked her for a few suggestions from the menu. Food: I ordered a mushroom and swiss chicken burger, and my boyfriend ordered the regular mushroom and swiss burger with the beef. He also ordered stuffed jalapenos. The burger itself was very good and well worth what we paid for; Erica made a very good suggestion to us, and I liked the chicken alternative. I ended up not finishing my burger because it was so big, but I loved how there was a lot of mushrooms in my burger and melted cheese to top it off. I’m not a huge fan of stuffed peppers, but my boyfriend said that they weren’t very good. I took a bite of one and they tasted bland to me, so we most likely won’t order them again. But wow, the employees here definitely earned that 5 star rating. There were so many people eating at the restaurant and my boyfriend and I were still presented with the best customer service. I highly enjoyed our visit to this Chapps.

After I had gone to the Trader’s World flea market, I stopped here for lunch. I had no idea what to expect when I turned into this parking lot but I’m glad I found this place. There was a sign in the window saying«Best burger in Tarrant county», whatever that is. So, I got a burger! It’s pretty good. I think if they salted the meat just before frying it would be GREAT. The bread is really nice — it’s a fresh roll — and they stick a little flag in it with the website of where the meat comes from. You know a burger is good if they are proud of the beef they use. I also got cheese sticks which were awesome. They came with ranch dressing which is different than the normal salsa I’m used to(at least back in Boston) but it was really good. The burger hit the spot and it’s a nice casual place for lunch. Not the healthiest place, but it’s clean and has an old-school kinda feel to it. I’d go again.

Decent burger using Nolan Ryan’s Beef( ), which I did not even know there was such a thing. The beef was very moist, though I wish I had thought to have it cooked medium. Had the burger with a side of sweet potato fries, which was very yummy(though needed a sprinkle of cinnamon and perhaps something other than ketchup for dipping). Perhaps next time I will try the Cajun fries.

They have a pretty good deal going with the Philly Cheesesteak. But in order to get the buy one get one free you have to buy a drink and fries so its not that great of a special anymore. But I must say, after trying the cajun fries i won’t eat their regualr fries anymore.

People tend to go crazy for this place. I myself find the burgers to be a little bland. I think Kincaids does a much better job. Still though you will not really leave disappointed. The burgers are big. They have a varied menu. They’re fried mushrooms are really good. I just wish the burgers left a little more flavor on the taste buds.
