Burgers and fries are perfect. Service is not bad. Prices just right. When I’m in the area and craving a bite to eat.

Chapps is a classic local spot with great food. It is nothing fancy, simply fair pricing and good food. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good burger. It gets busy from noon — 2:00 pm.

Really good burgers. Your choice of cheese and toppings. Uses Nolan Ryan meat, which is a flavorful and lean beef. Super convenient location, right off HWY360. Order at the counter. Onion rings are really good, too. For just a few bucks more than fast-food, you get a much better burger experience.

Food is good. Staff is Lazy and inattentive to detail. The restaurant is dirty and the booths are ripped and held on by duct tape. The tables are being leveled by paper towels. I recommend getting your food to go.

Burgers have Nolan Ryan beef — yummy! Chapps burgers are made to order as is anything on their menu huge menu. Great bun and fresh cut fries! My favorite is the Baby Chapps! The Baby Capps is ¼ lb. with cheese(several cheese option) and a side of fries; cheaper than fast food and far better. I’ve been coming to two of their seven locations for years. Consistently good!

I love this place, they never mess up my order and cook my burger exactly the way I like it! Medium. Highly recommend.

Some people like these burgers so I was excited to try it. i’m sad to say is a big bland burger that was nothing special. Maybe it was just the cooks on the day I went but I wouldn’t risk my money again.

We arrived at Chapps around 11:00 am, went to the counter to place an order. There was an Asian gal working. She ignored us for several minutes as we were in a hurry trying to get an order placed so a third member to our party could get a to go order. We ordered their new special and wanted to remove an item on the burger. The gal helping us said we could not remove any items on the burger… wow. Eventually, another gal said she’d fix it so we wouldn’t get the item on the burger. After all was said and done, three average burgers, slow service and an order taker with an attitude for $ 47.00. Defiantly not worth a second sad experience at this location.

I’ve really tried to like this location of Chapps, I like the others just fine. In my opinion, the service here is inexperienced and apathetic which would explain why the place has been filthy every time we went there with the crowd from the office. The food here is pretty much in line with other Chapp’s locations except this location can’t seen to serve a Big Dog with chili and cheese hot enough to even partially melt what little cheese there is on it. Even when I asked for it to be heated up(in each of the last two trips) it came out the same. Love the menu, but in my opinion, this place is just a dump because the people working there could care less about basic cleanliness or serving food at proper temps. This used to be a great place to grab lunch and it could be again with someone working there who understood the basics of restaurant cleanliness and how to serve hot food. Go a bit farther down 360 and hit the Arkansas Lane location, it is 110% better.

Burger was pure beef and juicy and their sweet potato fries were great. Definitely eating here more often.

Great place to grab a burger. They are cooked exactly to request. Juicy but not greesy. The bacon burger is my absolute favorite. I always make sure to add jalapenos to it for a little kick. If you arent a huge eater they have a junior size burger that mirrors all of their menu burgers. Its about 2⁄3 the size of the regular burger. Its a casual atmosphere but you’ll often times see people in suits stopping in for lunch. Prices are great and servce is good. Food takes a less than ten minutes to get so you can be in and out in no time. There’s plenty of parking in the huge parking lot out front. available

I was in town on business and my coworkers from the Dallas area took us to Chapps for lunch. I had the Jalapeño burger. It was delicious. Mayonnaise and Mustard, lettuce, tomato, jalapenos and Cheddar cheese. It was perfect! The meat was not greasy and it had a great flavor. The beef was from Nolan Ryan’s. I will eat here again if I ever go back to Dallas. Wish we had one in California.

I’ve eaten at several different Chapps, but it’s probably been a couple of years since I went in one. First one I went to that was close to me shut down some time ago, and with my nomadic lifestyle, there wasn’t one really near to me. That changed awhile back, and this one is between me and one of my work locations, and I was sick of eating everything else in the area, so I decided to try it out, first time for this one. Walk up to order, then sit anywhere. Plenty of parking because, honestly, this is the only occupied building in the strip it appears. Got the bacon cheeseburger, made a couple of options, and noticed they had cajun fries. First thing I asked was if the cajun fries are still fresh cut fries and the guy tells me they are. Big plus there, some places that do fresh cut still have frozen«seasoned» or cajun fries. Guy taking my order knew what he was doing, quick and easy. I’d say less than ten minutes later my food was out. Burger is huge, and cooked right. Grilled onions were good, asked for extra pickles and actually got some, instead of like some places, where they normally put four pickles, they will give you one extra. Had to take a few off even, good move for them. They use Nolan Ryan beef, who doesn’t like anything with Nolan’s name attached to it, I ask ya? Fresh cut cajun fries were seasoned good, not overly so, could have used a little more pep for me, but that’s a personal issue, and not a minus here at all. Fries were good, not greasy. Burger, fries, drink under $ 11. For what you get I don’t consider that pricey. This is what I remember the other Chapps I’ve been to are like. Good fresh burgers, huge regular size(½ pound?) smaller ¼ lb available. Other non burger stuff available but I’ve always gone in for burgers so never tried anything else. Not sure if these are franchised but they all look pretty well the same and the food has been good at every one of them I’ve eaten at.

I’ve had some solid burgers here in DFW, and while Chapps Café doesn’t quite line up with my favorites in the city: Maple & Motor: Off-Site Kitchen: they do dish up a solid burger. Star 1: How was the service and atmosphere? Chapps Café is your classic lunch spot, and from the comfortable atmosphere to the fast and friendly service, it’s tough to go wrong whether you’re dining in or grabbing a bite to go. Simply walk up to the counter, put in your order, and have a seat. Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? At $ 5.95, my burger was well under the cost of some of the other burgers I’ve enjoyed, and the size was actually a bit larger than average. Take a look at my burger and then the competition: Chapps: Hunky’s — $ 5.25: … Easy Slider — $ 7.00: … Wingfield’s — $ 8.25: … Twisted Root — $ 9.72: … Off-Site Kitchen: $ 8.17: … Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? This is good stuff from top down folks. A lightly toasted and buttery bun was truly excellent, and a good sized patty went well with generous toppings(and mustard!) It wasn’t the best burger I’ve ever had, but for under $ 6? This was excellent. As a bonus, the«cajun» fries are fresh cut and fantastic. Dual Stars Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? Simply because Off-Site Kitchen and Maple & Motor exist, I can’t quite dish out this star. However, Chapps is a great lunch stop that’s worth a few visits. No Star Granted.

Being from out of town I found Chapp’s Café to be a positive experience. Friendly staff, prompt service and good food. If back in the area I would be sure to return.

Jalapeño cheeseburger and fries for lunch. ½ pound? Really? I should had ordered the ¼ pound cheeseburger and added jalapeños. Meet was nice and juicy. Fries were WAY overcooked for my liking. I will have to remind myself to order small and try the rings next time.

This place is gooooood, I have been here numerous times. I normally eat the low-carb cheeseburger. They have a large meat lovers menu and much of the meat has been provided by Nolan Ryan.
