Good meats, good salad and sides bar, good cocktails, good service, nice atmosphere. My only gripe is if you want a good table you have to have a reservation: otherwise you get stuck in the back. Did I happen to mention all the meats are good? Try the pork rib and the beef rib too if you’ve never never had them.

Such a wide variety of salad buffet items I would go there just to eat the salad. They have a wide selection of meats and the papaya cream dessert I tried was phenomenal. We loved it so much we went there for dinner on Saturday night and returned for brunch on Sunday afternoon. Highly recommend this brazilian restaurant!

The selection was good. They have a very big salad bar with many things you can’t really find else where. Great meats! My favorite was the ribeye. Friendly staff and a great manager named wade.

Great atmosphere, service and food. The servers were attentive and made a great drink recommendation. Our plates were full through out the entire meal. The salad bar was a meal within itself. Lots of fresh gourmet choices. Loved the risotto, chicken salad, and fresh fruits. Relaxing yet classy atmosphere, we will definitely go back.

Service is always top notch! Go easy on the salad bar but don’t miss the lobster bisque! The little cheese bread puffs and fried banana that are brought to the table are the perfect complement between waves of tender meats.

Went Sunday eve. & it was surprisingly slow. Salad bar was impressive as others wrote, service was very good and then the meat never slowed down guachos from all directions until after the 9PM closing time, my wife and I were both impressed with the beef, pork, sausage chicken and even sampled the lamb as well. Everything about the meal was good, they accomadated our med. well preferences and kept our plates and glasses full, will be going back next special occasion,

Legit. Visiting Brazilians confirmed. I’ve been here numerous times now, I even had a work meeting here. They accommodated 75 of us on a Tuesday night and even let us drape off a section and bring a projector. I really like the cheese rolls they bring out when you first sit down. I could eat just those and pichana and leave happy. Im not a fan of the polenta cakes, but they bring those and fried plantains out as well. As far as the non meat part of the buffet– they have a fabulous lobster bisque and delicious Alfredo pasta — usually the only two things that I grab so I have room for meat. They have salads, cheese, prosciutto, blah, blah, blah. They have more meat selections than most of the other Brazilian steakhouses– I like options. All the beef served medium rare, most of them kept moist with butter. They will bring beef ribs out by request– you don’t get the whole Flintstone experience, they just slice off some of the meat for you. The garlic filet and pichana are my go to meats. I tap out when I start sweating.

Food for days! We received excellent service the day after Christmas and our server was extremely knowledgeable of the wines, desserts, and various dishes they had to offer. From the meats, I favored the picanha and picanha com alho(garlicky and tender) the most. Their«salad» bar is extensive with various types of raw and cooked vegetables, cheeses, seafood, cured meats, and soups. I loved the mushroom risotto, fresh tomatoes, and marinated artichokes!

I went to this restaurant last night on a Sunday around 7 p.m. I really enjoyed the meats they were good and juicy but the salad bar was another story it was old and dry food on it the basil was old the tuna pasta wasnt that hit either they didn’t really have much of a variety I like Texas de Brazil better with the salad bar it’s a new establishment but they were okay and I may visit again I’ll post pictures thank you for reading my review

I’m not usually a fan of red meat but oh my, this was beyond delicious! the only thing you serve yourself are side dishes, waiters come and come with meat and they slice it into your plate. Great costumer service. The lamb had a lot of flavor. Filet mignon was GREAT and tender and to be honest all of the meats were great. Brazilian lemonade had milk but it was pretty good you won’t regret it!

Within this 2015 year, I have been here about 4 times already: birthday, work, family, and more family. My mom who is a tough critic gave this place a thumbs up even when compared to an all you can eat Korean BBQ. With a variety of meats on a skewer, it’s hard to not find something you like. My surprise was the salad bar… premixed or a la carte item like portabella mushroom or caprese salad, it was amazing. Don’t forget to get the chimichurri sauce at the salad bar to dip your meat. I think the only complaint is that people are leaving too full ;). I flip the card up for ‘go’ check out this restaurant in Arlington for lunch or dinner.

Took the hubby here for his birthday dinner, and it was nice. Very quiet and elegant on the inside. The servers are attentive and we never had to ask for anything. The salad bar is amazing. So many fresh vegetables, fruits, salads, and hot dishes. The lobster bisque was excellent. It was creamy and had a great spicy kick to it. We loved the fresh meat and cheese selection as well. The caprese salad was also fresh and the basil tucked in between the layers was spot on. The cheese rolls are dangerous they are just that good. We also loved the fried polenta and bananas, but we were disappointed they weren’t plantains. We then turned out meat cards over and were greeted with so many options. The filet and flank steak were excellent, so tender and cooked at a perfect medium rare that we asked for. The filet literally melted in your mouth without chewing. However, the reason for the three stars comes from the salt. The meat was way over salted. One piece had rock salt covering it and I literally had to dispose of it. Many of the meats were so over salted I couldn’t eat them. What was a great cut of meat was ruined by salt. I love salt and for me to say this says a lot. To pay that much for meat it should be seasoned properly, and for that I probably wouldn’t go back and would stick with TDB as their meat is always excellent. Our waitress overhead us talking about it being my husbands’ birthday and they gave us a free dessert. The crème brûlée was good, needed it bit more on the caramelized top, but it was creamy and smooth. That was a great gesture on their part. Overall it was good. Not $ 100 good. I want great when I spend that much. For that reason I’ll stick to Texas De Brazil.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. Excellent service. The manager even stopped over twice to see how we were. The salad bar was beyond delish! Make sure and try the lobster bisque. I could have just had that and been happy. The lamb was cooked perfectly. But I think the favorite at the table was the Cajun beef. Although the fried bananas were a hot ticket at out table too. When we come back to Arlington, we’ll for sure eat here again.

The first time I visited Chamas was for a Unilocal event. The food was great so I was looking forward to trying them again on a «regular» night to see how they were. The short version is I think Chamas is pretty equivalent to Texas de Brazil but has the advantage of being closer and not as crowded. Here’s the score in various areas: Service — Extremely attentive. We were there on a Tuesday evening and I think there were more staff than patrons, which though not so good for the restaurant was very good for us. Drinks came quickly, meat came very quickly(before I knew it I had a huge plate of meat and had to turn my dial to «off» to catch up), there were several offers of dessert and they swapped out our dirty plates for clean as needed. Salad bar — They have a great salad bar. I try not to eat too much off the salad bar so I can save room for meat but last night I ate too much off the salad bar, though I can’t say there was anything I particularly regretted eating. The Italian meatballs and penne alfredo were really good(though not exactly Brazilian), as were the potato salads(egg version and chicken version both) and waldorf salad. Large hearts of palm and fresh artichokes, pickled beets, nom nom nom! There would be plenty here for vegetarians. Sides — They offer the standard cheesy bread, mashed potatoes & polenta. Neither my husband nor I are huge polenta fans so we had them not bring us any. The bananas are good but I prefer TdB’s. The cheese breads were perfection. I didn’t have any mashed potatoes but hubby did. Meats — My favorites were the lamb chops, leg of lamb, and what I think was the bottom sirloin. I liked the cajun ribeye but it’s definitely spicy. I actually only got a tiny piece of picanha this time but I know from past experience it’s a great cut. I wasn’t as enamored of the beef or pork ribs — the beef ribs had excellent moisture and texture but a bit too salty. The pork ribs actually had the bones kind of collapsing in there so I got a few bites of bone & marrow… not what I was looking for. But I could(and did) easily stuff myself happy on the steak and lamb. I always decline the sausage and chicken dishes as I’m not as keen on those in general so I can’t speak to how good those are. Ambience — Elegant and much quieter than TdB, except for the loud people at the table next to us. But that’s not the restaurants’ fault. I do think that they will need more business to survive, they’re in kind of a weird neighborhood for upscale cuisine, but they’re so close to home that it’s nice. Hopefully more people will give them a shot instead of going to Ft. Worth for their upscale dining.

Went to Chamas for Mother’s Day! Used the nifty little open table app for a reservation. I didn’t want to be stuck at Macaroni Grill or Mimi’s this year so I made a reservation a ahead of time. The salad bar had everything you can think of. Potato salad, egg salad, soups, artichokes, hearts of palm, cheeses, and much more. Chamas has 15 different cuts of meat. That day I was determined to try out each one. I literally tasted everything that came my way. My favorites were the garlic picanha, filet mignon, and the cajun sirloin. They gave us mashed potatoes, polenta, and fried bananas for sides. Never had polenta it was pretty good. Reminded me of a french fry. For dessert, my Grandma and I shared the flan. The flan went well with those fried bananas, my husband had a chocolate shake which was delicious, and kids shared a chocolate cake! I was stuffed. I was so full I couldn’t eat the rest of the day. I wasn’t hungry until the next day and even then I didn’t want much. All that protein! LOL The best part of it all? The manager giving my Grandma and I giving us two complimentary meals are next visit back.

Paolo the GM was great! It took a while for someone to come around and give us drinks. But we saw him walk around greeting everyone and refilling peoples water. I love it when the manager himself can do some table work. Thank you Chamas Do Brazil for opening your doors and providing wonderful food and drinks! I have never been to a Brazil restaurant, so I can’t compare them all. The meat was fantastic! How do they season and marinate them!!! So juicy and tender and delectable all throughout the meat cuts. They offered medium well-medium rare. The chicken thighs skin was crispy and the meat just fell off the bone. Salad bar was good, but I was not there to fill up on greens. The drinks! We had one each of their strawberry Brazillian cocktails(similar to a strawberry mojito). My goodness! We were feeling a little tipsy after one. They were delicious but had way too much sugar muddled in it. I had to dilute it a bit with some water and then requested less sugar for the next glass, which still came out very sweet. Everything was great, want to dry their dessert next time. Definitely makes me want to come back!!!

I asked one of my Brazilian friends what«chamas» means — it translates as «flames». What a perfect name for this restaurant, as cuts of steak and bacon-wrapped chicken were brought to our table with the perfect amount of flame-roasted char. The mouthwatering house special«picanha» in particular was juicy and perfectly done. Maybe I’m a traditionalist, but I didn’t enjoy the cross-over cajun steak as much as the traditional garlic flank steak, which was perfectly done. Some Brazilian steakhouse fans insist on skipping the salad bar and side dishes to save room for the meat. While I can somewhat understand this point of view, you are making a serious error if you don’t try at least one piece of cheese bread. Chamas nails this steakhouse staple — the bread is rich and full of cheese flavor without being overbaked. Also, don’t make the rookie mistake of passing up a bite of fried banana between courses. The service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant manager(owner?) personally stopped by our table to make sure we were enjoying our meal. The Brazilian national cocktail, the caipirinha, was well executed, with just the right blend of sugar, lime and cachaca. Try one — you won’t regret it. The salad bar was good, although not quite up to par with some of the other Brazilian steakhouses in DFW. The selection of cheeses and roasted veggies was good, but the sliced tomatoes looked pale and out-of-season, and the lobster bisque was on the salty side. Overall, though, very enjoyable meal in a nice setting.

Move over TDB, there is a new kid on the block, and they DONOT disappoint. This place was unbelievable. The service was second to none, the food right on point, but what really won me over was the personalized service our server Wesley and the GM gave us. Our cups runneth over with wonder Brazilian drinks. At most Brazilian steakhouses, when you run out of veggies or rolls, it is like pulling teeth to get more. Not this place. Everything was replaced with more anytime it was low! The price is great, salad bar was wonderful, and the cajun steak was my favorite. PLEASE plan on trying this place, you will not be sorry. They have only been around for about 7 months, but you could not tell it based on the wonderful service and food.

Once Upon a Time a dude named Paulo greeted all his guests in the simplest manner with the biggest smile and said«All you can eat and drink» so it felt like Thanksgiving in February. Tucked into Parking lot, fronting the south line of IH-20 exist a place of meat galore with wine fit for royalty and veggies that are barely cooked, I know unheard of right? Awesome. We walked in, normally gliding but this Pegacorn was a bit cold so it was more of a gallop, grabbed plates before we grabbed seats, and went to put a beat down on meat town. Starters, Sopressata is available in the anti pasta quarter of the bar, yeah that happened. Veggies are alllllllllllllllll blanched not cooked, thank goodness, no one wants limp anything. BEANSANDRICE, never thought I would be so excited about black beans and perfectly steamed rice. Yeah add arugula and chimichurri to top it and call me after, you are welcome. I like the skinny asparagus not the fat woody ones, so I passed bc these were too big for me, umm yeah. Main, I flipped my card bc I knew I was going to flip my lid. House Special, Medium Rare was as Rare as they serve it. I used my fingers to pull it apart bc it was worthy of traditional dining to show appreciation by getting up in it. Proper Etiquette, whatevs. The chicken, I preferred the non bacon wrapped bc it was so freaking juicy. We dined on another cut that has the option of garlic and cajun. Flavors were delish, just prefer my meat moooooooing. Sausage, one round was less cooked than the other, so I prefer my pork not as done. However the dude at our table, he liked everything over cooked like a hockey puck so no matter what came to the table someone was delighted. Drinks, Wine Me. St Helena Rocking it I preferred the Merlot. The spice went well with this Kiss Me Red from Chili. The others at the table went with the Chupacabras. LOL Just Kidding the Caipirinhas. Just toooooo sweet for me. I am sweet enough. But they loved the lime and strawberry versions. Service, Paulo, GM. Whoop Whoop. We had Two Ladies taking care of us. I was deep in meat and the only one I remember was Angela, because well I am a little self absorbed when I am eating. Attentive Service from the entire staff. Parking is free and this place is spotless.
