First time at Café Sicillia. We arrived on a Friday evening around 8 p.m. This location was busy but only two people waiting for a table ahead of us. We were seated after about 10 minutes. Our server arrived after a few minutes with menu’s and took our drink order. When she brought our drinks and rolls she made a couple of menu suggestions an ask if we were ready to order as we were. After about 15 minutes she came and said they were really busy and appologized for the delay in getting our food. She returned a few minutes later and said there were only two people working the kitchen and they still had a lot of orders ahead of ours as they took phone orders for to go meals as well as deliverd meals to the homes. A short time later the manager visited our table and appologized for the delay and brought warm rolls. After about 40 minutes we received our food and it was really good. Chicken cooked perfectly and the pasta was great. Our server kept our drinks filled through the whole dinner. After eating, our server cleared out the dishes and said we had a free dessert because of the slow food service. In all the food and waiter was very good but it took so long to get our food I don’t know if we will return. Had the food service been better I would have given five stars.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Café Sicilia. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. My kids really enjoyed the pizza, and everyone enjoyed the bread. We will definitely come back.

We went in with a group of 9 people. One couple had been before, but the rest had not. Fairly typical pizza/pasta place with a familiar menu. A lot of the same menu items prepared similarly to Nomi’s in Arlington. This place is a little more formally decorated than the aforementioned place. The service was great for our largish group. Everyone was pleased with their choices. The baked pastas were all generously portioned, the salads were crisp & fresh and the bread was great. My wife and I agreed that it should become a regular spot for us — close to home and with a lot of choices we like. We need to return and try a variety. The service was great, the prices were good and we were treated to a nice evening out with friends!

Delicious food, great service, cozy atmosphere. .what else can you ask for… oh, byob! I had the chicken rollotini and my boyfriend had the shrimp alfredo. Both amazing homecooked flavor. The bread they serve is warm and taste like its from scratch. If you want a super friendly competent server just ask for Aurora she was right on the money! This may be our new Italian/Sicilian spot!

This place is just around the corner from my place and its been on my list to try since they opened. So today was the day. Went in after church and there was not a huge lunch crowd. They had a pretty good lunch special, reasonably priced, good sizes portion, a salad and a drink. The service was good. They were very sweet and personable. The food was ok. I ordered the chicken parm and the chicken did not seem like it was freshly fried. So i didn’t each much of the chicken. The pasta and red sauce was ok. I may give them another try and order something different.

Thought this place was going to be good due to the reviews in here but I was sadly mistaken. I got the sea food fettuccine and assumed that the crab would be real since the meal was $ 13.25 but alas it was not. Imitation crab, I wish I knew that before paying, I would have just went to red lobster and paid 75 cents more for the real crab. Pasta wasn’t that great either, nothing special. Wouldn’t go back.

Been going to the Bedford location for years. Was so excited to see this location open up near my dad’s house. Love this place! The food is very reasonably priced, and you get so much more than your money’s worth. Great atmosphere, very cozy but not crowded, very cute décor. Everything is delicious, you really can’t go wrong. Their garlic knots are INCREDIBLE, their tiramisu is to die for, and their rigatoni vodka is a must-try item. The pizza is delicious, too. BYOB!

After reading several reviews on Unilocal praising this place for its wonderful dishes, sauces, bread, and desserts I was convinced to give it a shot. I was informed by reading some other reviews that Café Sicilia had a groupon so I thought oh cool cheap way to try the food. So I went on groupon and bought one for $ 10 for $ 18 dollars worth of food. So I set off for Café Sicilia running solo. I arrived at 8:15 — 8:30pm so it was fairly dead, apparently the dinner rush had cleared. I was greeted by a really sweet lady at the front counter and she showed me over to a booth. I sat down and started looking over the menu. I had remembered reading that the seafood dish with Alfredo sauce or pink sauce was delicious according to a fellow Unilocaler. So I decided to try it. Seeing as I had $ 18 of food to order I opted to get an appetizer as well. My eye caught the crab stuffed mushrooms and decided to try them.(That’s my favorite at my normal Italian spot) I noticed that they served their mushrooms in marinara however I’m not a red sauce kind of girl. The waiter came over and I ordered a water to drink. I went ahead and ordered the mushrooms and asked if they could be served in Alfredo instead of the red sauce. He said he would have to check. He then walked three feet over to another waitress who was busy trying to clean and asked her. He came back to the table and tried to repeat what she had said. The waitress came over and explained it since he got tongue tied…(I guess he is new and nervous talking to customers) the waitress said she would tell the kitchen what to do. I went ahead and placed my order for my seafood pasta with the pink sauce. I figured if I try the Alfredo with the mushrooms and the pink sauce with the pasta I could get to try both. So I did! I sat there for a minute and the waiter brought me one roll. Wow! One roll! Then my salad(comes with the meal) came out. It was just traditional iceberg with ranch. My mushrooms arrived. 6 mushrooms to an order cooked in olive oil and a side bowl of Alfredo because they wouldn’t cook them together because the sauce would«burn»? Hmmm okay! So I would take my Mushroom on my little plate then spoon Alfredo over the top. I tried the mushroom first bite without sauce and the rest with the sauce. Let me just say this is NOTAMAZING! It’s not the best sauce ever as some have exclaimed! I was also disappointed to see that the«crab» stuffed mushrooms were fake«crab» stuffed mushrooms. I despise imitation crab sticks whatever they are. ITSNOTCRAB! So now I was dreading my seafood pasta because it was suppose to have«crab», scallops, and shrimp over fettuccine in my pink sauce. I pushed the mushrooms away after two. My meal arrived and it looked good. First glance it had plenty of sauce and looked like a huge portion. I dove in with my fork and loaded up a big bite. First impression their pink sauce is the same«Alfredo» sauce mixed with red sauce. Most pink sauces I have tried were a pink vodka sauce or a sherry wine cream pink sauce but this was red sauce mixed with Alfredo had no flavor just creamy tomato blah. The same imitation crab meat mixed all in the pasta. They did give a decent amount of scallops in the dish but they were small bay scallops that were not fresh and tasted chewy and over cooked. The shrimp I counted two in the dish were decent in size and tasted good. The noodles, well there were too many. I spent more time digging through them looking for the meat in the dish. Needless to say I didn’t finish this dish. I finished up my one roll though! The waiter came by once right before my meal was served and out of nowhere asked me if I had a teenage daughter that went to high school in mansfield, which I do not! How old do you think I am… I have a six year old not a 17 year old! AWKWARD!!! NOTTHATOLD! He then came at the end to bring my check and a to go box. He never once filled my water glass and he never offered me any more bread. He never offered the option of ordering dessert which I was going to try their tiramisu since it had rave reviews as well. Oh well they missed a sale. I boxed up the meal so my fiancé could try it the next day since he had never eaten there either. I paid the check and left. The next day when he tried it he said it was not a real Italian sauce because when you try to reheat an Alfredo the sauce will separate the butter and the cream. It doesn’t reheat well and the sauce will get hard in the refrigerator. These sauces both stayed liquidy. Reheated just fine in the microwave so they weren’t made with butter and cream like I’m used to. Overall Unilocalers led me astray on this one. Will definitely return back to my regular Italian joint with open arms.*** side note a review said they give you rolls to take home with your leftovers., that doesn’t happen with every customer…, I was only allowed one roll… I love bread and that’s a good way to get on my bad side is to be stingy with BREAD! I’m through ranting now!

Ordered Chicken Rollatini and it was brought out to me on a cold dish! I bring this to my servers attention and she tells me it’s because we don’t want you to burn yourself. I’m thinking-is she an idiot or what. My daughter had cold lasagna. I won’t return. We were the only people in the restaurant. I understand why, flavorless cold food.

Great, cheese smothered and saucy Italian food with a unique outdoor-indoor design. A bit understaffed and hectic on this particular night… last time wasn’t so, but they seem to have become more popular and hence busier. One of few repeat date night locations for my wife and I.

Two words: Nutella cheesecake. Is it bad that I licked the plate clean? It’s not on the regular menu, but the server said they usually have some around.

In Arlington it’s a little difficult to find good Italian food that isn’t made in a corner pizza place or a super expansive restaurant. Sometimes you just want close, decent and cheap. A good in-between place, that will serve you like a restaurant but have prices that brings joy into your eyes. Now I came in during Lunch time my first visit. It was empty, but the services was great. The prices were good for lunch. The bread and soup was awesome, my favorite part. Of course, you can have unlimited amounts. The food was honestly good enough for the amount I paid. It wasn’t 5 stars but it wasn’t terrible either. It tasted like home cooking would. Not bad. Overall: For those whom live in Arlington and are looking for a decent place to have lunch, this place is a good one.

I found this little place here on Unilocal and I realized I’ve been driving by this place for so long. ITSWONDERFUL! I started out with the little starter fluffy garlic bread, got a bowl of this bean pasta soup which was delicious and even better with the bread dipped in! My entrée was Flounder Florentine, and I was NOT disappointed. It was drenched in their creamy spinach Alfredo sauce which didn’t over power the mozzarella covered slices of tomato and flounder. The flounder was cooked so nicely it delicately fell apart with every bite.(Just ate my leftovers and it was just as satisfying as I first ate it) I constantly got my water refilled. The staff was super sweet and attended to all of our needs. The place is set up beautifully with different sections and the bathroom was super clean. They even sang happy birthday to my friend and gave her a chocolate cannoli. I can honestly say, they have given me hope again. I will be going back!(: (If you had a bad experience, you probably picked an average dish and had an average attitude to begin with!!!)

Found this place with Unilocal, and then found a Groupon to go along with it. Score! Ok, this place LOOKS like a casual dining place in a strip mall, but the food far surpasses the image as you walk up. They first gave us some of the most fabulous, homemade garlic rolls! Huge, fresh, and delicious! My Mom and I each had the seafood fettuccine, one with alfredo, one with pink sauce($ 13.25). Both were fabulous, but I actually liked her pink sauce version so much that I ordered that version the second time we went(a week later). The BF got baked manicotti($ 8.25) Amazing!!! Their marinara is so yummy! When we went back, he got the veal parm, and while someone previously reviewed it and hated it, we all had bites and we all were SO in love with it. Delicious! Great prices. Great service. Cute little place. Casual, friendly. Also, as they brought our to go boxes, they also brought a bag of rolls to go! They also have a little frequent flyer card for those of us who have to go back over and over. Should fill that puppy up in no time!

From all the good reviews on Unilocal, you would think that the food is good! No… Unilocal had let us down. Everyone liked their food, but I don’t think they know what good food is. That or they didn’t want to disappoint the birthday girl because she chose the restaurant and had never been there. It wasn’t all bad though! The bread was probably the tastiest thing they have to offer at the restaurant. Very tasty, soft, and it was just damn good all the way around. Their salad was as bland as could be. I wanted Italian dressing, but they didn’t have that as an option! What?! I had the tossed salad with country dressing because the waitress said that it was similar to Italian dressing. Oh my god, no! No, no, no! It was so bland. Tasteless. Bleh! I had to order a side of ranch so I could actually eat it. How can you screw up salad? I ordered the Chicken Marsala for dinner. Super oily! I’ve made Chicken Marsala before and I’m pretty sure it isn’t supposed to be that oily in the sauce! The flavor wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. I would definitely not go back for that. I had a taste of my friend’s lobster ravioli in pink sauce(creamy white sauce mixed with tomato sauce) and it was decent. It tasted the same as the Buitoni ravioli you get from Walmart/Target/Kroger. Nothing special. I would have bought myself Buitoni ravioli and save myself the $ 9 difference. To finish, we got a cannoli and key lime pie for dessert. Pass on both. They were meh. Everyone at the table didn’t like the key lime pie because they thought it was too tart. I, personally, love tart desserts, but I didn’t care too much for that. Cannoli was just awful to me; HOWEVER, I’ve never had cannoli before, so it could actually be good to someone else! Service was mediocre. Our waitress was very, very patient and attentive! The best part of our dinner was the wine, and that was because we brought it.

Came here on a recommendation and I was pleasantly surprised. The menu, pricing and service is pretty much exactly like all the other Italian/Pizza joints around but Sicilia has 2 things going for it: Taste Décor My litmus test for any pizza is simple — order a large, plain cheese pie. These guys passed that test. It had ton of cheese, a very well-seasoned sauce an the crust was not thick, had a slight crunch and a great flavor.(5 demerits however for cooking on a screen instead of directly on the stone) The décor demonstrates 2 things — someone knows how to decorate and someone isn’t afraid to spend money. They’ve done a great job of expressing the ambiance of an Italian Café as I would imagine it(having never been to Italy) The restaurant is in a strip mall on the NE corner of Matlock and Harris. They’re BYOB as well. I’m looking forward to going back.
