All 4 meals toast was cold. Never asked once for refills on drinks or coffee. Hashbrown were raw & cold. Omelet was cold.

Reasonably priced, decent food, terrible service. The service at this location is horrendous. You walk in and you’re left to wait for the hostess. We have waited as long as 15 minutes just to be seated, and that was with plenty of empty tables in the dining area. Very rarely does a waitress even acknowledge your presence or your wait, although they are constantly walking in and out of the drink station next to the waiting area. One time we were left waiting to be seated for several minutes because the hostess and another female employee decided to start up a personal conversation about two feet from where we were seated, waiting, We were clearly within their line of sight, but they felt their conversation was more important. I was livid and would have walked out of the restaurant had I been the one driving. The waitresses here are awful as well. One time, my boyfriend drained a glass of Mountain Dew almost as soon as he got it. Our waitress never came back to check in on us or even so much as walked in our direction. He had to wait until our food was served, and the food takes a long time to get to you too! On another occasion, a different waitress asked me if I wanted soup or salad so I asked her what the soup was and she couldn’t tell me and didn’t even to offer to check. Okay, I guess I’ll have a salad! On this same trip, when I told her what I wanted, I said I wanted the fried chicken dinner. That is how it’s written out on the menu and I gestured at the picture when I ordered. After waiting a good 25 – 30 minutes for our food, she brings me out a chicken fried steak. My boyfriend was done with his dinner by the time my corrected order was brought out to me. The chicken fried steak was cheaper than the fried chicken and to make up for it she didn’t correct the price, but I would have rather gotten what I asked for and paid that price for it. Mistakes happen but due to the regular bad service I receive here, I have absolutely no patience for this type of thing at this establishment. As far as the food, the fried chicken is *too* fried. The skin is crunchy and the meat is very greasy. I’ve ordered it twice so I believe that to be the norm. That being said, this is one of only a handful or restaurants where you can get chicken and mashed potatoes and gravy, which is one of my favorite dishes. I’ve also tried the cheese sticks — those are excellent, and almost on par with Red Robin if I may be so bold! And their breakfasts are great. I never enjoyed eating breakfast at restaurants until I tried breakfast at a Buzz Inn. They work with you on substitutions as well which I appreciate. But the consistently awful service ruins my dining experience every time. We eat here out of convenience more than anything, and I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone as anything more than that. Dine at your own risk.

Ok I like this place. It’s for great food, great atmosphere and drinks. They have great fries and drinks. …just don’t expect a gourmet meal

For all the years I’ve lived in the PNW I’ve never eaten at a Buzz Inn. I guess I didn’t miss much. I came here with two coworkers for a Friday lunch, we were checking the place out as an alternative to other local restaurants we use to host visiting groups to our company. We are passing on this place. Everyone’s food was poor, and one of my associates got sick. Dark, dingy inside and lots of people have commented on the staff and clientele so I won’t belabor those points, but it’s all true. I guess it has a following because it’s always busy, not sure why.

I have been less than impressed with the service on multiple occasions. Feels like you have wait on yourself in the bar. Usually love the buzz in chains.

We stopped to get a late lunch and wasn’t disappointed. The salad was so good snd loved the ranch dressing. Our steaks were grilled perfect and tender. The food was really great but what made our dinner so special was the waitress we had .she was exceptional! Service was amazing, friendly and we will be back!!! Highly recommend this Buzz Inn location.

Food is decent. Prices are affordable. Usually the place is a mess, dirty dishes on several tables and the clear tables still have crumbs all over. A few times we’ve walked in, sat in the bar area waiting for service for over 20 minutes. No one ever said a word to us so we walked out and went somewhere else. There’s only a couple waitresses that are nice. Others are grumpy or disorganized or work like a chicken with their head cut off.

So, we saw this place while we were driving, and thought it would be nice to try something new. This place sucks! The old hag that they had as a hostess was so bitter and angry. I felt sorry for her because it looked like she was in pain while she walked, but she was so rude, my empathy faded quickly. She didn’t ask us anything or say hello. She took us to a table, and I asked if she had any booths. She said no, and I said, well that’s funny because I just saw a bunch open when we walked in. She said, no, you didn’t. Then she was like, well there might be one. They must’ve just cleaned it off. Then I said, well you just said there were none. So of course, she took us back to one of the open booths that I had seen when we walked in. Then there were also 3 open booths in the area right next to it. The only reason I gave this place two stars is because the waitress was wonderful and the prices were affordable. Other than that the food was just ok, nothing to write home about. I definitely will never go back to this place again. I think the rude, old, bitter, dyed red-headed hostess needs a job in the back of the restaurant washing dishes, nothing to do with interacting with people. Don’t waste your time, go to a much better place!

We were in the area and wanted to go to a nearby place with a bar and sports on TV. In an attempt to go somewhere we’ve never tried, we agreed upon Buzz. We went to the bar area where there are multiple tables and two bars. There was 4 people in that area, yet every single table and bar seat had dirty dishes, glasses and plates of half eaten food. As we wondered around staring, the 3 waitresses behind the bar ignored us. It was clear we were looking for a place to seat. They should have been embarrassed. We left. There’s no way I will eat in a place that doesn’t have a wait staff that works hard to keep the tables clean, not mention doesn’t acknowledge you when you walk in. They were not busy, period. It made me wonder what the kitchen looks like. We won’t be back. No matter how good the food is, if it’s dirty and the service sucks, forget it.

We were there yesterday. First time there. Nothing special. Baked Potatoes came with meal. Waited 30 minutes and they finally brought meat out. Baked Potatoes were not done, bring out soon. Another 15 minutes, came out Baked Potatoes will not be done for awhile, so substitute. Felt bad for waitress, doing everything she could. She was a very good waitress. Cook obviously not paying attention. Probably never go back.

First time in and I’m thrilled. I saw it on the street and wanted a steak so I drove in. This is not a traditional steakhouse! It has nifty social setups and hosts poker tournaments! My waitress, Jessie, was terrific and I had so much fun I ordered a drink so I wouldnt have to leave! I didnt give 5 stars for two reasons: 1. The food was ok. Not terrific. I had surf n turf dinner special and the shrimp were disaapointing — soft, oily and bland. The steak was a bit tough and needed salt, but otherwise totally edible. The german choc cake, chili, loaded potato, salad and pomegranate daquiri(!) were great! The menu is huge so there is no shortage of stuff to try! Lets be honest though, we eat out for the service and ambience otherwise we would cook at home. 2. This is a $$$ place the quality of food. I just got my check and WOW — these are top shelf restaurant prices, and they nickle and dimed me by tacking on $ 1+ for the loaded part of the potato? I would say I paid about 25% more than I shoud have. I still recommend it, but WATCHHOWYOUORDER!

Wasn’t expecting much as stopped in on the way to seeing tulips in Mt. Vernon, and on account some poor reviews. We were however pleasantly surprised — the boneless ribeye steak I ordered was perfectly cooked to medium rare as requested, and had just the right amount of char on the outside to make the steak extra flavorful. It came with au jus which exceptionally enhanced the taste of the steak… The cut also proved to be very tender. The side of fries was wonderfully crispy as well. Had a bowl of chili which was scrumptious as well. Clam chowder and side salad were nothing too special. Nice casual local spot, friendly efficient service, and you order first up at the counter. It’s a pretty good option if your headed up or down the 5 freeway — don’t know how the rest of the menu pans out(lots of breakfast selection), but added one star just for the flavorful steak.

Not sure what other people are complaining about! Excellent food the prices are reasonable and so gar we’ve been here 3 times now and have had wonderful experiences. Not sure if the other reviews are a joke or what. I’m definitely going to continue to eat here dispite what I have read.

Very big portion, service was decent. Not tipping worthy at all. Had the country benidict, wish the biscuit was a little bigger and a little bit less egg. had to get up to get my own napkins and coffee. I thought it was a regular sit down restaurant. Would I go there again? Probly not, but the biscuit was really good.

This review is based on awesome customer service, variety of food & beer/drink selection, and quality of food(relatively speaking). Passing through and despite the low Unilocal reviews decided to stop in. We had no regrets. Sat at the bar and was waited on promptly by bartender Mat who provided honest and helpful suggestions on food and libations. He was very attentive, checked in frequently and kept our glasses full. We ordered fish(cod, 3 per order) & chips, Tacos(pork) for $ 1 Tuesday was better than most, and the basic burger with bacon and cheese(special of the day buy 1 get one 1 free!). The Bloody Mary and Strawberry punch were delish and the beer selection was awesome — Irish Death, Manny’s, Mac & Jack to name a few favs. I’d definitely return!

Well… I can’t say I’m surprised. It was pretty much what I expected. We came here after I ran the Oso Strong 5k which was held directly across the street. I had never wanted to visit a Buzz Inn and I should have stuck with that, but my husband talked me into it. Nothing was wrong, really. Other than the wretchedly long line to place our order and then the horribly long time for our food to arrive(we do have 6 in our party which does slow it down, but still). The candy and toy vending machines in the dining area was a type of ambiance I didn’t care for as my kids were distracted the whole time by other kids pumping candy and toys out of them on the other side of the room. The food was mediocre. Below a Denny’s. The price was too high, IMO. I can’t imagine we’d go back for any reason.

My husband likes this place, for breakfast — but I DON’T! The food is decent, but… even in their newly remodeled building(used to be Aces Casino), the place still has a dark, dingy, dirty feel to it. It’s not particularly sticky or unsanitary, it’s just not as well dusted and vacuumed as should be for a dining establishment. I have no idea who works in the kitchen, but I can imagine… The waitresses are not the cream of the crop. They are all middle-aged women, stuck in the 80s. Think teased hair, mullets, and unsightly eyeshadow. The long, yellowed nails is what gives me the creeps. I cannot stand having my food served by someone who reeks of cigarette smoke, and has the yellow nails to prove it. Customer service is just so-so. I don’t expect much, considering it’s not a full-service restaurant. If you have not yet experienced Buzz Inn’s, you ordered up front(think fast food), get your own drink, and your food is delivered to your table. I would really like the owner to set higher expectations for the personal hygiene and appearance of the waitresses. If this area was improved, I would be inclined to try it again.
