This place serves very bland pizza that seriously tastes like cardboard. There was minimal sauce and came out of the oven cold. This is not NYC style pizza.

Yeah. It’s nothing like NYC pizza. I fell for it. True, they sell by the slice but that’s about where the similarities end. Pizza was definitely reheated… the cheese looked and tasted burnt. The crust was just floppy and forgettable.

Best NY style pizza in Arlington. The décor could be a little nicer, and you definitely want to avoid this place at 1am when the drunk rowdy Clarendon crowd floods this place and sidewalk around it. The $ 2 slices on Wednesdays is a great deal though, and they have a frequent pizza eater card.

How can you call this garbage NYC style pizza? I’m pretty forgiving but even Sbarro would kick this place’s ass.

It’s not awful, but it’s not good either. Crust is basically cardboard, and while slices are cheesy, there isn’t much flavor. There’s a variety of pizza slices to choose from. If I was drunk, it would probably be OK, but with Goody’s and Pete’s in Clarendon, and Wise Guys in Rosslyn, there’s way better pizza in the area.

Awesome in that it is quick, inexpensive, and customer service is usually great. The floor plan mergers the payment line with the bathroom line which can create moderate congestion, particularly when trying to battle the late night drunk crowds. However, this isn’t a fault of Bronx Pizza. The calzones are great, the pizza is good, and they are currently advertising a $ 2 slice all day on Wednesdays.

Eh it’s okay here, will only go whenever my friend wants to go, I don’t like it that much. The pizza is okay, and it’s like 3.50 for a slice of pizza that’s smaller than the ones they give you at Costco. It’s honestly like any other pizza you’ve had, maybe not even as good as some other pizzas that you’ve had.

Eating pizza here as we speak, super delicious and cooked to perfection. The staff is also really nice. Thumbs up!

Stopped by here to grab a quick bite. It’s just like any pizza joint, although it’s nice they have outdoor sitting. Had a pepperoni pizza slice, it was average(could have been a little more greasy, I miss my NYC pizza). The service was confused as to whether to give me the slice for stay or to go even though I said it multiple times I wanted to go. But honestly, its a pretty good for what it is, a late night or quick stop pizza joint after you’re done with partying in Clarendon area

I really like the pizza here. Ask them to leave your order in the oven a bit longer so the crust is crispier.(Unless you prefer a floppier New York style) Always a perfect spot for a snack post bar hopping in Clarendon. You can add toppings during the day when its not busy. Love the cherry peppers as an added ingredient. The sauce is tasty and light. Not too sweet like many others can be. My goto spot for a quick fix of pizza by the slice. Owners and staff are kind and friendly.

Bronx Pizza is mediocre at best. I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon at 1:30pm. The place was a ghost town, and the pizzas looked like they had been sitting there for HOURS. I was starving, so I ordered two slices — a pepperoni and a chicken carbonara. There are labels with the pizza varieties, but they are facing the employees, not the patrons, so you might have to ask what’s on a pizza… or they could always have the label facing the customer so you know what-is-what. Very odd… Two slices and a fountain soda came to $ 9.01. I made a quick comment to the employee about wishing I had a penny. No luck. Dude at the register gave me 99 cents back. They have an enormous tip jar but not a place to leave a penny/take a penny??? The pizza and the experience may be great at 2am, but not for my Saturday lunch.

Super disappointed. Came in before the late night rush for a quick bite before we meet up with friends. We ordered 3 slices of pizza, one was a chicken bacon cheese, other two were cheese in which we added mushrooms. For 3 slices and a drink, it was about $ 10. Pretty good deal. When we ordered, the employee let us know that during busy hours he wouldn’t honor the adding of toppings and that because it wasn’t busy he would do it. We thanked him. The pizza slices are small. They aren’t NYC style. Additionally, they are hard. Like super crispy like cardboard. It lacked flavor. Totally disappointed. The pizza place across the street looked busier, we made the wrong decision that night.

The pizza at Bronx Pizza is passable but to call it good NY pizza is truly disingenuous. The ingredients and style all seem to be there but it just doesn’t come together as a final product. I’ve had success in the past by asking for a slice to be cooked VERY well done. This allows the crust to actually get crispy like the NY style but it’s still missing the proper consistency. For the price of nearly $ 4 a slice, you are better off searching elsewhere. There has been a large debate as to whether Bronx or Goody’s has the better pizza. I would give Bronx the edge. However, for the best pizza, order from The Italian Store.

Lesser pizza place across the street from Goody’s. They had a lot more options for by-the-slice pizzas(I had a very meat-y one) and it was good but kind of flat and a little burned. The place was also a super mess with empty parmesan and pepper packets everywhere, misleading me to believe I could get parmesan and/or pepper somewhere. The drunk kids all spilled it :(

A cute reliable place if you want to just grab a slice on the go. Depending on who was working there may only be a small selection on to go slices. Like they will not always make you a specialty slice. So if you’re a veggie with the small appetite you may end up getting stuck with a plain cheese. As for the other fair I’ve had one of their calzones which is pretty tasty. They didn’t skimp on the filling and it wasn’t all super thick bread. I’m not a big calzone on fan but it was pretty decent. As for the desserts I wasn’t that impressed but I would definitely give them another try!

This is a great spot to get some pizza anytime. It’s not a upscale restaurant like those chains. It’s authentic and it’s mom n pop kinda place. I’ve been here quite a few times and again today. Although their food is inexpensive, who doesn’t like a good deal once in a while. Keep your eyes open for Groupon, $ 15 for $ 30 worth of food is a steal, it doesn’t get better than that. All the guys that work here are very friendly and provide excellent customer service. I’ve several different things from their menu and so far they haven’t let me down. I’m impressed. I’ve had their late night competition across the street Goody’s…not a fan at all. Not sure how they even call that a pizza. When k want pizza, i know where i will be going.

Not going to say this is incredible pizza you must try, but this place is clearly underrated. It is 100% authentic Ny style that gets the job done right if you are craving those Ny slices. Sure goodies across the street is better if you want to compare a slice to slice, but Bronx tastes like NY and they make a good effort to keep a large variety of fresh slices out all night.(service is also better here) I guess if you want a quick cheese or pepperoni goody’s is a better bet, but you have 10x more variety here at Bronx for by the slice and they’re all solid choices. This also comes with somewhere to sit down and hang out feeling like you’re in the kitchen.

I am surprised at such low reviews of Bronx’s! My husband and I had a slice of pizza at Goody’s, and we saw this located right across the street; with such a disappointing experience, we headed right on over to check this place out: P There were friendly guys behind the counter who were both professional, efficient, and cool — I had a slice of their ‘chicken in alfredo sauce’ slice, while my husband tried again with the cheese. There were also pan-crust pizzas as well as calzones. I did ask mine to take extra time in the oven to be more ‘well-done and extra crispy,’ which was not a problem. There are a good handful of seating within as well as some outside seating available. I usually stick with pepperoni pizzas, but wanted to try something new — I’m glad that I did! I actually really enjoyed my slice of pizza, as it had nice small chunks of chicken throughout as well as a nice alfredo base — plus, I liked the fact that they actually heat theirs up in the oven! With a sprinkle of chili flakes, it was a delicious meal: D My husband said his pizza was okay, better than Goody’s. I like the crispy crust, so I would highly recommend extra time in the oven. A lot of intoxicated people were coming in, so it can get a little ‘loud.’ I’d love to come back and try out their Hawaiian as well as other ‘specialty’ slices. I’m glad I checked this place out! :D +chicken alfredo slice(with chili flakes)
