When you work retail, ESPECIALLY in a mall… you must have patience.
My wife wanted to buy me some shirts and it was about 20 minutes until closing. When my wife was called up to the pay, you could see the frustration in the managers face. The manager was trying to do 5 things at once, ring up customers, manage the store, getting people to fix messed tables and trying to close the store down.
I have to admit, the store was in bad shape, some customers know how to tear up nicely folded clothes on a display table.
My recommendation, keep the manager on the sales floor like a general. She was trying to do too much and didn’t look like she was getting too much support from her team.
