These negative reviews are from people who don’t realize that authentic asian places don’t put as much value on customer service as they do on their products. I mean, my favorite restaurant, Phở Pasteur in Carrollton, is full of seemingly angered waiters… but that doesn’t stop me. Lol. Lighten up, peeps! Anywho, I think ABC is so good; my favorite things are the quail egg shu mai, tendon egg rolls, shrimp balls, and pork bun. I kept eyeing the crab fried rice, but holy cow that thing is like $ 45(worth getting if someone else is paying for your dinner ;)) I highly recommend this place if you’re craving dimsum and/or in the arlington area!

Very poor service! We were the only people in there and the waitress seemed very annoyed that we had come in at 4:45pm. She very rudely demanded our drink order. When we asked for the dim sum menu, she seemed even more irritated and brought us the menu. She practically threw the minutes in front of us, told us how to fill it out and the proceeded to ask if we still needed the regular menus still. I told her yes and she still took mine away. We filled out our selections and she came back to the table and snatched the menus away. When she was asked why she was being so rude she said«No». The question was repeated and again she said«No». She told us she didn’t understand and said the manager would be over. He came over and explained that she didn’t speak English well. We asked if there was anyone else who could wait on us and he said he could. At that point, we just decided we didn’t want our food spit in so we left. I do not recommend this place.

We came here for the dim sum, and it was alright. I’ve experienced better service and food quality. Service was off. The place wasn’t packed, but the staff seemed to rush us with everything and come off sounding snappy in the process. We weren’t all seated when they bombarded us with questions about what to eat and drink. The food was okay. The shrimp ball was mediocre and very hard on the outside when I bit into it. Fried taro was meh. They didn’t go wrong with the rice noodle with shrimp. Honestly though, everything else that I had is just average. I would come again to try some of their other dishes now that I have an idea of what their better dishes would be. But for most of the fried orders, it’s safe to say that they give off the impression of being left out for some time.

Service here is really bad. My server seemed like she could care less about her job and didn’t even bother to greet us. The food wasn’t that great. I ordered the sweet and sour shrimp and it smelled so fishy and not clean at all. I wanted to eat pecking duck but was told that they ran out and didn’t stock up. It was very hard to get our servers attention as well. Overall service was poor and so was the food. Would not come back

The foods is really good at this place! But terrible service from the waitstaffs to the owner!!! If you eat here look for the younger waitstaffs to wait for your table! They are much nicer and very accommodate! If you end up with those Asian ladies good luck to you !

It’s amazing how diverse and amazing the Chinatowns and Asian food is booming within dfw area but there’s no outstanding dimsum places. D: someone from Canada please come down here and make good dim sum ;___; anywho, this place is okay for dim sum. It’s mediocre along with maxim and pearl. I haven’t been to Kirin court. Overall good quality, better than their past years. The congee really improved, I love the shrimp ball as well. It taste fresh this time :) only complaint I have is the price. Holy cow hoe it had gone up, the cheapest dimsum dish is like $ 3.95. Some of the stuff is not worth $ 5+ for sure. It’s really expensive now. I went with just my brother and the bill was $ 65! Used to be $ 65 for my entire family of 6! Oh wells, once in a while

Always count your dishes, reciept at the end have been known to charge you extra for dishes that didn’t even exsist.

Been here multiple times but never reviewed. Awesome tasting dim sum and they never disappoint. Sometimes you have to flag down the cart ladies because they won’t come to your area but once you get your food and start eating you completely forget about the hassle of getting their attention. Love the fact that they have all day dim sum so we don’t have to rush and beat the lunch crowd. Foods are normally fresh and hot. Only had one tray that was cold in which we returned it and they gave us another without charging. Will constantly return for more dim sum week after week.

Most terrible experience ever! My family and I decided to come here to try their crab fried rice. We also ordered the orange beef ribs and the honey fried chicken. Our total came out to $ 92.66. The food was Okay but the staff were very unfriendly. When I paid out my tab I put down 0 for tip because I was planning on paying cash for my tip. You would NOT believe it but the lady at the register came to my table and was asking why I didn’t include a tip. I was so taken aback!!! I just didn’t even know what to say to her but I did explain that I was going to leave cash, she then put her hand out so I could put the cash in her hand. I then went on to say to her that she was NOT my waitress and I was not giving her any money. This was just the worst service ever!!! I still left a tip for our waitress because it wasn’t her fault. This was my first and last visit to this restaurant.

Why is really good dim sum so hard to find in Fort Worth? Well, if I’m too lazy to travel elsewhere and I have a group going, I’ll pop in here and fill that void. We order and eat too fast for me to take photos, but the favorites are always the Chinese broccoli, pork buns, and fried taro. I always go for the tripe and chicken feet. People hate on the décor. Why is it such a bad thing to travel back into the 90s? Why is simple frowned upon? I’m just happy that the restrooms weren’t filthy and food comes out hot.

I’ve been here several times. One time was for their dim sum. I ordered the shu mai, bbq pork steam bun, the dumplings, etc … Typical dim sum dishes. Their dim sum was okay. It tended to be a bit salty and not that fresh. Some tasted like they have just been microwaved. Another time I came here to eat for a family member’s birthday dinner. We ordered family style so we had a variety of dishes. We ordered the mussels, seafood combination crispy noodles, scallops, crab fried rice, orange beef ribs, chicken and shrimp stir fried noodles, duck bao, seafood soup, and a squid dish. Overall the food was decent. The crab fried rice was good but wayy overpriced. The orange beef ribs are okay… too sweet for me and with too little meat. The duck bao didn’t have any flavor. It did come with a sauce but the sauce was like a hoisin sauce and didn’t really complement the taste of the bao.

Do yourself and your tummy a favor by ordering the crab fried rice– amazingly delicious and packed with flavor(perhaps due to the copious amounts of shallots/onions/garlic cooked into the fried rice). Yes, it’s expensive but totally worth it to try something unique with your family and friends over dim sum brunch(I’ve tried different versions of crab fried rice around Houston’s Chinatown but haven’t had success in finding something equivalent to ABCs version). ABC is probably one of the better dim sum restaurants around the DFW for Sunday brunch because the plates are usually freshly made, with many carts to choose from. One of my favorites is the shu mai with a quail egg on top, which is a unique dim sum item that I don’t often see. Shrimp dumplings, steamed rice noodle roll with shrimp, BBQ buns, steamed sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf, fried shrimp balls and fried taro are the usual items in our dim sum feasts. I’m not sure I would order the braised short ribs or roast pork again as they were below average. Oh and you get extra brownie points if anyone in your group can speak Vietnamese or Chinese to the cart attendants/waitresses because it makes getting specialty items that much easier. Our drinks were always refilled and service was ok, as to be expected with any Asian restaurant.(The ladies were so much nicer and accommodating to our group after talking to them in Vietnamese). Should you find yourself in the DFW and craving dim sum, make the drive out to Arlington to ABC Seafood and don’t forget to order that incredi-mazingly delicious crab fried rice!

Dim Sum! My first experience & it was great! From dumplings to chicken feet to fried shrimp balls. The servers come by & ask what you want, they give you the dishes & mark your check. It’s like a buffet but they bring it to you instead of you serving yourself. A friend took care of the dishes that she introduced me to & everything was seriously good. My favorites, the fried shrimp balls & shrimp dumplings.

I’ve come here multiple times but my last visit was my first time on a Sunday around brunch. THISISTHETIMETOGO! They bring out fresh plates since there are many people dining at that time. Don’t get me wrong the dim sum here is always good but they just take it to the next level on Sunday’s. The ladies mainly speak Vietnamese but some of them also cover Chinese and all of them speak English to some degree. Definitely extra bonus points if you come here with a viet friend. My favorite dish here that I have not seen elsewhere is their quail egg shumai. The fried taro, BBQ buns, and chicken feet are always referred at every visit as well. Their sodas are fountain, not cans like most dimsum places. Totally worth the drive from Fort Worth every time

Had quite an interesting experience here. We originally came here to try out the infamous crab fried rice, but ended up ordering a ton of other dishes as well, which I’m very glad we did. We started off with the fried whole fish. I think we had cod? It was huge, meaty, crispy and the sauce it came with was very flavorful. Next, we had the walnut shrimp. I didn’t care too much for this as the sauce was too mayo-y. It’s hard to find good walnut shrimp because a lot of places get carried away with how much mayo they put. The candied walnuts were pretty good though. However, the serving size was pretty small for the price. Next, we had the orange beef ribs. YUM! This is definitely the first time I’ve seen orange beef… in short ribs form! It was soo crispy, the orange sauce was good and the portion size was pretty decent as well. Next came the salt & pepper squid. It wasn’t the best salt & pepper squid I’ve had but it wasn’t bad. The flavor was good, had a lil kick but the squid just wasn’t tender enough. It was also a bit too greasy for me. Next came the peking duck. I think if I haven’t had mr wok’s peking duck, I probably would’ve enjoyed this more. However. that is not the case. It doesn’t even compare to the peking duck there! The duck was a bit bland to me and the skin was just not that crispy. Lastly, we got the crab fried rice that everyone keeps talking about. It looked amazing as they sat it on our table, however upon the first bite of the rice, it was extremely salty and there aren’t even any crab pieces in the rice. It is literally just crab. The crab claws were deep fried, which made it nice and crisp, but very salty as well. We were quite disappointed with this dish. I’m very surprised at how popular this is because it wasn’t great at all. I’ve had lobster fried rice at this chinese place in garland and it is soo amazing, I was hoping this would be somewhat similar. Granted crab and lobster are not the same but at least the quality of the fried rice itself could’ve been better. Meh! Overall, I think I would come back here for the orange beef ribs and perhaps try the other dishes. Everything was pretty decent/good except for the crab fried rice.

I love this place for Chinese food! Everything on the menu is pretty good and can never go wrong. I don’t like this place for dimsum at all, next time I’ll just drive to Kirin court instead. We were being shuffled from table to table once we finally sat down on table number 3(prime spot for dimsum) no carts were coming near us! I had to chase one down to even get anything. By the time we got any food it was cold, looked stale, and had a funky taste/smell. I’ll come here for the Chinese food no questions asked. But dimsum? That’s a negative ghost rider

I’m a big lover of dim sum, so I’m always excited to try different places. There are people pushing carts around, and you just pick whatever you want. This is one of my go-to dim sum restaurants for sure! Today was SO good. Everything was flavorful and fresh. I don’t know if they changed cooks or if it was because it wasn’t as busy, but I love this new change. Definitely try it out if you’ve never had dim sum before! I recommend trying the shu mai, pork buns, and shrimp balls.

I was underwhelmed by their menu compared to other dim sum restaurants. Their service was lacking, and it made enjoying my food, less enjoyable. When I finally got food, I felt like some of it was bland & definitely doesn’t compare to other dim sum restaurants around the area. I’m okay with skipping this place if I have to.

Been here several times but it’s not one of the first Asian restaurants in the area that I consider first. Had their dim sum a few times but not my favorite of the scattered dim sum in DFW. When I came back recently with a big group of people(i.e. 20) for a graduation, we were given a hard time by the staff. This is after we made reservation a few days before and reconfirm on the actual date. I don’t understand why they gave us a difficult time because 2⁄3 of the restaurant was empty. I thought maybe more people will show up afterwards but the restaurant was still half empty by the time we were in the middle of eating. Onto the food, I did like a few dishes like crab asparagus soup and the crab fried rice. The peking duck was alright. I felt like it was lacking in favor and the buns tasted meh. We ordered like 15 different dishes and honestly, I only like the fried rice. I do prefer their dishes over A1(for wedding reception) and Thanh Thanh. The interior of this place is old. Apparently it smells too but I couldn’t smell anything. Overall, it is another option for Asian food in the area.
