if i could leave 0 stars i would! i never had problems with sally before. i have been purchasing their extensions for years and was very satisfied. this time though, i guess one hairpiece was defective because the clip would not work so i could not attach it. that is fine, i understand it happens. what drives me crazy is their manager sylvia! i called and told her, she said she will speak to customer service and call me back. she never did! it’s been a week! so unprofessional, i mean if i cant trust the manager to do their job in this store, then who??? so disapointed, i called customer care today and told them about her! never going there again, would rather go to the other one in arl. hts.

I like Sally. Sally has an excellent selection of hairbrushes, tools, hair dryers, clips, hair care products, and more. Prices are always decent and salespeople are almost always very helpful. This location is close to where I stay when I’m on vacation. I almost always forget something at home. This time it was my beloved wet brush. If you had 30″ of hair, you’d understand my affection for this brush. Sally has several versions of this brush in a variety of colors. Yippee. I was also able to stock up on some vanity items like an eye pencil sharpener(coolest purple sharpener… ever), and some hair ties. Sally to the rescue.

My hair has been getting increasingly unhealthy due to processing so I decided to stop into Sally’s to grab some high-protein shampoo and conditioner. There were so many options so I asked the sales associate if they had any with extra protein fortification. She replied with«I honestly wouldn’t be able to tell you» and walked away. Didn’t try to help or look up products or anything, just continued doing whatever she was doing. You would think employees at a beauty store would know their products, especially shampoos for goodness sake.

Now *THIS* is what all Sally Beauty Supplys should be like.(Take notes, Hoffman Estates SBS) I feel like this store either has slightly more square footage than your typical Sally, or their just hella organized which gives the feel of a ton of extra leg room. First class Sally Beauty Supply, all the way. The staff were great. They don’t pester and their positive attitudes don’t seem forced. I was kind of surprised to see 3 employees working at one time, since I’ve never seen more than 1 or 2 employees on duty at any one time in a Sally, but everyone here was busy-busy and not a hair on this Sally’s head was out of place. Everything stocked, aligned, immaculate… it was like the Sally if my dreams. Only the Tinley Park Sally Beauty Supply even comes close to comparison of cleanliness. I don’t live an area where this location is convenient enough to be my regular Sally, but I would gladly give of the additional 20 minutes each way to come here, where the employees clearly rock, appreciate their job, and know the sale items and corresponding free gifts like the back of their hands. The only sort of not great thing about this place is the strip mall is a bit run-down and it’s a b*tch to get in and out here with parking, but I can go during off hours to avoid any crazy p-lot mayhem. Freaking LOVE this location.

I have to admit that i have been to many Sally Beauty Supply’s in the area. This place, however, has the friendliest/nicest staff around. They don’t talk to you and as «do you need any help» like they’re dying from boredom. In fact they are quite chippy and all of the employees ask to help making it a pleasure. Previous sally’s have always made me feel when they ask if i need help that if i were to say yes, they would hate their life and it would be a burden on them. So in no way I would ever say yes, i do in fact need help. This place, though the outside may look a bit run down, has the best staff and if you need help i suggest going to THIS sally’s. They’re great!

I’ve been hooked on beauty supply stores since my friend Michelene turned me on to one back in the day. We used to do our own nails and individual lashes back then. Now, I’m a little more ‘organic’, but I will never stop doing things to my hair. This particular Sally’s has the most helpful staff– ever! I can spend a half hour discussing pro’s and cons of various hair products with these professionals. That means a lot to me. You can buy a membership card and you will get great discounts. I highly recommend this– it will pay for itself in one visit. Even if you don’t color your hair, they have an incredible selection of nail products– the hottest colors in nail polish– in small bottles– and affordable! They have makeup, earrings and a nice selection of body piercing paraphernalia. Don’t get me started on the body lotion…
