Sally Beauty Supply

I went in to purchase a few things that I needed and when I say that (Jen) literally followed me every where in the entire store it’s because she really did. It was very uncomfortable! If I was looking at nail polish she was right next to me pretending to organize a few things, if I went over the clearance section she would stand by the register. Every where I went she kept looking over her shoulder to find where I was. I love this place it always has exactly what I’m looking for but for the fact that (Jen) followed me as if my intentions were to steal something. I rather go to a different location or just order my stuff online than to be back in this location with (Jen) following me like a search dog!!!

Staff was very rude to me. I’m a 52 year old school teacher and they followed me around the store, reprimanded me when I unscrewed a cap to smell how a hair product smelled and actually stood over me until I left, which I did and I will not be back.

I adore this Sally Beauty Supply! They always have exactly what I need, and just enough of what I dont need (but buy anyway because really… isn’t that what you do at a cosmetics store?). I’m in here about every 3 weeks to get supplies to keep up my *cough* natural blonde color. I’ve never had any problem with a product from Sally’s. Plus, they always have a deal on nail polish. I’m not an OPI girl, so their Orly and China Glaze products keep me happy.
The employees here are the best. They’re always sure to ask me if I need help, and when I say no, they back off. I love that. They also don’t seem to mind when I double check that the prices came up correctly at check out (their system is OLD, so you can’t see prices when they’re ringing you up). There’s one girl who works here who gives off a little bit of an April Ludgate vibe, but I dont mind. She leaves me alone, I leave her alone, we’re good.
I’d definitely recommend getting a club card. It discounts everything in the store!

Omgoodness the Sally in Arlington Hts. is soooooo much better then the one in Schaumburg! The girls there are helpful and knowledgeable! I just wished I lived closer to this location!
