Like others I used a Groupon for haircut and partial highlights. KJo is really friendly and spent time figuring out what was best for my dark hair. Once the color was on and she blow dried my hair(she is just a tad rough with the hair dryer), we noticed it had a orange-ish tint. So she added toner twice. It was getting late so I left without having my hair completely dried. She said if I didn’t like it I can always come back and have more toner added. After a few days when the color started fading the orange-ness returned. So after two weeks I call the salon and asked if she could add more toner. First the owner said I would be charged $ 25 but then when I explained the situation they said I can come back for free. I went back and she added more toner. Now I LOVE the color! Its a beautiful caramel w/red-ish undertones. There was another girl who works there that helped KJo perfect the color. Overall, she did a great job and was very patient with my hair. Glad I went here!

So thrilled with my recent cut, color, and blow dry with Kim. She is an expert with color! I don’t trust anybody else. She’s so talented and has great instincts, while always listening to what the client wants. The atmosphere in the salon is fun and relaxed. Kim is flexible and timely with appointments and always does an amazing job. My hubby and kids love her, too! 5 star service at an extremely reasonable price. Highly recommended!

I got a Groupon for partial highlights and a cut with Pinky, I called for an appointment and got in pretty quickly. I have extremely curly hair that was way too long. Pinky did a great job on the hair and highlights. Awesome!

We went for my sister’s hair cut. Pinky did awesome job on haircut. We got excited with her work and asked for eyebrows threading(this is our first time to the salon and didn’t know the service details and we had groupon). Though late in the evening she stretched her hours and agreed to do to both of us. She is awesome. We will return(with our kids)

I am surprisingly very shocked and pleased with the quality of service I received. I went here only because I had a Groupon so my expectations were low to start. The receptionist was very kind and welcoming. She was very helpful on the phone when I has the old address and needed directions to the new location. My stylist was very sweet and she knew exactly what I was looking for. My hair ended up looking wonderful and I am so happy she fixed it.

I saw a mani/pedi deal on LivingSocial right before my mom’s birthday. It was near her house so I thought it would be nice to do a mother/daughter mani/pedi day. She never goes out of her way to get pampered and I thought it’d be nice to spend some time with her. BUT…It was probably the worse mani/pedi experience I’ve ever had. I called and made the appointments. I confirmed TWICE that my mom and I could go at the same time. They said of course. We get there and the nail tech asks us which one of us will be going first. I was like, «We are supposed to go at the same time…» Apparently that was not the case. Okay, fine whatever, I’ll go first… so I am sitting there getting my mani done while looking at the red headed lady at the next manicure station and wondering why she couldn’t start on my mom… instead my mom just sits behind me patiently waiting… I was really trying hard not to be mean about this as the lady was really nice and my mom seemed fine(though she doesn’t know any better). It was so frustrating! The manicure itself was sub par… I could have done what she did myself. After the manicures, we were up next to get a pedicure… which then I realize that they only had ONE pedicure station. And it was being used by a customer and the red headed nail technician. Our nail tech asked us to be patient and that they will be done shortly. I was so annoyed that I wanted to walk out… we were there a lot longer than I thought we would be. but I stayed because I wanted my mom to have hers done. I asked if I could just have a quick polish change instead of having the pedicure and the nail tech was fine with that. I was ready to get the hell out of there. We walked out of there just over 2 ½ hours… The ladies that work there are incredibly nice, but honestly, this is NOT the way to run a business. Don’t lie to your customers that you can take two people at the same time… esp if you only have one pedicure station. And seriously, don’t charge customers $ 59 for this(this was the regular price listed on their website). This wasn’t even worth the $ 29 I spent on LivingSocial! I could have gone to any other chop shop near my mom’s house and the experience would have been so much better and faster. I will never return.

Very nice people here! 5 star customer service. However, the mani-pedi’s are inconsistent. One time – best mani/pedi ever(Karen is the best!), then went again recently and had a mani/pedi with someone who I honestly think was doing a pedicure for the first time… I had to repaint my toes :(

So I want to start off by saying that all the ladies who work here are the nicest people, and that’s why they got 4 stars. Lovely people, all clearly very good friends, and that vibe made this a very fun place to be at. It is an older clientele/vibe – I kept thinking of the Golden Girls, hehe! I had Living Social deals that my mom and I used to get mani/pedis before my wedding. Our nails look great, and I upgraded mine to shellac for $ 25. Overall, a very positive experience. The negatives? The place has terrible ventilation, for one; I don’t know if someone got acrylic nails or a perm or something, but the place had an AWFUL chemical smell the entire time we were there, and I probably got a little loopy while we were there. They also only have one pedicure chair, and they don’t do the mani and pedi and the same time, meaning my mom and I took twice as long as it really should have, and even longer because there was only one technician. Finally, unlike other nail salons I’ve been to, it *seems* like they re-use tools. At other nail salons, they open the package of clippers, etc., that they’re going to use on you right in front of you. Here, well, the tools were sitting in mugs on the tables that they pulled them out of. I have no doubt it’s still sanitary, but perhaps not as reassuring as it could be. Overall, I want to emphasize I had a really good experience, but with reservations. EDIT: Originally, I gave this place 4 stars, but I reduced it to 3. As I mentioned I got a shellac manicure for my wedding. Shellac and gel manicures are supposed to last for 14 days; previous ones that I had lasted at least that long. I got this manicure on a Tuesday; by Sunday, on 3 fingers, half the nail peeled off. Not entirely sure what happened, but very disappointing, considering I paid an extra $ 25 to get a manicure that would last 2 weeks.

I finally got my eyebrows threaded by Pinky, and they turned out great! She really listened to what I wanted — not skinny brows. Sometimes beauticians go crazy, and you end up with tiny eyebrows. Not so with Pinky. She wasn’t chatty, but I was out in 5 minutes.
