I don’t know what all the dumping on this place is about. I’m glad it’s not CVS, which in many cities(DC for example) has a monopoly and often gouges you even for a generic brand of standard over the counter medicines. I’ll admit that sometimes management is a bit slower than they should be to get another cashier working during the busy times, but I’ve always found the employees to be friendly enough by Philadelphia standards. We walk a couple blocks to this location, and for 24 hour convenience, it is perfectly adequate and appreciated.

The employees are miserable, one ignored me and walked away when I greeted her. Two out of three of the registers were broken and the cashier was incredibly slow and unfriendly.
This place is generally dreary inside. I’d rather go to CVS up the street than ever set foot in here again.

We have been going tot his store for prescriptions for a long time but I think we are going to switch. They make so many little mistakes and they are not very pleasant. Generally the people working there are not customer service oriented!

This is probably the most ghetto, dirty, poorly stocked, unprofessional pharmacy in the area. The employees working there are so miserable – they actually seem offended if you ask for assistance. Let’s just say that I have no issues walking the extra two or three blocks to the CVS. I would rather not have my life energy drained from the awful dreariness of this place!

Eek! What a dump. I think that’s all I need to say. It’s just a dirty, crusty, dump.

They sold me an Israeli made generic for Ambien. Been taking it from this store for a year now. On Saturday day they switched brands on the generic manufacturer, a move which they’d done before with no consequence. This time it did. The generic was totally ineffective. After thinking it must be the result of something external, I looked at the old bottle and compared it with the new one, Evident, Sandoz, the maker of the new generic is selling ineffective pils, which Activis Pharma was good. Apparently Rite Aid thought they’d save some money wholesale. Letter going to Sandoz and Rite Aid CEOs today.

Both the store and the pharmacy are open 24⁄7! Great service! The pharmacy has really knowledgeable and friendly staff. They have bathrooms, but seriously, hold it! And, this place could definitely use renovations since its a bit dreary, but it’s still my go– to place. Also, if you use rite aid enough, at some point, they give you a 20% discount for everything, every time you go there!

I have been going to the Ardmore Rite-Aid for over 20 years. I have always gotten great service. Steve, the senior pharmacist, knows the medications and knows if they interact. Now that they have resumed 24 hour service, the pharmacy is even more convenient. If they are out of something, they will both check the computer and call around to other Rite-Aid pharmacies in the area to get it for you, if possible. It also has one of the better greeting card selections in the area, which saves me from making a second shopping stop when cards are needed.

This is the slowest and dreariest Rite Aid EVER. There is typically a line, yes you heard me right a line at Rite Aid, to be checked out because the staff is slow. There are two very friendly and helpful people in the Pharmacy that save this review a star, but overall you don’t really feel helped out by the other people.

Eeek! indeed. I went here to get a roll of wrapping paper a few weeks ago and as I was standing there looking at the crappy selection, I kid you not, a MOUSE came scurrying out of one of the tubes and ran behind the gift bags. I almost died. SO gross. It seems like every time I go here it’s just an awful experience anyway. Long lines, incompetent, unfriendly and SLOOOOW staff that never seem to get fired. Not to mention the parking lot for that whole strip mall is usually a nightmare. After reading the other reviews, I’m so glad I don’t use their pharmacy. I love my CVS :)

Pharmacy slow and pharmacy tech openly asked the pharmacist what my medication was for in front of me and costumers with no hesitation or volume control, I immediately left and went to cvs two blocks away which has great staff and fast service.

This is the WORST pharmacy in our neighborhood. Worst layout, worst stock, worst service. The employees are not friendly and one in particular, Jody, is downright surly and openly hostile. When I called to ask whether the store carried a certain item, she muttered, «You f@(%ing people are killing me» into the phone(barely) under her breath. I only go here as a last resort. If I could give it zero stars, I would. CVS, right down the street is so much better: Friendly staff, helpful pharmacists and techs, open and pleasant layout.
