Stayed here for a week in late April 2015. First the good: People were friendly. They upgraded our and room moved us away from a noisy youth baseball tourney. Bed was comfortable. Wi-Fi was mostly good. Not good: Room had a nasty smell that got worse as the week progressed. After a few minutes we got used to it, and we were busy with family, so weren’t in the room that much. But every time we came in the room there was that smell. Window was very grimy. We asked that it be cleaned, they sort of cleaned it, but really just smeared the grim around. Granted it was hard to see in the daytime, but cleaning a window? It’s not that tough. Towels where clean, but thin, scratchy and stained. Couch and rug were stained. Rug was vacuumed but really needed a shampoo, felt greasy. Only three uncomfortable pillows for two people on a queen bed. We asked for another pillow but were told they had no more. We went out and bought another pillow just so we could sleep comfortably. Worst was we were charged twice for the room. We had to call a few times because only the owner or his wife could fix it. Once we spoke they said it would be fixed, but 5 business days later the charge has not been fixed. We’re still dealing with that. Ardmore does not have a lot of options for moderate priced motels. If you can, avoid Microtel. Other places could only be as bad, not worse.

The room was clean an the bed was comfortable. Huge mirror behind the bed and one across the room. The only thing missing was a ceiling mirror. My only suggestion would be to change old stained toilet seat.

Check in was ok. Room was very hot but they did move us and gave us a box fan. Basic breakfast of muffins, bagels and cereal. Rooms could use a update.
