This place isn’t to bad it’s some greasy buffet food. Sometimes that just hits the spot. Everyone that comes in to the restaurant is welcomed and treated well. Service is really good. I will be returning soon. I enjoyed my experience the fried tomatoes were really good.

An absolute stop for breakfast, lunch, or dinner when passing thru Ardmore. Buffett is some of the best southern food around including fried green tomatoes. Their fried chicken, smoked turkey, vegetables, homemade cornbread and sides are always fresh. Make sure to get there early enough for the Tomato’s Homemade peach cobbler as it is some of the best around! They also have real ice cream! Breakfast bar on Saturday and Sunday morning has everything you can imagine including the Chocolate gravy for their homemade biscuits. All you can eat buffet is a deal for only $ 7.95. Stop in for a Tuesday night to hear some great local blugrass pickin” while you enjoy your country buffet dinner!

First visit, lunch on Friday 3÷14÷14. Very good fried catfish, and the fried green tomatoes were just excellent. Buffet has plenty of variety– fried chicken, roasted chicken, a chicken pot pie with crust on top, mashed potatos, gravy, corn bread dressing, green beans, Mac and cheese, niblet corn, cooked cabbage, a few other veggies I’m not recalling, rolls and cornbread, and a fairly extensive salad bar. Also strawberry cake and banana pudding. All this and a drink were $ 7.50 including tax. Great value. Yes, the waitress has a good set of lungs, but she and the others were working hard and not letting any tea glasses approach even half-empty status. Only complaint-I needed a bigger plate to hold all the good food. Well that, and wishing this place were closer to Birmingham. Will definitely visit again.

I’ve eaten here a couple of times — would be more, but I usually pass at non-meal times. My biggest complaint is that the lead waitrees is overly welcoming — at least over-loud when welcoming newcomers. It is a buffet. As I recall, once they point you to a table, go fix your plate; there’s no reason to wait for service. They’ll bring your drinks quick enough! I am not much of a salad eater, so any shortcomings in that regard are N/A for me. I have been very happy with their selection of entrees and side dishes, breads, and desserts! And quite happy with the price! Good southern cooking, just like my mother used to make… with no need to wash any dishes! :)

Went there for dinner and it was very good. Saturday night is a seafood buffet and they also had fried chicken and teriyaki chicken. Loved their catfish. Very good selection of vegetables and the green beans were probably the best I have had and of course the fried green tomatoes are very good. I have been there for lunch and it was also good.

The family and I ate breakfast here today. It was not very good at all. In fact after the meal I told my husband that I enjoyed it… Only because It was the best Dr. Pepper I’d had all day. The scrambled eggs were turning gray. The grits and no seasoning at all. The hashbrowns had a very strange rubbery feel. I asked for a cup to go and the waitress brought me one. However, i had to get a different employee to actually refill my drink so i could put it in the go cup. I was also disturbed by the note from MK(i guess the owner) to all employees that was displayed in the sight of all customers. It was a note stating that if the employees talked bad about the establishment in public that they would be fired. Even detailed that one employee already had at the local H and R Block. I guess based on other review that it is just better at lunch/dinner. Breakfast… Don’t waste your time or money.

Good Fried Chicken and Fried Green Tomatoes. They could improve their salad bar and a few items on the bar but, for the price and selection you can’t beat it in Ardmore. It’s a hole in the wall.

We almost didn’t stop based on the one review but I love fried green tomatoes so I had to give it a try. I loved the variety of country style veggies and the fried chicken was seasoned well. The fried green tomatoes were tasty but I prefer cornmeal based exterior versus their flour batter exterior. The salad bar was quite a poor site. The ham tasted like off brand spam and the cubed hard boiled eggs were frozen with some ice crystals on them. The salad I salvaged had iceberg lettuce, shredded cheese, imitation bacon bits, white onion and ranch. It felt like I was at a great aunts house. Not everything to my liking but overall delicious.

If i could give it 3 and ½ stars, I would. The country cooking is good but they lack variety. They offer a small salad bar, hot food buffet and small dessert/hand dipped ice cream area. Every now and then they bring in a gospel band for the older folks. And yes, they do serve fried green tomatoes on the buffet!
