Went on Sunday, October 18th. As soon as we walked in, we were offered sample cups. Service was great and the yogurt satisfied my craving!

Although this place is good they have a stupid punch card system. If you forget your card you will not be able to combine your old with your new??? That blows Boo pop culture!

What a fabulous find! The store was welcoming, the staff friendly, the yogurt top quality(locally made) with fantastic flavors and excellent toppings. We are fro yo fans — and this was the best frozen yogurt we’ve had. The black raspberry with no added sugar was amazing and the chocolate was incredible. So glad that we found this store. We’ll be back!

This is a great place! I’ve come here three times now and every single time has been a great experience. 1) the owner seems to have this sweet shop business figured out. He has comfy couches setup inside and lots of great seating outside. The shop is clean and aesthetically appealing! 2) the employees that he hires are great at their job. I’ve met three of them so far, and each of them have been welcoming, friendly, and very mature. We held great conversation with each visit. I really enjoyed that aspect. 3) the shop is conveniently located across the street from target, so I am often yearning to swing by whenever I make a target run! I definitely give this place 5 stars– it’s a well-rounded joint!

Pop Culture was a damn fine choice for some Froyo. We were craving some froyo after dinner, seen Catherine C rated this one highly and had to swing in to give it a go. Very well laid out, nice staff, and the place was clean. The TV going in the back was nice, and the up front comfy chairs and table was a nice touch too. I decided it was time to live dangerously… tart, vanilla and strawberry in one bowl! I know, I’m a crazy man. The better half went with grape sorbet and tart. Yogurt was solid. Not the smoothest we’d had, but, not the worst either. Decent creaminess to it, and solid flavor that wasn’t lacking at all. Toppings were fresh and well laid out. No complaint at all about them. Price per ounce wasn’t’ too bad either. Lots of bobas selections available and some mochis too, which makes the woman go from happy to OMG kind of happy(she’s a mochi junkie with froyo, I swear it). Overall, a solid place that we’ll hit up again when we’re in the area. Right on par with Yogurt Lab, maybe a bit above.

Delicious selection of frozen yogurt! Clean and neatly organized shop, this is a self-service concept with plentiful seating and an abundantly large array of dry toppings as well as various fruits, mochi and sauces. At first I was skeptical and afraid because I am so completely loyal to Yogurt Labs. But in giving Pop Culture a chance, I realized that there IS space in my heart for more frozen yogurt love! Today I tried flavors of Salted Caramel, Yellow Cake Batter, Green Apple and Black Raspberry Tart. Topped with caramel sauce, white chocolate sauce and mochi. It was absolutely delightful, and the yogurt did not melt into a nasty little wet puddle almost as fast as it was dispensed. It held its shape and was nice and cold until the very last bite. So they are obviously doing a lot of things right in here! I hope they stick around for a long time, because this part of the North Metro definitely needed a fro-yo joint, and Pop Culture is just the ticket!

Good folks working there. They kept a very clean store, and cared about the product. Good things: yogurt. the flavors were flavorful! except for the caramel, didn’t know what was up there. espresso, strawberry, german chocolate cake, yellow cake batter were tasty. clean. clean. clean. entertainment. TV showing Harry Potter. unexpected, serendipitous, happy. décor. extremely bright. almost too bright. local. the people that started this are local, trying to do it right. i hope they succeed. May need help: logo is not super attractive. needs more customers. you should go. ALSO I NEEDTORESPONDTOLAUREN’S ONESTARPOST! nobody followed me around. they gave me sample cups as soon as i walked in. they were great!

I love frozen yogurt and I loved Pop Culture. There is nothing like this place in the Shoreview area and it is refreshing to see something new in the area. The service and staff were friendly and prompt. As a brand new shop it was great to see the staff be so helpful. There were so many different types of toppings and flavors to pick from. I am more than happy with Pop Culture and cant wait to return.

A great Fro-Yo experience! Enjoyable atmosphere, friendly staff, exceptionally clean, and best of all — quality frozen yogurt. It’s also a very convenient location. I can park once, grab a quick bite to eat next door, have great frozen yogurt for dessert, then grab a cup of Starbucks a couple doors down, then hit the road. What more does one need?

Bright, clean, and delicious. I loved the separator and the whip cream. I was able to try two flavors and not have them touch! They have a ton of toppings, a whole wall full I didn’t have room to fit in my cup. My daughter loved the cereal. I loved the brownie, cookie dough bites and hot fudge. The fruit LOOKED good but I couldn’t resist the other stuff, maybe someday. Everyone in my group enjoyed their yogurt and plan to come again. The yogurt was rich and full of flavor. The service was great, they made sure we knew what to do and let us go.

Worst froyo experience ever. I have been waiting for this place to open and was excited to go visit the area with my significant other. I would consider myself an veteran of froyo eateries, and understand the process of tasting, creating and weighing. Therefore, when we walked in I knew to ask about sample cups before we went to go taste; just to save time and not need to walk back and forth for sample cups. Now, I have never been to a froyo institution where they insist on getting the samples for us. But this place did. First, why do you need to do that? We’re they scared I was going to run off with $ 5 worth of froyo samples? I believe that I am capable enough to get my own samples thank you very much. Second, the young lady who was getting our samples seemed irritated and annoyed to help us. she rushed us in the process. Hence why, we can get our own damn samples. Lastly, when I had asked about the sample cups, there was some hesitancy between the young man and young lady working. As though they either flagged us as suspicious customers or didn’t want to help us at all. Now other than the customer service here, they didn’t have too many flavors. Their vanilla didn’t taste too much like vanilla.(This varies from person to person, obviously.) And their topping bar was mediocre. One nice thing was that they actually had cookie dough instead of cookie dough bites. But they didn’t have great fruits to choose from, and after examining the whipped cream machine for a couple minutes; and was unable to get help from the employees who were less than a feet away. I would say with a smile. I would never come here again. I blame the service mainly. I don’t think you should judge customers and sum them up when they come in. And honestly, that is what I feel had happened. An older couple and their children had bought froyo after us and we’re manually served their samples. Why should my significant other and I be served like this? Yes we look young, but we aren’t going to run out without paying. Yes we are interracial in an area where you don’t see it that often. But this does not equate to the bad service we experienced. Note: this occurred Friday, September 26th, 2014 between 5 – 6

Having this awesome new frozen yogurt place open up in such a convenient location on Lexington may end up resulting in a serious froyo addiction for me. Pop Culture hasn’t been open a week yet and I’ve gone twice already! It’s just great. They have tons of flavors and toppings, and to top it off they have a whipped cream machine(I had never heard of this invention before, so I’m pretty fascinated by it)! This place has WiFi too, and comfortable seating(as opposed to the uncushioned plastic futuristic patio furniture of other frozen yogurt places I’ve been to). Pop Culture will definitely be a great place to meet up with friends and coworkers for a nice treat! :-)
