Wrong location… Mckinleyville is the worst, not Arcata

Highly disappointing! We paid almost $ 28 incl tip for a medium pizza(half only cheese and half pepperoni and olives) I live only 1 minute away. The pizza was not very hot, however it was burnt all over the edges. I highly recommend this location if you like cold, yet burnt overpriced pizza. I feel ripped off

Woah so how do I put this. The first time I went I was told their crust was nondairy and as long as I ordered a cheeseless pizza I’d be ok.(I’m allergic to dairy) and the second time I went I asked about the ingredients again since it had been a while and the manager refused to even check. She said yes without pulling out a list. Now I know sometimes managers will know this by heart but then I asked if they had anything dairy free so I could eat with the rest of my family and the manager rolled her eyes and said yes everything has milk. RUDE needless to say my family canceled their order and we left

I eat here a few times a week, and the service is always friendly, and the pizzas are pretty good! Restaurant is clean, and staff deals with crowds pretty easily. One of my favorite places to go for a bite.

The Round Table in McKinleyville makes better pizza and the people are nicer. Plus, the Giuntoli neighborhood is pretty sketchy, so I avoid this one if I can.

Service was great! Friendly and quick! Pizza was perfect. Salad bar standard and clean! Loved it! This was a fav when I was a kid. I’ve since moved across country. This is the first time in 30 years and the taste is still the same and awesome!

I have been here twice now, the first time we had their lunch buffet and it was excellent. They are very attentive with making sure there is enough pizza. The second time we ate here was tonight and it was great, but not without fault. I ordered two pizzas for take out and they made one of them in the wrong size so we waited about 5 minutes and got the correct size. We got home, opened up the pizzas and our pizza was missing a major topping(it was supposed to be a garlic chicken pizza but there was absolutely no chicken!). I called them to ask if they mixed up our order with someone else’s and who I think was the manager apologized profusely and insisted on delivering a large garlic chicken pizza to us free of charge. Despite these mistakes, I would still get pizza here again. The pizza is good and the staff are hardworking as well as friendly.

We went to Round Table Pizza because it was very close to our hotel. We were pleased that the special was the Maui Zowie because that’s our favorite. The pizza was served very quickly which was great. As soon as the pizza arrived at the table, my son spilled a big glass of water over the whole thing. The guy working there saw this and offered to make us a medium Maui Zowie for free. It was so nice of him! We really appreciated him being so nice to us. What a great place!

Not impressed with this Round Table. The pizza was ok. The service was bad. After spending over $ 100 on pizza, I asked for paper plates as we were staying at a nearby motel, I was given 4 plates. I asked for napkins if they didnt have any more paper plates and was told to get some off the table. Really? After just spending that much money, I was treated like that. Next time I will go somewhere else.

I order pizza every week or so from Roundtable and I’ve never had a problem. I know the delivery girl by name and I’ve never had any problems. I love this restaurant so much!

What more can I really add, to the coined, «the Last honest pizza». Honestly this RT pizza is good.

Been here a few times, gave it a few chances. This past visit was/is the last. Didn’t expect the manager to mess up my order based on what he likes. I ordered online. Small pizza with no sauce and boneless chicken nuggets without sauce, both for my kids. He told his employees to make them both with sauce since I «filled out the order wrong». «Who doesn’t like sauce» & «what, are they allergic or something?» Is not a way to treat a customer. So, to make up for it I had to wait for them to remake everything. I’d rather eat a Totino’s and risk E. coli than go back and see that guy that resembles a b-rated, Bruce Campbell, after he read the Necronomicon

I love round table, it’s the gold standard for pizza, but this one is terrible. I’ve ordered from here 3 times and each time it was either burnt or there were big empty spots with no cheese or toppings. The management obviously puts little time or effort into quality.

Honest pizza? … maybe. Honest employees? … nope! Wow … Do NOT order online! After reading previous reviews, DONOT frequent this Round Table! 1 hour and 18 minutes after ordering; a call to the store revealed that they were ‘having a rush, your order is just coming out of the oven’ … 20 minutes later there’s a knock at the door. The pizza was lukewarm and the pasta congealed. When I asked for the Extra Parm that I ordered I was informed that RT was ‘out of Parmesan’ … Not the driver, the store itself. When i asked for napkins, plates and a fork for the pasta, I was told they ‘were out’. A –second– call to the store was met with indifference. When I asked for the manager, I was told ‘he is busy, he cannot come to the phone’. AVOID this store ATALLCOSTS!

We were camping at Patrick’s Point when it started raining. Time for Plan B… We had seen the forecast and made reservations at a hotel in Arcata the day before it started raining. It started raining at 5:30AM. The National Weather Service had forecast the rain would hold off and it would only be intermittent. They missed their forecast! It rained all day. We ended up spending the day in Ferndale. If you have never been to Ferndale, it is a great place to wonder in and out of the tourist shops. When we returned to the hotel, neither of us felt very adventurous, so we drove the embarrassingly short distance(a quarter mile) from the Howard Johnson’s to the Round Table in the rain. It was a Friday night. We had eaten at the Eureka Round Table that Monday and found that you can get lonely eating in that restaurant. Not the case at the Arcata Round Table. The place was crowded but we were able to snag the last open table. I’m not sure why restaurants think having televisions is a great idea. I don’t like it, but if you do, they have at least two of them. Fortunately, they either had the sound turned down or the ambient noise level was able to drown them out. Either way, the televisions were not obnoxious, just a nuisance. We had the usual: salad bar and a pizza. I love a good salad bar and Round Tables seem to have good ones, as did this one. Even though they were packed and seemed to be supplying most of Arcata with take-out pizzas. we didn’t have to wait an inordinately long time for our pizza, which had been a concern of ours when we first walked through the door. The staff worked hard at making everyone happy. They even had someone go from table to table to take away plates and things and to ask if we needed anything. The food was typical for a Round Table, good but not great. The place was clean and if half the people had suddenly gotten up and walked out the door it would have been much more enjoyable, but that’s not really the restaurant’s fault. The noise level was loud but not so bad that we had trouble hearing each other. The good thing about the noise is that we didn’t have to hear the televisions blaring. Good clean fun on a rainy night for a tired couple that only wanted to eat and go back to their hotel.

Upon entering for a dinner buffet, a woman was trying to prop the front door open because this place was HOT. That was a first warning sign that I shouldn’t have ignored. Then I paid cash and got some salad and saw the pizza bar was pretty empty. So I waited and noticed the cashier who got my cash is slicing the fresh pizza(hope he washed his hands or a least wiped?) Another warning sign. Before I got to get my pizza, I saw this loco dude putting fresh pizza slices on his dirty plate(since he went back for seconds or third or more and didn’t bother to get a fresh plate). The serving utensil touched his dirty plate. I also saw another man used his hand without bothering with utensil. Those were the last sign that I chose the wrong place to eat. Good thing I saw no one had the sneezzies or any nose pickers. Stay home. The pizza here did not taste like the normal RT pizza.
