Between the«too groovy to help you» attitudes and the chia pudding that was rotten, literally, I will never be back! On my third or forth bite(trying to figure out what I was tasting) I realized it was lemon gone bad… I ask: «Is it be possible this pudding could be old?» I receive blank stares from both young women behind the counter. The girl with dreads and a nose ring(the kind people in Thailand tie their water buffalo to trees with) asks: «What do you mean?» I say: «this pudding tastes kinda funky!» She says:” what do you mean?“ I say: «I think this tastes like the lemon has spoiled…» Blank stares:“Well it’s been in the fridge for 6 days. It can be in there for a week, so it’s fine till tomorrow.“ I say:” Well, it doesn’t seem like its good anymore, I’m throwing it away, and I recommend you don’t sell anymore to anyone!“ Smile:” oh, that’s the last one, now we have strawberry flavored!“ I’m stunned into silence and walk away with a giggle and upset stomach for the rest of the afternoon. Maybe I’m not ready to live in «Portlandia» yet…

Their smoothies and juices are extraordinarily fresh, and taste really good. Theres already delicious preset smoothies/juice choices along with a nice selection of bases to choose from if you decide to make your own blend. Perfect substitute for Jamba Juice, but way better. My current fav — Moonstone

Hooray! I’m an outta-towner and I did a search for juice bars and gladly stumbled upon this industrial style juice bar. I gladly stocked up with a juice and a smoothie to enjoy that afternoon/evening and another juice and chia seed pudding I could put in the hotel fridge for the next morning. I love that even though I’m away from home, healthy options are just a search away! I watched my juices be made just for me, no additives, just fresh nutrient rich juices. The lovely ladies working Saturday 1÷23÷16 were terrific! Here’s to a successful 2016 for your business! Cheers!

Can you say yum?! I can, especially after having a ‘Date Night’ smoothie(dates, bananas, oats, coco nibs, oat milk & almond butter). Filling, fresh, slightly sweet and very satisfying… I had my first Humboldt Juice Works experience the other day. A friend gave me a cute mason jar with their logo on it and encouraged me to give them a try. I’m so glad I did. Bring your own jar and get .50 off your drink. Counter staff was super friendly. I think I could get used to this.

My go to hangover cure! I love that the menu changes. Love the options, would like to see a few more veggies added like yellow bell peppers! Love the décor/design. The refresh mint is my favorite!

I can’t tell which was more causing of perplexity, the person working there or the menu that’s written in uniformly typed and spaced fonts like it’s the New York Times Sunday paper. The stupid half-sheet book-menu provided zero visual delineation between any of the beverages. I felt this sense of overwhelm and annoyance and got the feeling that I was going to walk out feeling like I should have just bought OJ at the 7-eleven. So I trusted my instincts. Does anyone believe in imagery, color coding, or something that will make it to where new people don’t have to spend 5 minutes minimum sifting through 45 inane titles just to get a basic juice out of it? Pretty sure you guys didn’t invent carrots and apples, so how about naming it «The Carrot, Apple, Celery Juice» instead of The Fantastic Fruity F*ckery… or just listing the ingredients in a scannable, instantly digestible format? Walked in, walked out. Didn’t want to support nonsense. I just wish places would go back to the basics instead of trying to be premier, kitschy, and price gouging people. It’s juice, queens, not a clothing brand.

Tasty. This place is refreshing. New owner, new look, good product. I enjoy this place in particular because of the feel. Running into the super market for juice around here is the norm, but that gets tough when I don’t want to feel rushed. I feel that this place really set itself apart by being focused and trying something new. I can call in, if I want something ready to-go, or hang out for a minute if I want a break. I’ve been coming here instead of a slammed coffee shop because they’ve got decent beans. It’s great to see something that has juice, smoothies, and food downtown.

This is a very cute juice bar. They have a big menu & a fridge of cold pressed juice. They have smoothies. They have been in Arcata for a couple of years. But I just got to see why this place never took off or got very successful. They are not juicing all of their juice. I ordered an orange-pineapple juice, the OJ was fresh from the morning, but the pineapple juice was literally poured from a store bought bottle into into the cup. I think it’s misleading, and honestly, anyone could buy Knudsen juice from the grocery store and do that themselves at home. It’s a shame, because it seems like they certainly shelled out to build, design, & decorate the place, but not on the actual quality of the juice. And for $ 5⁄12 Oz, seems like they should cut up a pineapple & juice it. If mixing juices from the store doesn’t bother you, than it is a fine place.

Great smoothies! I got the nectar one and I loved it. I’m from the bay and I was really missing Jamba Juice and I’m glad i found out about this place. Totally satisfied my smoothing cravings!

Delicious! It is located in a converted garage; the renovation is amazing. My boyfriend and I accidentally ran into this juice bar. He was showing me around the town he grew up with and notice a new juice bar. We decided to go in and give it a whirl. The prices are steep but certainly worth the price for some really delicious drinks. I always come here during my weekend trips with the boy. We venture to Arcata to visit his family. We always try to get a drink from here. I love the drink called Monkey Business(I think that is what it is). It has bananas, chocolate, and coffee. It is seriously delicious. It is rich and refreshing at the same time, which is quite a feat. I am craving some right now, too bad they are five hours away.

Large is not big enough. But very ingredients. I highly recommend. If the large was bigger I would have gave them five stars.

Oops, just realized I’ve had this drafting sitting here for months! We stopped by Humboldt Juice Works a couple of times back in September, while on a road trip through NorCal. I LOVED this place so much that I insisted on stopping by again on our way home and getting an extra juice for the road. My son got the Strawberry PB milk smoothie and a nectar smoothie(peach, strawberry, banana, guava juice), Husband and I got carrot beet ginger kale juice and the lovely carrot beet orange juice.(A couple of times!) The building itself is really cool — interior and exterior and the staff is SO friendly. I could have sat there all day drinking juice and talking to them. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to try anything off the menu but it all looked SOGOOD. If I’m every anywhere near Arcadia again, I will definitely make a point of getting back to the Juice Works.

Bad customer services. I was waiting for my other, what it took forever, and my friend had his, actually he had two. Put one on the ground by the wall outside while standing nearby it, an employe walks by and kicked it. Well, not only my friend did not get a new one that he got yell at for it. I prefer wildberries. People smile there :-)

4 stars because the coffee and smoothies are excellent, very fresh and with top notch ingredients! Minus 1 star because the guy who worked the counter on Sunday has a foul mouth. I get that I’m the only one in here and I’m waiting for a friend but its hard to enjoy my coffee and paper when sh** and f-bombs are being dropped. Get a vocabulary man. I won’t be back but if you need a good smoothie go for it, maybe leave the kids in the car.
