–1 star for ambiance and lack of diaper changing table + 1 for taste(I’ve been there many times and never had anything I didn’t like. Also the food is decent for anywhere, not just humboldt county) + 1 for being mostly kid friendly(kiddie play area) + 1 for plenty of parking + 1 for having a TV

The food here is really good. They have plenty of space so you can always find seating. If it’s a sunny day they even have a patio. Seat yourself. There’s 3 sections to dine in. The closer to the bar, the more likely you are to get frequent service. Adriana will usually be your server.

I was traveling through the area and decided to have Mexican. Boy was going to Adriana’s a mistake. I will forgive the horrible service because everyone has a bad day. The food was the unforgivable experience. I had the beef chicken shrimp fajitas. The meat was pretty much flavorless and the rice was just bad. The cheese dip was shredded cheese melted on a hot plate. A lot of the other reviews said this was the best Mexican food ever — I’m really concerned for what people are eating. My overall suggestion is skip this place because it was just not good.

I’m on vacation and according to Unilocal this place came highly recommended. I ordered Tortilla Soup and a chicken enchilada. The soup was greasy and tasteless. Lightly flavored hot water with a few taco strips and four or five tiny avocado pieces. Disgusting! The chicken in the enchilada was dry. No sauce or barely any cheese. My sons queso dip was brought in a skillet and the cheese was stuck to it. Queso is usually in a bowl right? The waitress was rude to say the least. Our bill was nearly $ 60. Man. Don’t go to Adriana’s.

This was one of the worst food experiences I’ve ever had. The food was greasy and tasteless. It was honestly gross. I’m confused by all the positive reviews on this place. We stopped by there while visiting the area and were given horrible service by our waitress. She barely made eye contact and was generally hateful. We ordered some cheese dip and were given some nasty cheese and chorizo that was not edible. I also had a burrito which was also greasy and flavorless. The only thing that they got right was the soft drink I had. I have never written a negative review like this because I have never had such a terrible eating experience. I’ve had bad food. I’ve had bad service. But I have never had such bad service and bad food at the same time.

The food at Adriana’s is authentic Mexican cooking. Everything we have tried has been fantastic — from the Jalapeño poppers to the chimichanga and flautas. Taco Tuesday is a must — the tacos are delicious and are priced just right.

Best rice, fast service, food is really delicious and not as salty as the other Mexican restaurants in town. Beans are super good and anything grilled chicken is yummy too. REAL margaritas coming next month in MAY

food is typical; prices have gone up 40% since they opened… they are way too much for the quality of food and service… wait time can be horrendous(85 minutes instead of their stated 15)… they forgot part of my order on a take-out which I didn’t realize until I got home.

I have been here a quite a few times and it has Always been consistently good. My brother came to visit and we took him there for dinner, he enjoyed their food so much he ended up going to eat there several more times before he left. I will definitely eat eat here again.

Second time here, the best Mexican food I have had this far north of the boarder! Everything here is fresh and made with love. I recommend at least trying a quesadilla or the California burrito. Can’t wait until they get their liquor license

I used to go to this restaurant years ago(probably has changed owners/name since then), but this place has changed for the worse… I have come back 3 times trying to give them another chance, but this was the last visit here… The burritos were tasteless, and both the grilled chicken and el pastor meats tasted like tough cardboard. The few bites we had made our stomachs feel heavy and upset, and there was a hard piece of clay/dirt/cement in one of them… Which we had the unpleasant experience of biting into. I don’t understand why the reviews are so good here, only good thing was the chips and the flour tortilla that the burrito was wrapped in. Save your money, go to Taco Bell. I know we will not be back. :(

On our way from Oregon to California, we stopped by this place for lunch. This restaurant is a hidden gem. Clean place, friendly owner/server and absolutely yummy food! Loved the unlimited chips we got with salsa and sour cream. My first place that serves sour cream with chips. We had multiple main dishes like burrito with vegetables and tofu, vegetable quesadilla, fajita and l quesadilla Mexicana; all were really good. She even offered is fresh spicy salsa that tasted fantastic! Make sure you stop by if you are in the area. Pretty reasonable and great portion size. Will surely go back when u I’m around there again!

Stopped here for dinner during a cross west coast road trip. We got the schrimp fajita quesadilla and a steak burrito with rice, cheese and beans. Food tasted great and the service was excellent. Great little find.

I really wanted to like this place. We, 5 of us, were seated and gave some chips, that tasted a little old. Not bad. We were finished with those before we were offered any water. Finally ordered our meal. Simple burritos and a sandwich. Took about a half hour. Then 1 plate took an extra 5 minutes. When it finally arrived it was too hot to eat & the beans were over cooked and dry. The restaurant was basically empty. I understand that there could have been a problem in the kitchen. But come tell us. There was no ‘I’m sorry they are taking so long’ or anything. I’m hoping it was just a ‘bad day’. But we won’t be going back.

Good standard Mexican fare, chips and salsa very good. The tortillas appear to be handmade and the tacos are lightly fried, very nice. I have eaten here twice and have not been disappointed, service was prompt. Good prices also.

Went to Adriana’s last night for dinner. We come here on a weekly basis. The food is awesome and the owner is great. She is always quick to take our order and never waited longer than 10 minutes for our food. She is usually the only server on the floor and looks like she takes care of everybody. So, I would recommend this restaurant over any other.

I REALLY wanted to like this place so I would have an alternative to Rita’s in my own neighborhood BUT … it was so bad :-/ I will list my complaints here: 1) slow service even though we were the only people there 2) watery, bland salsa 3) no liquor license = «wine margaritas» which were pretty sketchy 4) Out of the 3 people at my table, not one of us enjoyed our meals 5) Not clean, found a hair on my plate 6) Dry, tasteless meats in tacos 7) Watery beans 8) Unprofessional waitress complaining about taking too many shots of tequila 9) All 3 people did not feel well after dining here 10) Super pricey for how shitty it was… We paid over $ 50 between 3 ppl for this very unfortunate meal. Will not be dining here EVER again.(x___x) Sorry Adrianna but next time I want Mexican food, I will be going back to Rita’s… or Carmela’s… or Luzmillas… or the taco truck… Or anywhere else really.

New Mexican restaurant in an older space. They’re getting the beer wine license this weekend! We had Carnitas, Chili Verde, Chicken enchiladas and tacos. The food came out quickly. All traditionally delicious and SoCal approved. I’ve never had fresh homemade tortilla and they were THE best, and I usually skip those when I go out for Mexican food. There’s plenty of staff and the service is nice. Frank came to check on us a few time after we got our food. The restaurant space itself is huge and can accommodate large parties. Can’t wait to go back in the warmer days to dine in the patio. Give this place a try!
