Well, don’t try to call and place an order, no one picks up. Or ringer on phone is really low; that was there excuse to me. Then I asked them if they can charge me delivery because I was rushing and need to get back. They kindly agreed, Thank you, but then ruined it again by not delivery everything I ordered. I order NY pizza 2 toppings, bread sticks, and potatoes. All that was deliver, pizza. Double fail on the customer service… Now the pizza, amazing! Great taste, soft dough, mushrooms are tasty, and it wasn’t heavy. I will order again, but at the counter and wait. Rather get my money’s worth. Service needs to improve

This place doesn’t have the best pizza, but it’s not exactly terrible pizza. The pizza had way too much oil, but that can be easily taken care of. My pepperoni pizza didn’t have much flavor, but I really liked the crust. The garlic bread doesn’t taste like garlic bread, but it was really soft which is a big plus! The customer service was alright, nothing to complain about, but nothing to brag about either. I would give the place three stars, but my girlfriend got really sick after eating from here today. I wouldn’t recommend the place and if you want pizza still don’t go here. The price isn’t worth it and you may end up really sick after eating from here.

Last time I had Sbarro pizza was when I was living in NYC years ago… I ate a slice of their pepperoni pizza today at the Santa Anita shopping center and the taste is okay, but lack’s a good amount of tomato sauce, barely any cheese and the service is really slow!!!

For the longest time, I’ve always been a Sbarro Pizza — Mall Food Court kinda gal. Can’t go into any regular mall without seeing a Sbarro, lol! I’ve always liked their pizza slices — it’s cheesy, ooey gooey, slightly oily,(but you can be lady like or gentleman like, and soak up your oil with your napkin, lol!), and of course, the crust is always crunchy and golden. Popped in here for my free birthday slice: choice of either NY pepperoni or cheese slice with a purchase of a beverage. I got the pepperoni with a Diet Pepsi. My slice was large and hearty. It satisfied my hunger. I didn’t feel greasy afterwards, and the sodium was just right. Service: Friendly and efficient. They may be a bit pricey, but if I had to pick a mall food, I’ll pick Sbarro as my go to :)

This place as disgusting. Imagine the cardboard box they wrap the pizza in with cheese and sauce on it. That’s what this tastes like.

#FYI On Saturday December 5th, 2015 around 12PM my aunt and I were at the Santa Anita Mall, CA and had the New York style deal that included a slice of cheese pizza and a small drink. Both my aunt and I had the same thing and both of us got food poisoning because of the pizza. Because of this both of us had to go to the doctors and get medication since the symptoms were bad. #Sbarro needs to know about this and take in mind two people got sick because of their food. They need to keep a better control of their ingredients and the food they serve to customers.

I came here for lunch today. I had a slice of their tomato spinach pizza. I have to say it had so much flavor. I loved it! My son had a slice of the pepperoni pizzza, that was ok. Im coming to try the lasagna next time. I hope it’s as good as their pizza.

During my mall trip, I was craving some pizza. I stopped here to grab a bite to eat for dinner. I thought the prices were reasonable, friendly staff members, clean layout, and it was efficient. I am familiar with Sbarro, so I knew the food would be delicious. I would recommend this place to those who are looking for pizza. I thought 3 Stars is a great fit because it wasn’t perfect, but not too bad. I will be back though in my future visit.

Employees with attitude. One employee decided to get another customer’s order first who was behind us, when her co worker pointed out to her that she should’ve taken our order first. She just shrugged her shoulders and ignored us. We told the 2nd employee we wanted the 2 for $ 20XL pizza. She then asked the 1st employee, they whispered something to each other and then all of a sudden… They told me that their pizza station is closed! Seemed pretty convenient for them, huh? Taking out ur anger on me because you got reprimanded? We only went to the mall to order their pizza and this is what we get. Thank you Sbarro. You have lost 2 customers forever. I will warn all of my relatives and friends aswell.

I came in an hour before closing and as being a former employee at the mall I understand closing shifts. I used to grab food from here every now and then while working at the mall and I never had a problem. The problem with coming to grab a decent slice of pizza after a long day at work is disappointing to know your dinner is ruined because your pizza is not fully cooked. I’m not one to make a complaint against a food service establishment but it is just very disappointing when you can’t enjoy dinner. I’d be even more disappointed if I paid full price. I tried calling this place back to speak with a manager or whoever was in charge to fix this situation but they failed to answer their phone. I hope this company takes their Unilocal reviews serious because this kind of service is unacceptable.

Terrible service from the girls at the counter. Nevertheless, sbarro still seems to come through on taste! Would have given 5 * if the customer service wasnt so horrid.

I got the Sausage and Pepperoni Stromboli. It came with some marinara sauce, which I poured on top of the stromboli. The food was good, but the service was really slow. They took their time putting the stromboli in the oven. Then, once it was ready, they put it in a box and just stood around for a few minutes before realizing it was for me.

Honestly pizzas fine but getting sides like the potatoes is complete shit. Stingy as hell with it gave me only 5… Learn to not be stingy it’s not like it’s going to hurt the business because you’re giving away more potatoes dumb nuts

I used to work in the mall and ate sbarro all the time when I wanted a quick meal. I remember their pizza crust and dough used to be thicker, which is the way I like. But now it’s all thin crust. I guess they are going for new york style? Stromboli is good but too oily.

The food quality tastes a step above supermarket frozen dinner. You aren’t going to get anything on par with Mario Batali’s Mozza but it is mall food. I usually get the baked ziti with chicken. The chicken is baked in a delightful butter garlic sauce. The paked pasta is done just right. It satisfies any mid-shopping day hunger.

I’ve never been to a Sbarro and I have one close by me so when i went to Santa Anita Mall I finally decided to try this. I got a stuffed pepperoni and sausage pizza, even though it was warmed up it still lacked warmness. The pizza was ok. I’ve had greater pizza for $ 5 a slice. It was also pretty greasy. However, I did enjoy the taste of the bread a little. I wanted to try the pasta and the dinner rolls but the pasta only had one size and dinner rolls only came with the pasta. Maybe i’ll come back one day not sure for this particular location though.

Sbarro is a mall-only regard, so expect mall-floor-flavored food. Well, not literally, but close to it. Food: I only had a couple things here, and the only thing I’m a fan of is the meatballs of the spaghetti and meatballs. They are huge and delicious, the only thig worth getting here. The pasta is, like people have mentioned before me, undercooked. Their side caesar salads are unfresh, and the croutons are so stale that I felt like I was chewing on raw hide. I guess I can feed those croutons to my dog. No, that’d still be too mean. Service: Being a mall only place, I expected the service to be bad, but they surprised me… in a bad way, too. The cashiers are usually rude and don’t really try to listen to what you are saying. Sometimes they say, «Speak louder, nobody can hear you.» Did I just get an attitude for me trying to give you business?! What the… Environment/Location: It’s located in the food court without much competition for Italiab food around them, so they got that marketshare monopolized in the mall. If you really want Italian food, get their meatballs… but don’t be fooled by their long lines of seemingly eager customers. Most of them are probably in line thinking«OMG I can’t wait to get my food so I can get away from these rude people… and attempt to enjoy my mediocre food in peace because being around them turns my mediocre food into the crimes of humanity.» Overall: 3⁄5 Yeah, I didn’t give them a lower score even though they might deserve it. The only thing is. this is your only choice for Italian food in the mall so if you need a fix then they are okay. I would give it a 2⁄6 for that alone, but their amazing meatballs brought it up to 3⁄5. Still wouldn’t recommend it if you are willing to drive somewhere else for Italian food, or if you are not absolutely needing Italian food at the moment.
