Violets did a great job and I highly recommend her. I have tried sooooooooooo many places and finally found a place that took the time to get it right

I wanted to try this place out because of the salon save subscription discount and it was the closest salon to me that was included in the salon listing. I also was not able to make an appointment with my usual hair stylist because I had a busy week and I really wanted my hair done.
I went in with fairly high expectations because the reviews were so good. But I was honestly disappointed. I showed them a picture of the color I wanted and I just let them at it, thinking they knew what they were doing. But the color I ended up with was very flat and Violeta did say that the color she used was multi toned and it is very shiny, but it is more of a flat, dark brown color. It is not like the picture I showed her.
Violeta also was not the person that did my hair, which I didn’t mind because she was busy with another customer, but I felt like this person didn’t really know what she was doing. She also forgot to cut my hair and ended up cutting it poorly after she curled my hair. She didn’t know how to cut a fringe and just cut my bangs straight across. I’m just waiting for it to grow out a bit to see if I can fix it myself.
But overall, not much communication present either. I was left in the chair sitting idle for around 30 minutes eventually having to ask what was to be done next. I was a bit frustrated but they are really nice people. The pricing wasn’t too bad with my discount but the job was not really that well done. I just expected more I guess, considering all the reviews.
Next time, I’ll just go back to my usual hair stylist at Verita in Monrovia. I have my own discount because my hair stylist is a family friend and I pay the same price for a better job and it is definitely more worth it.

Amazing hair for a great price! Violeta is the best! I suggest clearing your schedule for the day so that she doesn’t have to rush. She tends to get lots of customers so it takes her a bit more time than usual, but the end result is so worth it…

Let me start by saying that I called salons all around town that participated in the salon save program, and all the places I called were nothing but rude to me, except for one –this salon.
It was so refreshing to actually have good customer service — what is that right? You would think most if not all salons would know to have at least decent customer service but I guess not. Well I guess those other places don’t like having business, nor will they ever get mine.
This salon and it’s stylist were polite and helpful from the beginning. They patiently answered my questions, and they never failed to make sure that they were doing was what I wanted. They were careful to do what was asked, which doesn’t really exist nowadays. I told my stylist to cut my hair barely so I don’t lose length, and she didn’t chop it all off like some places do. I was really happy with her, and she styled my hair after the cut so beautifully !
I went out that night, which actually was last night, and I got a lot of compliments.:)

Violet is awesome. So I decided to do my hair lighter I was a little scared but really confident because she is the bomb at hair coloring also with other services she loves what she does and gives her 100% into all of her work. im very happy with my hair. I definitely recommend her for all your hair services

I really liked the place, at first I was hesitant because the place looked way off and hidden but then once they did my hair, everything was fine. Definitely coming back, the ladies there definitely know hat they are doing and are very kind and charge fairly. I really couldn’t ask for anything better.

I had received a bad haircut somewhere else and my daughter told me to go to Arcadia Styling Salon so they could fix it. They fixed it and did a nice job. I plan to go back.

Always get my hair done here by violet always come out happy ! Her Long bobs are amazing and recently got an ombré done If your in need of a new look this the place.
