Terrible customer service, very rude, bad attitudes… I won’t spend a dime here. Knowing that Mariannes doesn’t have frozen yogurt, we actually came in looking for some, as their sign out front and menus suggest they have it… they stood around talking amongst themselves for a while and then finally asked us if we wanted anything. When we asked if they had frozen yogurt, they resentfully replied that we should go to Mariannes.

Okay, the pizza here is fine. Nothing special, but fairly good pizza. Nice location, close to the beach and Mariannes Ice Cream. The customer service, however, is dismal. I mean seriously bad. I’ve been here 4 – 5 times. At best the service is apathetic and noncommittal. At worst, downright resentful of your patronage. I came here with my son after a day at the beach and ordered him a slice of cheese pizza. I know, a real specialty order. They were out of cheese and said they could make some in ten minutes. My son was hungry but wanted to stay(primarily because of the aforementioned proximity to the ice cream). After 15 minutes he was getting restless. After 25 we inquired about the missing slice. They hadn’t started it. Not even in the queue. The weird thing is that when the cook told the cashier this, she sort of awkwardly ignored me and began to help the person behind me. At this point I’m like, Hey! Where’s my sons pizza? The pizza cook looks at the cashier and says I don’t know, give them something else. I should have gone somewhere else, but we were committed at that point. I waited for the cheese and after almost an hour we finally got my son his dinner. Next time we’ll just drive to Pizza my Heart.

After a walk along the beach, Pizza was my kids request so we wanted to give it a shot since we didn’t want to drive to Capitola but I regret it. This place was clean, and workers were friendly. 3 adults and 3 kids we usually get a Large pizza, so we ordered a Large ½ pepperoni and ½ Hawaiian our total was $ 33. We waited 45min for our pizza and mind you the place was empty. 45min for kids is too long of a wait. Wont be coming back again.

Stopped here after a 20-mile hike in Forest of Nisene state park. We first went to a mexian restaurant nearby but it was so crowded. We came here because nobody was inside. We ordered 4 extra large pizza(half and half flavor). I checked the time. Ordered 5:33 p.m. and pizza came 6:15 p.m. Waiting time was so long. pizza was not very special.

I took the family here for dinner one night. We ordered an Xl combo pizza and a couple of drinks. We were told the wait time was 25 minutes. Overall we waited much longer for the pizza, with my wife having to ask 3 times what was taking so long. So that was a negative. But to Pizza 1’s credit, the manager came out and apologized for the delay, and gave us a complementary glass of wine and beer for the wait. I appreciated him making it right. In the end, I thought the pizza was really good. Specifically, the veggies were incredibly fresh and tasty. And the crust was quite good with a sour dough spin to it. They could tighten up on their service timing, but when all was said and done, I thought Pizza 1 was a good pizza place and I would go back.

I was visiting my parents awhile back and had a cold slice of the CM pizza from their fridge. It was delicious and I was determined to get it the next time I went home. Finally that time came. I ordered a thin crust small Corralitos Market pizza togo. The store was cute and the kids working the counter were nice. It took about 20 – 25 minutes for my pizza to come out. I got home and dug in! It was delicious; a mix of sweet and savory. My only complaint it one side had a way too large crust, only a little topping.(maybe they weren’t paying attention while making it?!). Delicious. Ill be back!

Wake up owner. Your pizza use to be good and affordable. Your pizza now is hardly edible, overlooked, missing items(no basil on a the tomato/basil pizza). You have kids who don’t give a hoot about the product you are putting out and you are not around to see it. Three strikes. You are out. I’m taking my business across the highway.
