Frame Workshop

I have been collecting the Ulbricht German Nutcrackers as well as the special event piece, the bird nutcracker for many years. I shopped at a store in Austin, Texas to purchase a new nutcracker and bird each year because an Ulbricht family member came each year for a «signing». After this store closed, I needed to find another shop that had basically the same yearly «signing.» All of my nutcrackers and birds in my collection are signed so I wanted to keep the tradition going. After searching on-​line, I found a wonderful business called «The Frame Workshop» in Appleton, Wisconsin which sold the nutcrackers and birds and hosted an annual «signing» with the Ulbricht family. Their prices are very reasonable and the service is of the highest quality. Each year my nutcracker and bird are held until signed and then shipped to me.
I highly recommend this shop as the staff are efficient, reliable, courteous, and promptly answer any e-​mail questions. They offer a vast variety of nutcrackers as I know they will always have the newest ones available. Their website is amazing as they provide many options for collectors. Even though I live in Texas, I feel I have established a long distance relationship as an Internet customer with the owner and staff. If you shop at «The Frame Workshop» you will not be disappointed!!! So fortunate to have found this lovely business.

A little hesitant to make an attempt to frame a pricey print myself I stopped here. The staff was very helpful with choices on a matte color and size as well as many options for a style of frame. Depending on how much you want to spend they give you many options. They also seem to have a lot of different décor items for sale as well as pre made frames in smaller sizes.
The turn around seemed reasonable, although I have not used another service to frame at this point so I have no comparison. From the morning I dropped off my print it took 10 days to receive a phone call that it was completed. It was wrapped in paper and I was also given hooks to use when hanging it.
