The food was standard Mexican American fare. I appreciated that it wasn’t overly spicy, but I wish it were seasoned a tad bit more. Overall, I enjoyed my meal. I did find their customer service to be amazing though. Our waitress was extremely nice! She made up for what the food lacked I thought. The price was decent too.

The food was absolutely horrible. It was very dry and bland. We ordered margaritas and there was clearly no tequila in them and the service was very, very slow. The people were nice, just soo slow. This is defiantly on my places of «never to go again!»

Love the food and the service. Great family run restaurant with authentic Mexican food. It is much better than the new place a couple doors down.

We had the fajitas and quesadillas. The food was fresh and delicious. The server was super friendly and nice. I had what I believe to be the best margarita that I’ve had in ages!!! The space is not humongous, giving a real cozy feel. It neighbors a town city center with a side entrance to that business and restaurant space. It’s downtown and in a nice location. Did I mention how much I loved my margarita? Also, the menu isn’t overly complex with same ingredients served in 1000 different combinations and numerically assigned. To me, it’s pretty authentic. Sorry I didn’t upload photos… I ate it all!

I love this place! Being Hispanic and from a very Mexican background, finding the right traditional style Mexican food is very hard, especially here in Appleton. I know the family that owns this restaurant personally and let me tell you they cook the food with love and make it like they would exactly at my house! Delicious and very fresh. The cook makes the food freshly to order and is very open to any special request. Love love love, please try this place!

They greeted us right away and such amazing friendly service. Food was delicious and hit the spot. My mother purchased their freshly made tamales and I purchased their gyros. The tamales were delicious and so much food with the gyro. We will be coming back!

Just finished my lunch of enchiladas w/mole sauce and chorizo(and Cadillac margarita). I totally agree with the favorable reviews by Marshall S. and Ted J. I’m very happy I found this place.

A little gem. Great Cadillac Margarita. Great mole sauce. Others at my table enjoyed their food as well. Was skeptical b/c the place was empty, but it shouldn’t be. Very nice authentic food.

i went here with 5 other people during the mile of music festival, it was nearly empty, which i can kind of understand since it is not much for ambience, that said, the food was fantastic, all 6 of us loved it, the service was awesome, it’s a family business and the son was our waiter. he had a lot of pride in the restaurant and he and another waitress were committed to us having a good time. the prices were super reasonable for all the food you get and the margaritas were great. highly recommend!

What a hidden gem! My taco salad was fresh, my wife’s enchilada mole was the authentic Mexican style and our 6 yr old loved her kid’s taco beans and rice. I’m not sure where the people are but they should be packed.

I went here assuming it was still the home of Josef’s Gyro Kabob. I went by Unilocal’s direction. Josef’s is gone, now El Patron is here in it’s place. However, there were Gryos on the menu on the window, so we stayed. Offering Greek dishes, and Mexican dishes, one of us choose fish tacos, which were thought to be good. I had a medium sized Gyros. Not exactly an overflowing quantity of lamb, but what I had, I thought good. The hostess was extremely pleasant. We did have difficulty understanding her English. Our server was familiar with both sides of the menu, was clear spoken, and his service was fast. I’d like to go to Josef’s new location at 118 Soldier’s Square, and see what Greeks can do for a Gyros.

I’m sorry but this place is dirty, nasty carpet and restrooms. The serve gyros? Why did i think it was a good idea to order one. It was a greasy messy and cost over $ 7!
