Took my iPad2 in here on 9⁄24 as it had gone frozen during my attempted installation of IOS8. After looking at it for a considerable amount of time and being told mid-way through that, «it didn’t look good», the techs here told me it could not be fixed; that it was something to do with my iPad’s internal processor. The only option was to buy a new one — and I would have, too, only one of the other techs said there would be new iPads coming out soon and that I should wait. I am glad I waited Well, after I got home, thinking about the whole situation, something just didn’t seem right. So on 9⁄25 I drove down to the Apple Store in Milwaukee, explained the problem and within 45 minutes my iPad was restored, reinstalled and updated with IOS8 –all free of charge. That could have been a $ 500 mistake had I not done that. We have purchased products from this Computer World in the past and have always been satisfied. But as another reviewer indicated, if you have a tech or service issue, do yourself a favor and drive down to The Apple Store at Mayfair Mall. You’ll be glad you did.

I can not praise these guys enough, they were so great. Their customer service is great, and they were so helpful and knowledgeable. I had broken the track pad on my Mac and I brought it back to the best buy I had boughten it from to see what I should do. They told me my very expensive warranty had expired less than a week earlier, and it would cost me about 500 dollars to fix and take about 3 weeks. I went home to go look at all of my options, and a friend of mine told me about computer world. I went in and they diagnosed what was wrong with my computer and estimated that repairs would only be 170 dollars! On top of that, they gave me the number for apple along with their business card to call and ask if apple would cover it, and they did! My repair was completely covered and they estimated 3DAYS to fix it. I went from paying 500 bucks and waiting 3 weeks to paying nothing and wait 3 days! As long as they are open, I’m not going anywhere else.

If you need to take your Mac in for service, skip bringing it to these guys, and drive down to the Apple store. I had a screen replaced on my macbook pro, and they realigned the screen horribly(I had to take it back in to fix, and it still isn’t straight), and the screws on the bottom weren’t tightened well. I took my Mac Pro in because it wasn’t starting. Took them almost a week to do «fix»…fast forward a couple weeks and it’s doing the same thing I took it in for. Highly recommend driving to Milwaukee and saving yourself a headache with these guys
