Food is great every time I go with friends. Every one enjoys their food. Customer service could be better though.

I was so-​so impressed with this establishment. Cute, cozy quiet casual atmosphere inside, perfect for a date night.
My experience started off positive. Arrived right at opening and half the tables were already occupied. Good sign, right? I was sat immediately and greeted by a friendly professional staff who was on point throughout the meal. Offered suggestions and was knowledgable about the menu.
Homemade hummus and toasties came right out. Delicious!!! Per Unilocal suggestions and photos I ordered the salmon platter with the village salad. The house soup came out first and was absolutely amazing!!! I would come back just for the soup!!! Village salad to me is a traditional Greek salad, NO lettuce. While the salad was very good, it was a bit misleading.
The salmon platter was mixed reviews. The grilled veggies and polenta were incredible. The salmon was mediocre at best. It was literally like a frozen piece of salmon fillet over baked and covered with a tasty glaze. Bottom line, frozen and over-​baked. Not per the other reviews.
Nonetheless, I would come back I would just try a different main dish.

There isn’t a ton of things to say other than this place sets the standard for great food and great service! There literally is no better place to eat in Appleton or Green Bay. The food is always cooked perfectly and I as appropriately priced while the service is attentive and friendly.

Simply delicious! Staff was super nice too! I had the «triumph of the sea». The grouper was the best I’ve ever had and the scallops and shrimp were cooked perfectly. Everything was seasoned and sauced perfectly! The veggies on the side were cooked perfect too. My husband had the moussaka and that was flavorful, filling and delicious. The salads were perfect and the soup was so good I took a quart home! The waitress said their most popular dish was the lamb in saffron sauce. We will definitely be going back to have it! A great Greek place in Appleton!

I came here for Valentines day and my gf and I had a good meal. I’m from Chicago and I was staying at a nice bed and breakfast called «Franklin Street Inn.» The owner (Judy) recommended Valentines dinner here and although the food was great… the atmosphere is a bit stale. lol.
If you are over 35, this is a nice date place… but if you are younger, I would stay away. It’s a bit stuffy here. Great food and service though!

What an awesome greek restaurant and one of my top 3 favorites restaurants in the states! Service is amazing. All waiters and waitresses are very knowledge of the drinks and food. If you need anything or have a question, they’re right there. The food is amazing. I’ve been there a few times and everything I’ve tasted (lamb or seafood) was extremely tasty. Everything is fresh, homemade, and delicious. I highly recommend and will keep coming back.

Apollon is a wonderful greek restaurant in Appleton WI. Whenever we have the opportunity to visit appleton to see our student and Lawrence University we make it a point to eat at Apollon. Their homemade lemon soup is outstanding as is the service. Their wine list includes some greek reds that you cannot find anywhere else. Highly recommended.

Wow! This was literally the best dining experience from beginning to end. Very interesting restaurant to say the least. We ordered the spinach pies, and two ribeye dinners the service was outstanding and the food preparation and presentation were first class. No surprise on the 5 star trip advisor rating. We were visiting from out of town and I am very sad that this can not be a regular dinner place for us.

This place deserves the five stars I have given it, what is there not to like! We got our reservation, arrived, got an amazing appetizer that our server suggested, got food that I wish I could have enlarged my stomach to consume it all and all of this washed down by an excellent wine selection… start to finish an amazing date night, pricey, but well worth it!!!

Can’t say enough good things

Took the whole family, including 3 teen girls here. We sampled almost everything. Saganaki, dolmades, and spanakopita just for appetizers!
Then chocolate filet, lamb sofrito, salmon marinier, gyros, stuffed grouper, and on and on. Everything was prepared and served perfectly. Avgolemono soup. best ever. Salads… light and fresh. Desserts for everyone.
The service was impeccable. Each dish presented beautifully. We never felt rushed.
Atmosphere is «intimate», so make a reservation. We’ll be back!

I went here with a group of 12. Hubby and I actually recommend splitting a meal. The mixed grill was fantastic.

I visit small cities quite often for work and I am constantly challenged with finding a GREAT restaurant in smaller cities like Appleton. Peoria IL, Davenport IA TAKE NOTE. Appleton has a diamond in the rough with this restaurant bringing QUALITY AUTHENTIC Greek food. I went in with low expectations and left a believer. Do yourself a favor and grab a bite here. You won’t be disappointed.

I had the fillet with chocolate sauce — it was wonderful. Belgians make the best steaks bar none and that was brought to the table here.
Started with the flaming cheese which was excellent.

On a 1 to 10 scale, easily a 10. Make sure you make a reservation though as this place is not very big and they have a very loyal group of patrons as well more won over every day. My wife and I being 2 of them. I will say this though. A couple came in without a reservation and the place was full up but, the maître d’ told them if they’d be willing to wait about 45 minutes at a bar in the area he would give them a call about 10 minutes before a table was about to open. I was very impressed by that level of customer service. (That couple was seated at a table when we were leaving).
Now a little about the food. The menu is not very big. There are not 100 different things to choose from. Which in this case means, great detail is paid to each entre. From the dishes we were served and the others served around us, we saw nothing but expert attention to detail. It was delicious and appealing to the eye. Any full description of an entre would take up too much time to type with one finger on an iPad but let me just say this… Amazing! I’ve never had Lamb Tenderloin, but I can’t imagine this tasting any better, anywhere.
Take all these reviews seriously. This place really does deliver and I can’t wait to try something new here. Do yourself a treat and enjoy this fine restaurant. It’s well worth your attention.

I looked at the lamb my server presented to me with the expectant intensity of a man who enjoys his food — and it was so tender and juicy that the mere glance caused the meat to fall right off the bone. Perfection.
A $$$ restaurant typically just looks more expensive, but this place one of the best values in Appleton. Entrées come with complimentary soup and salad, and I am not going to describe these to you. Not because they are boring, but because they are surprisingly magnificent.
The service is on par with the best restaurants you will ever enjoy. The atmosphere is humble and comfortable. The food is memorable.
Go to Apollon. Go to Apollon.

Thumbs way high for authentic Greek food in Appleton.
But pricey for the portion size and a limited (very sweet) wine list doesn’t have me rushing back. Service was superb though (thanks Kelly) and the humus to start with warm bread was a nice welcome.
