House of Wing is now China Hut. We ordered the house special fried rice and egg rolls unaware of the change and we were very disappointed. The egg rolls and the fried rice were not as good as in the past, we will be looking for a new restaurant. So be aware of this if you were fans of the food before the change.

Used to be amazing, then it was changed to the China Hut. Not even close to House of Wing. So sad. We loved this place before the change. What happened?

LOVEDTHEIRFOOD! After trying so many Chinese restaurants I thought we’d never have good Chinese food again. Man was I wrong! The first bite was amazing! Every bite after I was in heaven. This is now our place to go! Thanks House of Wing!

Just ate some of the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. House of Wing is fairly close, got GREAT reviews and I had a hankering for some good food from the far east. I ordered a General Tso’s combo meal, 2 spring rolls, cream cheese wontons and chicken egg foo young. First, the General. He’s a good man, one of my favorite chicken namesakes in the world. This was an abomination. The sauce was a very dark brown and didn’t have the sweet and spicy flavors normally associated with my favorite military man’s chicken. It was more akin to teriyaki(I guess?) than the usual sauce. Kinda tangy and savory, and VERY disappointing. No spice notes whatsoever. The chunks were big and the chicken texture was slimy and nasty on the inside while dry and firm on the outside. Boooo!!! 0⁄5 stars. The egg roll was BIG and it actually had some decent flavor to it. 3⁄5 stars. The fried rice was also okay, 3⁄5 there as well. The cream cheese wontons: barely any cream cheese on the inside and the wrapper was thick and chewy. 0⁄5 stars. Spring rolls were okay. 80 Cents a piece, not bad. 3⁄5 stars. The egg foo young: Two big patties that were soaking in a bland brownish/red sauce. My girlfriend is a big fan of egg foo young and she said it was among the worst she’s ever had. I tried a bite. I concur. My fortune cookie came in a weeeeeird wrapper, had 2 fortunes in it(same fortunes) and wasn’t even baked closed. Ironically the fortune(s) said my dearest wish would come true. Too bad I wished for good Chinese food.(sigh) I miss Chin Chin in West Saint Paul. I won’t be ordering from House of Wing again. The meal was just too unsatisfactory to warrant a round 2 of such self-abuse.

I was really hungry for Wonton Soup, Chicken Wings, and I had read that the egg roles were good too. IDK the egg roles were a good size but I don’t know the taste was off for me. Then the Wonton Soup they had put pee pods in it which through off the flavor I prefer green onions. Then the wrap on the Wonton was really think and kind of doughy. The chicken wings were ok but I would think with a name like House of Wing those should be excellent. I would think any place that has 4 ½ stars that the things I had ordered should have been way better. The people were really nice though but I don’t think I will go back.

We just moved out here and I really thought it would be hard to find good Chinese. We have been to a few other places and ok but not anything to jump up and down about. Chicken wings are super good along with the eggrolls mmmm eggrolls :) I would of gave it 5 stars but they forgot our cream cheese puffs. I did drive back and the owner gave me a fresh batch and felt real bad they missed that. Not a big deal it happens to the best of them.

First time and loved it! Ordered the General Tso’s chicken combo meal. The owner told me it was spicy, but I found it more savory than spicy. Ordered an extra side of white rice to go with the fried rice(both were perfect). The chicken was fantastic, and the owner ran out to my car with the burrito sized egg roll he had forgotten to put in the bag. He apologized and was so friendly. Can’t believe I live just a couple of miles down the road and just now found a great new spot. Thanks Unilocal

LOVE House of Wing. Travel here from Eagan. Last night ordered the chicken fried rice, chicken and broccoli, and cream cheese wontons. Amazing food. Fresh vegetables. Fair priced.

On my way home from work, I saw this place in a strip mall and decided I was going to skip cooking and have some Chinese. I go in and there’s a man and woman eating their dinner while watching TV. They weren’t customers. A guy behind the counter was wearing a hoodie with the hood up. Not the most professional. But I digress. I look at the simple menu and decided on the SnS pork, fried rice, chicken chowmein, and Egg foo young. Man, they sure gave a lot of food. It came in two containers. Anyways, the food was quite alright. I was impressed. I will be back to try some other dishes, especially when it only costs $ 7.

Food here is good. Have had three times last six weeks. Kung Pao is good. Rice is good. Food is hot. Beef Lo mein is good too. They have a cheap combo special which is decent for the price too. Chicken wings are Jurassic as are the egg rolls. Entrees are well portioned. Good value. We like it.

I love this place, it is cheap and the food is always good. I like the combo meals the best. Kung Pao Chicken is my favorite. For sure worth checking out.
