I always come here. The tea is almost always good, the employees are friendly, and the food is quick. There’s a fun atmosphere and everyone will have a good time while they’re here.

Great staff, very personable and pleasant to speak with. Enjoyed Dos Tacos meal with an Arnold Palmer unsweetened. It was fresh and tasted great. Love their hot sauce bar great variety of flavors and heat.

Food is good as always but, SERVICEISALWAYSHORRIBLE! After food is delivered nobody checks back for refills… especially on the outdoor patio area. If I was rating on food alone I’d give a higher rating but, seeing as how even the manager seems to not care about the service(we spoke with him) I’m only giving this place a two. Tonight we even watched a pregnant lady get up & go inside to get refills for her family. I’ve worked in the industry before & can tell you, the complete staff needs some serious training in customer service.

Nice Tijuana Flats location. I have to say, they are slowly winning me over from Chipotle, particularly in the Apopka area. The food has been good every time I’ve stopped here, and the friendly customer service at Tijuana Flats is a differentiator between the two chains.

I love Tijuana Flats, but the one in Apopka really disappointed me. I was not given a proper greeting by the staff member. She did not smile or was friendly or engaging. The floor mat at the entrance was very dirty and needed vacuuming. There were several dirty tables on the patio and inside the restaurant. The floor was very dirty with debris and food spills. The food arrived very quickly as expected. Some of the chips were stale; however, the rest of my food was pretty decent. I had the Pick Dos which consisted of the Steak Quesadilla and Beef Chimichanga with black beans and rice. I would not visit this location again because it was clean.

It was 10 minutes until closing but Annie didn’t treat us that way at all! She was the sweetest and most helpful person! Keep her and give her a raise. Did I mention the food was delicious! Tacos were big and so was the chips and queso appetizer. Loved the variety of hot sauce they had. If we lived in Orlando we would be here at least once a week. Bring one to Texas!

LOVE this location! Food is always perfect and the atmosphere is fun! I’ve never had any issues here. Gets a little busy around lunch time– but the staff is awesome. This is by far my most favorite TF location! Thank you guys!!!

Took the wife to have tacos this past week. Service was quick, I got my drink while waiting on line. The food was hot and arrived in only a couple minutes. Looking forward to my next visit.

I have been to Tijuana Flats several times, mostly during lunch rush. But my last recent trip felt more relaxed on a Friday night, despite a long line. Maybe it’s the festive lights that adds to the atmosphere. After waiting about 10 minutes in line, once up to order, had no trouble finding what I wanted, but thought I would add a dessert this time, and the girl helping me could tell I had trouble making my decision on my «chocolate chip dough» dessert thingy. She highly recommended it, that put me at ease and offered to bring it out a little later which was nice. When our food was ready a different server called out my name a few times in the adjacent room. It was noisy and he couldn’t hear me and didn’t seem to realize I could possibly be in the other room(or even outside) and he looked confused. That was only hiccup, but food was great as always, and my dessert was worth it and had enough left for a late night snack. I love the convenience of this location without having to go across town, and I will surely come back again!

Tijuana’s is the best and I frequent 3 different ones around town. Altamonte Springs on Tuesday nights and Hunt Club or Longwood(Publix Shopping Center at Wekiva Springs Rd and Hwy 434). You can’t go wrong with any of them. Taco Tuesday is a great deal! Don’t forget to get the«chips & queso!»

Wow! TJ, Sydney and Allyssa provide outstanding service and the food was the best! The steak tacos were great and the blackened mahi fish tacos were even better and such a value! I will definitely be making a return visit!

I love to go here for lunch! Fast and friendly and so affordable! It does get very busy around the usual 12−1pm lunch times so to avoid the crowds try for before or after or, another great and fast way is order it to-go and you can walk right up to your food all ready for you and still grab a seat ;)

The best Mexican food in Orland. Mega sized burritos. Good salads. Some vegan selections.

This is a great place to chill out, have a beer, eat a taco and burn your taste buds until your heart’s content. Wild and wacky décor — kind of like a bad acid trip infused with hot sauce atmosphere. There is usually some good music playing on the sound system with a laid back vibe. The staff is super nice and the food is very tasty. While I was there, a staffer was walking around asking patrons how their food was and I overheard one customer say that her meal was not that good. Staffer apologized and the manager was at the table post haste. Turns out a new food ingredient was being used for one of the entrees and it was affecting the usual taste. The manager comped their meal offered up another entrée for free and apologized for the experience. Then he thanked the patrons for being honest so that the appropriate actions could be taken to correct the menu item. To see service like that this day and age really impressed me. I had the two beef tacos crunchy, all the way with chips and salsa and it was freaking delicious. Each taco was about 6 – 7 inches long and they both tasted fresh and authentic. The other great feature of TFs is their salsa bar. Whether you want to make your tongue go running for cover and cry to mommy or let it romp through a golden meadow and sweetly reminisce of days past, it’s up to you.

First, I am not sure why at least 3 of the reviews I’ve read so far randomly mention that it’s a bad idea to visit, or live in, Florida. What! :/You can say that about a lot of states, but really… advising against Florida? Pfft. For such picky pickles, I guess it says a lot that TF has made their list of approved spots. It is indeed a fun and interesting place, and it could definitely impress an out of towner.(Your guest will be looking at the paintings, walls, and stickers for a long time.) I’ve been to TF a handful of times in the past few years. Honestly the sauce is what brings me back. There’s really nothing like it, and it’s fun how they rotate some of the brands. I am condiment crazy and they really give me a fix with that sauce bar. If the sauce bar didn’t exist, I wouldn’t go back. There is too much real Mexican food to be had elsewhere. Sorry. I always get the deep fried chicken flautas(with sour cream, guac, olives, plus more), they truly are my favorite thing there. I find the other dishes to be a little boring(for example, if I am going to eat tacos, I’d rather have very fresh and natural ones from Chipotle). For me, TF is an occasional guilty pleasure, a flauta-licious fried food stop, with a dash of 10 different hot sauces. Add always friendly service and fun décor, and it’s a solid place to grab a bite. But this is no place for your anniversary of course.

This isn’t my «home» TF, but it’s still Tijuana Flats! One thing I like about franchise-type venues is that you pretty much know what to expect … same menu, same recipe, same specials. Personally I like that! This is a cute venue, but very«compact» to say the least. Lunch can be kind of insane due to the volume of patrons and lack of space, but other than that … No complaints! Well maybe one, but it’s across the board at all the TFs I have been to — TF use to serve a pretty good Sangria but the one they serve now is crappy and while they do serve Mike’s Hard Lemonades, the price is ridiculous. Not being a beer drinker(which by the way my hubby swears is the coldest in town and cheap too) I’ll stick with the tea. Bummer though; Sangria and Mexican food is the perfect match! I love the atmosphere, music, funky murals and ceiling tiles, as well as the HotBar and seasoned chips with queso. Yum! The guac is nothing to write home about, but the sauces are the bomb! Lastly … My kids love TF and the kids menu items. And don’t leave without trying either some Churros or Cookie Dough Flautas for dessert(I wish they served milk!), you’ll love the sugar high that follows! So good …

Probably one of the Grade-A Mexican chains in the Central Florida area, Tijuana Flats is consistently a good choice for you taco and burrito lovers. This location is nestled away in the back corner of a shopping complex off the corner of SR436 and Hunt Club Road but is still pretty easy to find. The bright and fun décor on the inside is a sight to behold and be sure to look at all the signed celebrity photos plastered on the wall on the way to make your order. Just little details like this add to the lighthearted ambiance that is Tijuana Flats. Be sure to stop in for their Taco Tuesdaze special: two tacos, chips, and a drink for $ 4.99. The portion size for this is just about perfect for lunch time. You really can’t go wrong with much here. I would recommend the Bangin’ Chicken Burrito, which has breaded chunks of spicy chicken in it, or the Steak and Cheesy Burrito, which is more or less a cheesesteak sandwich wrapped in a tortilla. Perfect place to enjoy these are outside on the patio on a cool day with a beer in hand(they have a good variety of Mexican beer choices).

while California has way better Mexican food than Florida(not even comparable really), Tijuana Flats holds such a special place in my heart and stomach. Everything tastes great, the patio is the best place to chill out and have a negro modelo, the hot sauce bar is an experience, and the décor is so badass. i remember the time when I tried the endorphin rush hot sauce and found that special psychedelic place that comes when you transcend the pain! I agree with the first reviewer– I would also advise against visiting Orlando– but I sure am glad Tijuana Flats was there when I lived there.
