Moon And Lola

We are obsessed with Moon & Lola! This holiday season, we gifted various Moon & Lola pieces to my sister and several dear friends. At the top of our favorites list are the personalized bracelets resulting from the brilliant collaboration between Moon & Lola and Bourbon & Boweties. So on trend! Particularly stunning are the bracelets with the largest diameter charms. We also love the fact that the charms are lightweight (even though they look substantial) and seemingly indestructible. The weight absolutely makes a difference to anyone with wrist issues or arthritis.
The opportunity to play jewelry designer was a blast. The process included anticipating which colors would be most useful to the recipients, identifying the images that best reflected a recipient’s passions or personality, customizing background colors and images and otherwise creating a good «color story.» What’s not to love?!
Just one smallish suggestion to Moon & Lola: Please put your delightful images and monograms on both sides of your dangling charms (or at least offer double-​faced charms as an option). The charms rotate when worn and the plain reverse sides are not all that compelling.
As it so happens, Oprah has included Moon & Lola on her «favorite things» list for two years running (although we independently discovered Moon & Lola), which is a noteworthy achievement. Moon & Lola now is also ensconced on our personal «favorite things» list, and we cannot wait to return. We definitely know of some charm bracelets in need of additional charms :-).
