St Ignatius of Antioch

St. Ignatius is the church we usually go to hear mass with my fambam… this is just located about 5 mins away from my house. Thank you Lord…

Used to be an almost second home wherein everyone was welcomed by the priest, the officers, the choir and the parishoners. Now, more than half has left and has gone to other churches from rude rulings and remarks.
My sister was in a relationship with her bf for more than 5 years before they got married. Three years after the marriage, they had a baby. When she went to ask for baby to be baptized, she was turned away by Fr Robert. He criticized her marriage as it wasn’t in the church. He was mean and rude. Yes, he’s right in a way that they do need the church’s blessing but does he have to say it that way. He demanded church marriage first then baptism 6 months after. So, six more months unbaptized and unwelcomed in the church family.
As for the church officers, Nancy thinks she knows best all the time. It’s either her way or leave if you don’t agree.

This church is awesome. Such a wonderful and welcoming Catholic community in Antioch. Fr. Robert is one of the best, so it is always enjoyable coming to St. Ignatius for Mass.

Some of the best preaching of the Gospel in the Bay Area, great liturgies, music and hospitality. Fathers Robert Rien and Tom Bonacci are some of the best homilists I have ever heard, they could persuade the most cynical atheist. Recommended.
