Haven’t eaten here for at least 6 years. Their menu changed since then. The place is even remodeled with new signs and light fixtures. It looks pretty nice now. Our server was very nice and attentive. The Build Your Own Grand Slam breakfast for $ 7.79 was good. One can choose up to 4 items on the menu such as eggs, pancakes, hash browns, bacon, sausage, etc with exception that certain items such as ham and other items are extra charge. The hashbrowns and bacon are crispy and savory. Not happy with the hashbrowns order though. We ordered two orders of hashbrowns and the amount of the hashbrowns seems like one order from the regular grand slam breakfast photos shown on Unilocal. The Double Cheeseburger $ 10.49 was delicious. It had two ground beef patties, tomato, lettuce, red onions and pickles. Choose either American cheese, Swiss cheese or Cheddar cheese. It also came with delicious french fries which were temperature hot and crispy. We asked for sour dough bread instead of their usual hamburger bun. Overall, would return to this Denny’s.

I’m always working and never have time to dine in. It’s so hard to get ahold of anyone over the phone to call in my order. Do these employees really just let the phone keep ringing? Service blows.

This was the worst dining experience I’ve ever encountered! I wish i could honestly give minus stars. I absolutely understand sometimes things happen. I get it. But from beginning to end: everything was wrong. And the WORST part was when we approached the manager to make him aware and expecting him to ensure the rest of dining experience was acceptable, he was rude, disrespectful(yes, disrespectful. Can you believe it?) and unhelpful. 45 minutes to get a pregnant woman a bowl of soup is unacceptable. An hour for our food to arrive: unacceptable. Then missing 2 plates of food!?? All while leaving us with empty coffee cups… really? And REGGIE the manager(he told us «my name name was reginal-get it right.» Eventhough all his staff was actively calling him reggie around us) comps the 1 plate my sister decides to just cancel because the rest of us were done eating. UNACCEPTABLE! There were many more annoying details to this visit but I’ve already written a book, so let me just warn you: do not go here. And if you do and things get messed up, definitely dont expect them to rectify anything.

If I could I would give this location less than a star I must certainly would. This Denny’s has been going downhill over the last year or so. Tonight’s meal has pretty much made me decide I will not be returning to this location. I will take my business to Sylvia’s Kitchen or other local diners. I placed an order for pick up tonight so that my family and I could have a nice meal without too much hassle. Our orders were fairly simple. We ordered pancake puppies, 2 club sandwiches, both with no tomatoes, and a California club sandwich. Easy right? The only thing changed from the standard was we wanted no tomatoes on 2 of the sandwiches, this means they have LESS to put on. Well not only did they decide to put tomatoes on one club sandwich, but when I verified the order at pick up and found their mistake they argued with me and insisted that I was wrong. Finally they agreed to take the tomato off. So the lady takes it in the back and literally just picks the tomato off. I asked if they had gotten all the tomato off since it was for someone who cannot have tomato(thus ordering the sandwich with NO tomato!) she got huffy and said they just pealed it off. Then asked in a snotty way if I wanted it remade. I said yes, please do so. It took nearly 10 minutes for them to remake a club sandwich, now mind you this sandwich is a pretty simple thing to make. Not only did it take so long, but the lady wandered off and I never saw her again. Instead someone else came up and asked what I was waiting for. I told her my sandwich they were remaking due to their mistake. She picked up from the line where it was waiting and had been waiting for a few minutes. The service at this location is beyond sub-par. The staff and management do not care about taking care of the customers. They only want to get you in and out. I miss the days when Denny’s was truly a family restaurant where a family could enjoy a meal and not worry about rude, incompetent staff who cannot complete a simple order and then argue with you when you catch their mistakes. I will not be returning to this location and likely will have second thoughts about going to any Denny’s in the near future. Please note this location is now corporate owned and has been going downhill since it became corporate owned.

They have many upgrades to the establishment and the food is good BUT the new waitress’s that work there and management are morons. The inability to «Sub» out an ingredient is ridiculous. We have been going to this Dennys for YEARS and now all of a sudden they don’t know what button to push in their system to sub an item. It’s like they now have all frozen food like McDonalds and can’t break anything up! It’s a Omelet for crying out loud if I don’t want sausage in it learn how to take it out! They lost a lot of GOOD customers and will make sure everyone knows it. Learn your system Dennys on Lone Tree– idiots. Bring back the old owners.

My husband and I came into this location to redeem my birthday free grand slam coupon. I believe the young lady that helped us was named Kim. She’s a light skinned African American mixed(possibly) woman. Around age 18 – 25. Anyway, she was EXTREMELYNICE!!! She made sure my order was correct and walked me through the entire step. I was taking my order to go and she kept me updated on my order. She even wished me Happy Birthday. My own husband hadn’t even said it to me yet. Because of Kim, I’ll be returning to that particular location. I’ve been there in the past and service wasn’t up to par. I enjoyed my short visit with Kim. Thanks again Kim!

Straight up BULL! So after every performance, my child & the rest of the cast goes to eat @ Dennys on Lonetree. They also always leave a tip++++++, as they should. But tonight Dennys denied them @ the door. Unclear as to why although I could probably take a wild guess. So from now on my friends & family will boycott the entire chain. I will be posting on Facebook as well & doing a review of this matter on YouTube.

My husband And I came here for breakfast. The remodel is very nice and clean. We were told ten minutes to be seated for a booth. I figured it would be longer but after 40 minutes and then they skipped us for another group for a booth I was fit to be tied! I said something to her and all she said was ok. The manager came over and I explained to her what happened. She was really nice and said she would handle it. The food was over cooked and by the time we left it was over 2 hours later. The coffee was good though.

Went here with my boyfriend on a date on a Wednesday night. All the people were sitting on the same side in booths so no privacy and was loud. Was rushed to order and the guy started taking our menus as we finished ordering appetizers. Then I said we were ready to order our meals and he took my boyfriends order and scrambled our menus and rushed off before I ordered. Thanks for nothing. You aren’t very busy so why the scrambled rush. As a server myself I understand rushing to meet peoples needs but no need to rush us out.

Slow service. do yourself a favor and try Bills Café in San Jose. Its the bomb. You pay for what you get. Can’t expect a great meal for a cheap price. It doesn’t work that way.

This location has the worst service, I don’t know why I continue to come here. It’s not an isolated incident. There are 3 tables around us waiting to order, it’s not even busy. Christmas Day the kitchen was having so much trouble we waited 2 hrs. for our food. After waiting ten mins. to order tonight server didn’t even look up from her pad or apologize for the wait. Unacceptable they better make some changes.

A lot of wrong and not a lot of right. No silverware. Order was missing. No coffee refills. I can take into consideration that it is middle of morning, but no matter what time it is, service should not be that bad. Will consider other options before coming here.

Normally, the service is excellent and the food is delicious. Unfortunately today was a bust. We waited to be seated and about 7 employees saw us waiting and didn’t acknowledge us. At a minimum tell us they’ll be right with us. Than we finally get our menus and ordering was another long wait. We finally get our order in and waiting for the food was another long wait. The waiter was very kind but the overall service was terrible. We’ve been here since 12:40 and it is now almost 2pm. Btw, my food was oily and flavorless and my daughters burger was dry. Totally disappointed still waiting on the bill. Pt#2 i got my bill and didn’t notice that I was charged for an item I never got. So when I asked for a refund, I was told that once the transaction is complete, no refills are given… Smh… It just gets better and better(total sarcasm)

I absolutely loved this Dennys location, even in the late night/early mornings. The food is superb, and the service is friendly. Santa Fe Skillet or anything skillet wise is awesome, and should definently an East Bay Gem. Hoping that anyone visiting the area decides to try this dennys Brentwood has a beautiful strip where the location is based, with some of the gorgeous«Golden California Hills.»

My second time going here since the turnover to corporate. I just needed to give a star so I can write a review. It always takes them forever to notice you or maybe they simply ignore you. I don’t know what’s up with them. We were sitting for like 30mins already and no one even came to check up on us. They were completely ignoring us. It wasn’t busy and they were walking like supermodel. A girl named veronica(the newer one I believe so) was just walking passed by us she even smile but didn’t even bother to see whats up after she grab the drinks from 2 tables near us. I needed to call the attention of someone to get our orders and drinks. I am really not going back here. And I know that when people who works here read this review they won’t even care and will be like«then don’t come back» but I wish that you will improve not only your service but everything.

Service is always good and the food is decent. It does get pretty crowded during breakfast and lunchtime. In terms of cost, surprisingly its not that much different than having a meal at McDonald’s or Jack in the Box but I think it’s more healthy and you do get more food
