A & D Residential Care

Since moving our Mother to this family owned and operated care facility, the level of stress for my family has dropped tremendously. Previously Mom was in a «corporate» residential care facility with a unit for patients with ALZ. Originally a great job was done by all staff there. As management changed repeatedly, and then ownership, along with RIDICULOUS price increases for less and less care and attention to detail, we decided it in our Mother’s best interest to get her out of there.
The staff in this HOME, and it is truly a home„ are incredible, educated, caring, patient, and we are all SO relieved at the incredible care our aging Mother is getting that we cannot begin to thank them enough.
Impeccably clean, outstanding and healthy meals (something that had continued to go downhill at the CORPORATE place) and the truly caring attendance by the entire staff cannot be commended enough. If one is looking for a safe, secure, warm, friendly place for an aging parent, run, do not walk, to see this outstanding private care home.
My sisters and I are all resting easy since this wonderful place was shown to us. It will be Mom’s last residence and we are thankful that her final days are being in such a caring environment.

If I could give 10 stars for A & D, I would!!! After seeing mom’s large-​scale care home of the last 6 years go steadily downhill, with outrageous rent increases, I made the decision to move her to A & D on 2÷3÷14. What a BLESSING this home has been. Gloria, the owner, & her staff couldn’t be more helpful, kind, gentle, compassionate & caring towards my mom. They’ve gone above & beyond to make mom’s transition to a new home the best it could be. They keep their home extremely clean, the food is freshly cooked, not the canned & frozen stuff mom was getting prior to the move, & they make sure mom is constantly tended to, being vigilant about her needs. Mom, who suffers from dementia, has «acted out» a few times but Gloria & her staff expertly interact with her to soothe her. I’m glad I’m the first to give a review here. The folks at A & D are, without a doubt the BEST at what they do.
