Carl’s JR

If I could give this place a negative star I would. I came here a few months back. No tea made… no ice in the machines. When I received my «taco sald» it was more like soup. Really bad. I exchanged it for a mediocre sandwich. Well thought they had a «off day» guess not. Once again… no tea made… it’s 1100… no ice in the machines… and it is now going on 1122 and no food… pitiful. Received the food… all I can say is «mediocrity». I have eaten at some Carl Jrs. In other places and they were decent. This one… I wont return back. I have to work to be able to purchase products… I wont waste my money on this one again. Lesson learned.

I was so impressed by this Carl’s Jr that ib had to write a review. First of all, as a road trip veteran, this has to be the cleanest Carl’s Jr I’ve ever visited. Not perfect, but great. The crew was friendly, the food came out great and fast. I know to some this may not be a big deal, but the kids play area was clean. I’ve been to enough fast food restaurants with kids play areas so dirty, i wouldn’t let a stray animal in there, so to keep the kids play area clean, as a parent, means a lot. Right off the freeway, free wi fi, monster energy drinks for sale, milk shakes, decent burgers, breakfast, i mean, what else could you ask for from a fast food joint
As far as the food, i ordered the teriyaki burger with a green Monster. Not bad. Veggies were fresh and crisp. I love it when I have contrasting temps. Chilly, crisp lettuce and purple onion, sweet tomato, then, in the same bite, a warm juicy beef patty with salty sweet teriyaki sauce and a pineapple slice.
My son ordered chicken tenders and those were pretty good, too. He usually orders the chicken stars which is processed chicken shaped into a star shape. .I know, but kids love’em. Anyways, these chicken tenders were made with whole pieces of white chicken meat. Very tasty.
The fries, they’re good. I know McDonald’s is the American standard, but I prefer BK fries, Carl’s Jr’s are in competition.
I’ll be back to this location for sure.
