Valley Child Care & Learning Center

I have debated putting comments however as a new mom, I feel feedback on here would have helped me to NOT take my son to this place.
First, I will say that I only took my son there one full day because of the horrible experience. I took him there the day before to watch him play with the other kids as he has had a nanny since he was 3 months old. He was 7 months when I took him to Valley Child Care. The Director Karen was RUDE and not sensitive at all to my questions. She bascially told me well we have been in business for over 20 years and that is how we have always done it. When asking about formula mixing. On both days all the babies in the infant room were crying and seemed very miserable. On the one day I picked up my son all the babies were sitting in a line all crying. There was no calming the babies down and my poor son looked like he was in terrible nightmare. Let me say anyone who has met my son says he is the happiest baby they have EVER met! He wakes up happy so to see him so sad broke my heart.
On my way out of the daycare I also observed bad treatment of a kid that was crying and throwing a fit. The director was on the phone trying to call the parents with no luck and the kid was kicking and screaming. All she kept tell him was to stop and that they better not damage the walls. As the drama was unfolding I told the girl at the front «wow, this is crazy!» she said yeah, it happens. I said well not sure I will be coming back to this craziness and she told me «well that is your choice and you have to feel comfortable where your baby is» I said your damn right I do and walked out.
Needless to say we never went back and I will tell anyone who asks NOT to take your kids there. They have no compassion and my son’s new place has no chaos or out of control crying babies. They all seem happy and the teachers are wonderful!
