Been going there since it opened and have had no issues … until the last THREE times I’ve been there for lunch. Chicken so dry the skin disintegrates — not crispy — dust. Plus the chicken was dry. If I hadn’t been getting great food since the beginning, I’d give it one star. But 3 bad out of a few hundred isn’t bad, so 3 Stars. Won’t be going back, though. At those prices, I expect goodness.

Love this place! Every time I have been there, the staff has been super friendly. Even when the place is busy during the lunch and dinner rushes it feels like you are the most important person being served. If the car in front of you has a large order which is taking a long time, the cashier will come out and take your payment, and bring you your order as soon as it is ready so you aren’t trapped in the line forever. The fried pickles are probably the best thing on the menu. The chicken is never stale unlike some other places. Really glad to have this an option in my town.

My dad seems to eat here once a week. So, I’m guessing he likes the chicken. I’m a vegetarian, so he brings me home the fried okra. Everyone in my family who has eaten here seems to enjoy the chicken, and they keep coming back, so I’ll give it 4 stars. I’ve never been inside the restaurant, so I cannot describe the conditions. If you’re a vegetarian like me, the do have sides: fried okra, corn, mashed potatoes, cole slaw, fried pickles, apple pies, gravy, cheese sticks, french fries, corn nuggets, poppers and stuffed jalapenos. Also, their iced tea is *The Best* iced tea ever.
