What a cute new clothing store Downtown Ann Arbor! I happened to stroll past in recently and had to stop in and see what all the talk is about. They have beautiful bags and jewelry that caught my eye immediately! I walked in empty handed and I must say I walked out with many bags full of great items!

My FAVORITE clothing store in Ann Arbor(really, in Michigan). Located above the Bead Gallery on Liberty, Adorn Me features really great bags, shoes, clothing and of course, jewelry from the jewelers who work downstairs. They have a great selection of Tano bags(my favorite bag EVER I purchased here on sale a couple of months back) and they always have some kind of sale going, even if it’s a small sale rack, which is definitely a plus. All of the items they carry are unique and really range in price. It seems I am always getting complimented on things that I have bought at Adorn Me. They always have a phenomenal sale around Art Fair time(they use the week to move product) so be sure to check it out then if you can navigate the downtown crowds.

Oh my, I do love Adorn Me… they always have something I want, so it’s thee place my husband makes a beeline for during the holidays(i.e., gift certificates… I’d be worried if he knew my shoe-size or how to pick out a purse… but I digress) They have something for all price-points — this is not a «big wallets only» store, and their shoes are super cute and always have something unusual. The staff are very nice as well. I’ve bought 5 purses and a wallet from them since they opened, and always get compliments whenever I use them. :O)

I really like this store! Adorn me has a TON of bags and other accessories, but like the other posters have mentioned, the shoe collection is the best is town. I bought a pair of t-strap pumps here that I get compliments on every time I wear them… and I’ve yet to see them at any other store. They also have some really unique apparel here. At first glance it seems really pricey, but I went to the mall on the same day and realized that the prices are comparable to stores at the mall, with better quality and more style. Very nice staff, cute shop… check it out if you haven’t yet.

I was visiting the Bead Gallery, which is in the same building, and decided to take a peek upstairs recently at Adorn me. It’s a really adorable little locally-owned women’s apparel store. It’s got a very hip botique feel to it, with shoes, tank tops, handbags and more. Unfortunately, they didn’t seem to have much(anything?) in plus sizes, so I was limited to accessories for my shopping trip. It’s a funky shop with a fun atmosphere, an interesting selection of clothes and friendly staff. It’s worth a visit if you’re shopping Liberty Street.

I was recently in an ultra-stylish wedding where the bridesmaids could *gasp* choose their own shoes! Imagine my simultaneous delight and dismay at trying to find the perfect pair of shoes. I was on a budget, so when my picky self could only find shoes I loved for over $ 100, I was on the verge of just wearing my well-worn white Aerosole flats to be done with it. On a whim, I went into Adorn Me about five minutes before they were about to close.(Yes, I was«that annoying customer» unfortunately.) Doing a quick survey of the boutique, I figured I would be spending over $ 100 anyway. I was so shocked when I found their shoes to be stylish and still reasonably priced! None of the leather dress heels I tried on were over $ 80. These are not run-of-the-mill prom shoes, either, they were very unique and in interesting colors — but still with the peep toe and skinny heel. They have a beautiful assortment of affordable leather goods. I will definitely return there when I need to shop for a handbag on a budget. Also, kudos to their customer service. I tried on multiple sizes in multiple pairs of shoes until ten minutes after they closed, which is an extremely rude thing to do to a sales person.(To my slight credit, the wedding was the next afternoon and it was already night time.) She did not rush me and insisted on helping me get the right pair for my feet. If you want to find something fun, slightly quirky, and very cute to wear try this boutique. It’s an excellent place to try if you want a new, large leather handbag in a bright color — something nobody else is really wearing — for a great price.
