The chocolates are pretty good. However, I joined the Chocolate Club. What a scam! I got one box and then no more. I tried to contact them, email, phone, multiple times and no response.

Not much to say here other than the fact that nothing I’ve had from this place was actually good. Not to mention it was way over priced.

This is a great small town business with some of the highest quality chocolate i have ever had. The white chocolate popcorn is incredible. Somehow it is completely sealed so it never gets old. The spicy chocolate is delicious for spicy lovers. Great service. Fits the town perfectly.

RACIST This review is ONLY about the the blonde worker with red glasses who«helped» us today around 2−3p.m today. When we walked into the store we were not greeted. Which was not a big deal even though she was already looking at us and was not busy at all. Buuuuut. When other customers after us walked in they were greeted. Hm okay I just let it go. But THEN we were at the counter waiting for our turn as she helped the other customers before us. When it was FINALLY our turn she ignored my family and went straight to the customer behind us saying«oh you’re ready? Ill help you over here». At that moment I did not want to buy the chocolate anymore but my mother really wanted the chocolate and she said it was okay, we’ll see what happens. When she finished with that customer(who was behind us in the first place) the worker looked around the store for a few seconds still ignoring us. When she decided it was time to help us she was not as friendly as she was to the other customers before us. She did not say hello, didn’t ask us if we found everything alright, didn’t ask ANYTHING. just rang us up as if she did not want to. At the end of the transaction however she did her obligatory thank you. I don’t know if this was just a coincidence or not but all the other customers she was helpful to were NOT Asian like my family. I DIDNOT feel that there was good customer service at this store. It may have just been this worker and all the other workers are wonderful. But because of her I know I will NOT be going back. Such a shame because their chocolate wasn’t all that bad either.

Chocolate dipped fritos! Sounds weird… addicting! Seriously! Loving the caramel squares! Super helpful employees– let us have some samples of things we weren’t sure about. I have really enjoyed everything I’ve had here.

Better chocolate here than the one candy store in Murphys. Their haystacks chocolate has a better chocolate flavor and a real distinct coconut texture. I loved the rocky road bars — gooey marshmellows and yummy chocolate. Small store but the son in-law of The Chocolate Lady was very nice and friendly. Definitely a great store in Angels Camp. Next time will try the Chocolate dipped Fritos! :)

Chocolate. Chocolat. Cioccolato. No mater how you say it, it is delicious. With headquarters in Sutter Creek, The Chocolate Lady recently opened a new location in Angels Camp. Whenever I visit the Gold Country, I love to take a stroll in the historic towns. You can find so many wonderful shops, including candy stores. My mom used to take me and my sisters to the local candy stores for a little treat every now and then. The Chocolate Lady is just such the place I would have loved as a child. As you enter the doors, the intoxicating fragrance of chocolate greets you. All of the treats are made at the flagship shop in Sutter Creek. Chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate creams, and seasonal favorites such as peppermint bark are so tempting. Many other tasty treats are available for your sweet tooth. There are plans to start pairing local wines with the chocolate treats in the near future. Now that is something I am definitely looking forward to. Fact. :)
